I don't think this is the case at all. The music is really beautiful and emotional. If people, including myself like it, that's good. You don't have to like it though. The score is good, the variations on established themes is nice, it sounds bigger than ever. I really like it.

However I don't see why some people are raving about score of the year.

Ramin is music, orchestrations and progressions are alway very simplistic when you compare to other composers and scores. He is a bit like the McDonals of scoring. Very nice once to have, juicy and good but easily forgotten when you are going to a restaurant the next day.Well The GOT scores are always good but this is just incredible. The thematic development is really great. The way in which Drogon and Dani's themes have developed and started playing together is really great and you hear it in for instance Blood of my Blood. Finally in this season the Stark's got some revenge and redemption so we get some wonderful versions of the Stark theme! The Lannister theme is present on the OST but the OST is missing a few important versions.

The album is finally longer than 1 hour and while it is a great release, I couldn't hep but wonder why they couldn't have added 2 more bonus tracks: the iron island theme (when it plays in the early episodes of s6) and the Lannister battle fanfare. As this is such a great album I shouldn't complain about those tracks but it would have been nice to include them on disc 2.

Ramin created such emotional, scary and epic music for this season and I think it's time that GOT's music wins some awards!Yeah, really, the most beautiful score of the year, and it's for a serie. Quite weird to say that this is more inspired than other scores from this year.I think at least we can expect some interviews about that on the bluray release!
Hello! It's me! I was wondering if there is any interview or statement of Hans Zimmer after his tour? He disappeared so quickly. I know there are upcoming projects like the CD and Blu-ray of his concert and the CD with artists who perform his music. But is there anything he said about his tour? How he felt during and after his tour. If he could imagine doing it again or does he prefer using the time for composing instead?
I read that he wanted to do some holidays in Germany after his tour. Is that the case now or is he already busy with new projects?
Thank you in advance you lovely ZimmerlistenersNo, Ds, this is really me, I'm afraid...Holy shit! I just listened to the score and this is the best one yet!
Ramin really used his themes well and came up with some new ones! I love how the scores has become bigger and bigger as the story has progressed. His use of choir in the denaerys tracks is amazing and I'd love to have the lyrics for the Winds of Winter!

But let's talk about Light of the Seven. What an amazing piece. When watching the scene you're awestruck that you hear this piano piece in GOT. The stunning sequence was perfectly done and the music really made it work!

This is easily my favorite score of the year!

"Winter has come"Really? Damn, Bill... You've just destroyed my idealistic world. Are there any plans for tour in sweden during 2017?
Best regards Marcus
Actually mister anonymous, you don't support the composer. The composer doesn't own the rights. The studio does. So you're supporting the studio. And WB has more money than bill gates, Donald trump and the sultan of Saudi Arabia combined.Hybrid, did Hans and Junkie write any suites outside of the Batman theme suite?

Watching the ultimate edition there are some interesting variations on the Africa theme and the "Flight/love" themeThe awesome one :D On the other hand, UK is pretty big, so maybe for some people it's a struggle to go to another city if it's pretty far. I did not stop me to go to the neighbour country though (about 600 km). :DWell, you see, Sam... There's a legend about the ''score trading mafia circle'' - people who have that rare (in their eyes) stuff, that everybody would like to have, but they keep it locked tightly like it's their own product, their creation and those complete scores / recording sessions (whatever you name them) float around until someone decides to show enough generosity and ''leak'' it. Sometimes it happens after a year or two... Sometimes it can take 10 years or more... However, only by buying the authentic copy of CD you truly support the composer and all the people involved in the process. Of course, some composers don't care if their music is spread all over the internet, some aren't happy at all. However, that is illegal and everybody silently agrees with it. Yes, sometimes original albums lack ''that one precious cue'' everybody loves, but if we talk quality - we should stick to the original releases. Because anyway - once you get that ''precious track'', it suddenly becomes not that precious anymore. Talking about BvS - I bought a physical copy of the deluxe version and I'm very happy with it, unlike most people. It's just my opinion. But the legend... continues to live on.

To sum it all up: if you're lucky enough to get the complete score - fine. But please, consider buying the original first. That's the least we can do to support those, who create masterpieces we all love so much.It looks like the haters from the filmmusicreporter forums are using Macejko's name to write insanities...
Looking at you, Lindword and BB!
I would say that it much rather needs to be completely forgotten, but to each his own.someone needs to leak the complete scoreOh dang I didn't even know that. I hope someone leaks it within the next year or something somehow. And yeah it doesComplètement d'accord! C'était absolument fantastique, svp un dvd !!!What kind of dad celebrates his birthday 5 times in 2 months? :o :o :o
