I'm waiting for my copy, but of all the download versions I've come across it has been substantially altered. I was upset too.I will check for you later today Alan!

I downloaded the 1080p IMAX torrent a few weeks ago and all the volume seemed fine to me! People must have been crazy saying the music was too loudRight... so I got my blu-ray pre-order in today, a day early, and I can't help but notice (or think I do, at least) that the loudest parts of the movie, where the music really used to drown stuff out (that I, personally, loved but everyone else complained about) has been dumbed down a bit? I realize my home theater will not sound even so much as an ounce like the IMAX I saw the film in multiple times, but damn... I really feel like those scenes that really BAM sent the score home. Scenes I am thinking of are the bigs ones: Mountains, Mann's betrayal, Docking. They're just... not loud anymore. The voices and the sound effects are great! But the music... it's toned down a bit.

Has anyone else had this issue with theirs? I even checked out the iTunes version and it's got the same volume control as well... does anyone think Nolan succumbed (or was forced) to obey a few complaints and "turned" the music down? Man I really just hope it's my system....Hans , I am a young violinist in a modest orchestra Chile, symphony orchestra in the municipality of El Bosque , I love your music and I am a fan of the trilogy of Batman, we would do very proud to play your song Rise number 15 of the pelicila the Dark Knight Rises, I tried to find scores without success to find them , please if you would be so kind as to give me a copy for playing this wonderful song.

I hope you can answer .

Atte
Diego SuarezYou're pissing me off mate, posting this on every page you come across. Those complete scores exist. You might be too dumb to find them by yourself, but they are real. Stop jerking around.
So, how was it? Watched some recordings on youtube, it must have been awesome!
Would you knock it off already posting these stupid "unofficial complete scores" already? They do no exist legally anywhere and we can never buy nor hear them ever so WHY DO YOU INSIST ON DOING THIS OVER AND OVER AND OVER????I really don't think they would've put a 12-minute track on the OST Mike. That rarely happens anymore. We got luck with Angels & Demons!Yep but it is a different version. 41 cues and they are demos not sessionsI really, really love the "Strategy" cue. Terrific to have in the background during writing or studying. That cue and "Mr. Charles"--a travesty they weren't put on the album release.
Excluding the songs, there was Scar's Dinner, which used a version that is still unreleased in any form bar the film. Then there was Stampede, which had alterations to its opening percussion and chorus mix. As Good As Dead PT1 had its ending mixed with additional snare percussion. Rafiki had some cuts and the ending was dialled out for a chorus-only fade. Homeward Bound had additional changes to its percussion, including an additional hit at the start and the removal of all percussion at the end, and they also modified "Simba and Nala Move In/End", mostly with standard editing but at the end they did alter the percussion mix.Martin Tillman is scoring a new movie called A bell for Ursli! I'm very glad that he gets to do some composing of his own these days! He is such a great musician! He plays the cello in most of Zimmer's and HGW's scores if you don't know who he is:PYes the forum has it, but without track names. Only slatesI love it, too. Can anyone tell me how to get it? Thanks.Webmasters

I have noticed that every now and then a certain album page gets flooded with discussions about another - usually forthcoming - score, for which we naturally don't have a page yet. I was thinking maybe we should have a thread for each score a RCP composer is attached to work on - whether or not any album(s) are planned or released for it - and then, later on, a separate page for the actual albums when those become available. This could make things organized and probably easier to follow. Just a suggestion.
Which ones?It can't be any worse than the previous two films. And it does seem to be offering something different to the previous films anyway. The idea seems to be the idea presented in the first film that the future is "one possible future" instead flipped around so that the future is set, but the past is "one possible past". It's an intriguing idea, as are some of the ideas alleged to be what we'll get in the film (I won't spoil those here).

The big discussion here, though, is the score. I'm hoping for a better presentation of the main theme, there's now the chance to properly reprise the T-1000 motif as well. I'm thinking that the approach should be something like an inbetween of Elfman's score for Salvation and Trond Viggo-Melsen's music for the Salvation video game. Not all the mixing that was present in the film was in the leaked version as several cues had more revisions before they got used in the film, though the leaked version is currently the only place to get two unused alternate pieces of music.Mr. Zimmer,

To me you are considered one of the best if not the best composers of the modern era. It would be an honor to see you someday live in concert. Do you ever come to Cleveland, OH?

Thanks for the music! It is represented here as track 69 and serves as an intro to Aboard the QAR.
