Hybrid, if the numbers mean nothing then it works both ways. What makes millions of people who don't believe in God anymore right then the millions who do believe? I do feel sorry for you if you are just expecting to feel nothing or be nothing after you're dead. What hopelessness that must be.

Zimson, I was not making up stories at all, I was merely giving you some of the creationist point of view arguments against evolution. There really is a great deal of very strong anti-evolution evidence out there that should not just be brushed off. There are volumes written on the subject. Many evolution scientists have acknowledged some of the problems with the theory but they would never consider the God /creation side of the argument because that goes against the humanistic approach most scientists prefer to pursue. I understand why scientists would feel this way because simply believing that God created everything is too simple. They have to prove their "intelligence" and faith-based beliefs are not scientific to them. I get that but I also understand the power of God and faith which cannot be explained.

I respect the differing opinions here and I find this discussion very interesting.@anonymous
I used the word "crazy" cause you made up ridiculous stories to putatively disprove
things that are currently considered as scientific standard. The reason it can be called this way is that it's not so easy to do so. I would never consider someone crazy just because they believe in God.The number means NOTHING... It's not because 5 billion human think God exist that the only one guy who says "no way" is wrong and deserves to be burnt. A big majority of Germans voted for Hitler out of despair in 1933, most of them were not racist assholes, and we can agree that the "number" made a big mistake there...

I'll go "Interstellar" on this but the problem is we experience time as a line, with past, present & future, and we assume there would be a "starting" point of origin. What if there's not... What if before Big Bang there was no "before", no time as we know it, in some sort of different dimension we can't even imagine ? We'll probably never explain all this...

Just like after death there's nothing to expect. No "after" either, no heaven or afterlife or anything... Not even void. And we won't even regret it, it's not like we'll keep thinking, we'll be no more... Theories, theories...

Well I have no problem if people want to believe in things, I blame people who tried throughout history to brainwash the whole planet (and generally quite violently) they THEY were RIGHT... Just don't throw your faith to my face... :)MacArthur, you are correct. That really is the problem for both evolution and creation, both models require that something came from nothing. As for me, my faith in God allows me to believe that He was the originator. I'm not at all crazy as I think Ed or Zimson called me earlier. There are millions and millions of believers in the world who believe in God and creation, I don't think we are all nuts. When a person comes to understand and accept faith in God, then it is hard to explain but I believe God actually transforms that person's heart into believing His truths. Those of you out there who believe in God and the Bible know exactly what I'm talking about. It really has!
No, much much more complicated than that ! :)Good music from Hans, but let's face it: this soundtrack release has been a huge mess from start to finish :pSo this is a project that Hans collaborate with someone who's not from RCP? This Martin guy is a nobody so my guess is Hans is recruit to replace part of Martin's music.Like who ?Wasn't this originally getting a score by someone else within Zimmer's team?
Honestly In the sense of this argument I think that it makes sense that God created the world rather than it just happening or evolving.

Think of it this way out of the nothingness came something. That is basically what evolution is. and Hybrid I just asked a question. that was truthfully a logical one. I'm not forcing God or Religion on anyone. I'm just asking questions. That just demand thought.

Emphases on nothingness."You can tell me whatever, I just take a curious look on what's around us, and I hardly believe there's a master plan written for all that... But I can understand humans need that to feel they "matter" and reinsure themselves. Who wants to go home and think "I'm useless on a random world", but this is just a mind trick I'm afraid to sleep better at night... :)"

Right! We're a tiny spot in the universe but we still want to believe someone out there cares about our little lifes. I wonder if all the intelligent alien species have developed a religion. We won't find out in our lifetime most likely."I believe that God created everything. Believing that everything just happened all by itself is like believing a tornado could blow through a junk yard and put all the pieces of garbage together to make a functional Boeing 747. It's absurd."

Evolution does happen by itself, but there's a system behind it and it works across species (group selection, etc.) - just like a software. And no reliable scientist will ever say the big bang just happened by itself, they will say that we don't know it for sure yet.
That's why science can't rule out a creator. Some super powerful being could have programmed a code and formed the laws of nature, but what we know for sure is, that no one interferes, because math works everywhere and every time.
The only plausible explanation for me is that we're stuck in a never-ending cycle. Once the black holes will have absorbed all the matter in the universe they will form one super-black-hole. This state would be very similar to the one "before" the big bang. Why are you putting in my mouth words about evolution here ? Re-read I was never said a word... But the world is 6000 years old, built in 6 days (and probably flat too, we've been lied to !).

Some book said so ! Must be true !

And please creationists, don't try to play the smartass proving you're right by proving the others are wrong... *So proud of myself I destroyed your theory, I just forgot that mine doesn't make any fucking sense either !*

You don't have to be a genius and study the millions of animal species on this planet to see that living organisms on Earth tend to adapt, even physically, to their environment. I remember watching recently an interesting documentary about a species in Asia (don't remember which -_-), and a part of the animals went to Sri Lanka when it was still "attached" to India, and finally got trapped when Sri Lanka became an island. And the species ended up much different than its original cousins, with capacity to climb trees & stuff and adapt to life on the island.

You can tell me whatever, I just take a curious look on what's around us, and I hardly believe there's a master plan written for all that... But I can understand humans need that to feel they "matter" and reinsure themselves. Who wants to go home and think "I'm useless on a random world", but this is just a mind trick I'm afraid to sleep better at night... :)So far we are good... I knew that one for quite some time but wasn't really official yet...
Good analogy anonymous, I couldn't have said it any better than that.

Don't forget, all the evolutionists can do is just keep adding billions and billions of years to the equation to try and laughably explain away every unexplainable aspect of evolution. Who knows, maybe with enough years, that 747 just might be able to create itself too.

Zimson, one of the biggest problems with evolution is the lack of transitional fossils in the fossil record. If for example a fish somehow turned into frog over billions of years, wouldn't you "logically" assume there would be as many half-fish half-frog fossils in the record as there are fish and frogs? What, did they suddenly change overnight? This is true of literally every species in the record. Why are there not millions of half-ape, half-man skeletons either? Every once in a while they find a jaw bone or something that is a little different and then try to claim that is proof of evolution. There should be transitional human skeletal fossils in as much abundance as there are fully human ones but there aren't.Hybrid, whats the difference between believing mankind "just happened" or like you, believing that a supposed big bang "just happened" leading to all the intricacies and mechanical order of the universe and vast species of complex biological life? By the way, I don't believe mankind "just happened", I believe that God created everything. Believing that everything just happened all by itself is like believing a tornado could blow through a junk yard and put all the pieces of garbage together to make a functional Boeing 747. It's absurd.Wonder how many more projects Hans will be announced as doing/having done by New Year... ;)Try Garageband first. It's free and there are thousands of Soundfonts available also for free on the net. If you can't make something good in Garageband, forget it - there is no career for you in music. GB is powerful enough for a beginner to create excellent music. Punters are always shocked to find out what basic software Eno used to create his definative textures - you don't need to spend megabucks if you have talent.Hans is on a roll here. Yes please.
