Vidal is quite linked to RCP indeed. Bruce Fowler orchestrated some of his movies.

Lorne "technical assistant" ? You sure ? No way, he wouldn't lose time on a film like that as tech assistant. Music consultant why not. This just looks like a credit to hide his true role. I'll do a little enquiry about that... :Pthis is going to be an intense(ly satirical) film.Just a little offtopic - does anyone know something about Lorne's/RCP involvement in Fast & Furious 6? There's a bunch of RCP credits (Lorne Balfe as technical assistant, Gavin Greenaway as conductor) in end titles of the movie + the whole score sounds quite "RCP-ish" in some places (it even features a few samples from the RCP sample library). Thanks! :)Anybody else hear Curse of the Black Pearl in the first fifty seconds of "I Claim Your Sun"?Hybrid, any info on who did what?
thank you very much my friend i really appreciate that :)i hope this is good :DGuitwo, here it is. Crappy quality though:

/watch?v=yhov2VdhbzAGuitwo, i'm afraid the trailer 4 music is more a mix of several bits of the score. You can hear the tune of "Ignition", and then some sounds i assume are Zod's theme.

You'll get your answer when the score's out :)Still waiting for the leak. I'm starting to think that Anonymous is a troll.
No, I doubt that's the reason. They did the same with Danny Elfman's Oz score.It's great how they used the sad variation on the two-note theme when Blake goes, "He needs the Batman".10 days ago i was a bit reluctant about this next score (from what i heard in the 23minutes -or so- samples). No i much more hyped up

Ds: i would appreciate if you can help me find the music in da trailer because i don't wanna watch anything anymore concerning MOS. I know how WB are marketing their movies and after the 3rd trailer you have stop watching everythin because it's only spoilers spoilers and spoilers (images or plot).

just sayin: please no spoiler on the page :)I don't blame Hans. I know it's watertower.

But this kind of crap and 56 editions and bonus tracks push me to pirate it. So far I haven't purchased 1 WaterTower score although I purchased a looooot of other ones.

And I'm sure I'm not the only one. Score fans don't like several editions of a soundtracks, exclusive apps and stuff. Just sayin'Blame WaterTower, not HZ. They did the same circus with TDKR and Inception (we even fought them with HZ to put the Inception bonus tracks out)... :/
Yes. Hans Zimmer seems to be the new Lady Gaga of soundtracks.

Sneek peeks, samples, fan made promos, interviews about how brilliant the score is, featurettes, 1 track that is sold 'accidently' on iTunes a month in advance, trailers, soundcloud, movieticket exclusives...

It's a score goddamnit. It's made for the movie/movie studio/director and not for the fans. I was always glad i am not into a lot of commercial music because of all this hype crap.

Sorry needed to vent. This hype and so called promo's are having an opposite effect on me ^^
I love the distorted bass sound in that trailer! Sounds really crazy. This might be part of the few tracks giving credits to Hans & Junkie XL, because it's more electronic. But who knows...I do think "Flight" is an amazing track, though. If John Williams sees the movie, I'd love to know what he thinks of the score.I agree..... but at the same time i really CAN'T wait for this soundtrack to be released so i'm always glad when a new piece is released :p

Hybrid: as a HZ fan, i really don't know how you can resist!I agree Ed, that's also why I don't listen to any of all this...

agree with you hybrid and be sure we tryied, but it's not possible for the moment. You can do almost the same with the pop-up player ;-)
I saw a problem with the pop-up player which ut the music when listening 2-3 hours. I solved it by erasing the temporary files (on firefox).
Sorry for the wrong pictures given by the player, it's automatic and we're currently working on it...(Tks Damien :-) )

you can pop the web radio out. on the right corner the button there. just click it, and then you have a pop-out window.

What about a pop-up window (which doesn`t need to be refreshed together with the main page)? :-)

What would be cool Nico is the previous widget on every pages like you tested, but which wouldn't cut everytime we change of page... It's a bit annoying... Problem is, I don't know if you guys can manage to do that on our good old H-Z.com !! :D

Yeah, you know, the family tree is quite big... Most of the old MV Team have created their own businesses...

Klaus Badelt created Theme Park Music (Andrew Raiher, Ian Honeyman, Mark A. Yaeger, Daniel Rojas...), HGW created Wavecrest Music (David Buckley, Meri Gavin, Halli Cauthery...). Powell has his own thing too (James McKee Smith, Michael John Mollo...)

JNH and his JNHStudios hired or regularly works with some (ex)RCP people (Stu Thomas, Mel Wesson, Rob Persaud). Brian Tyler & Danny Elfman work regularly with RCP or ex-RCP people (Matt Margeson, TJ Lindgren, Todd Haberman...).

So it's all very complicated !! :D

1 - This player is on test, because is doing a lot of errors ; it would be back in a few time after tests...
2 - We are "Official Fan Site" since Mr Hans ZIMMER allowed us to write that on our website. However, our subject is Mr Zimmer and a lot of composers who have collaborated with him. But some of this composer want to be detached from RCProds & Hans ZIMMER, because they want to have their own career (Klaus Badelt by exemple) ; So they asked us to do such a banner for their page on our website.

:)

Two questions:

1. I saw a webradio widget embedded into the left sidebar a few days back. I liked it. Now it's gone. Is it coming back? :)

2. Not webradio related, but the banners up top are starting to confuse me. One says "Remote Control Productions Official Fansite: Hans-Zimmer.com." The other says "No longer with Remote Control Productions: Original-Soundtrack.com." What's the story?

@Nick - Webmaster

Hey thanks Nick!

I don't mean to carry on a somewhat personal conversation on this board, but I suppose everyone would be interested to know: do you or any of the other guys that maintain this site get to frequently talk with Hans or work with him on anything?

Nicolas, Webmaster reply Replies: 0 || 2011-02-09 00:00:00
Thank you very much for your nice comment :)

Just Added : Hexe Lilli - Die Reise Nach Mandolan (Ian Honeyman & Klaus Badelt)
& "Romantic Flight" that i don't present anymore ;-)

@Nick

Nicolas, Webmaster reply Replies: 0 || 2011-02-09 00:00:00
ok, Romantic Flight will be added tonight :)

Hope you enjoy the new flash player, and feel free to add it in your website ;)

@Nicolas - Webmaster

I would be happy with any of the three I listed, but my vote still goes towards adding Romantic Flight to the Web Radio. I find it to be remarkably beautiful and magical. However, it is also the shortest track of the three, so others may want to choose a track with more seconds of Powell's magical work.

Here's how I break it down to help everybody choose a track (at least from the three I think are most worthy):

Romantic Flight - Very beautiful and magical sounding and is one of the most memorable music cues in the movie.
See You Tomorrow - Very upbeat and joyful and is also the longest track out of the three.
Coming Back Around - This is the ending track in the film which has parts of two previous cues mixed together. It starts out with "Romantic Flight" and moves into a ridiculously epic rendition of the movie's signature theme "Test Drive" (even more epic than the original cue).

I don't know if Nick wants us to post our request here or email it to him, but unless he says otherwise, I suppose it is okay to do either.

Webradio back on the net ;-)
Sorry for this long silence !!!

I will just add one track more from How To train your Dragon, because all the good reasons i receive to add more tracks on the webradio are very good reasons to buy this score ;-) !
So just one will be enough, just tell me wich one you'd prefer to listen, i'll do it !
