I feel like someone is samefaggingand what has this mainstream shit to do with Hans Zimmer? Only because it´s for a movie where also is Zimmers music included or did he produce or composed it? (I hope not)lol.....@Mariusz I translated it for you. You're welcome. ;) Use Google translate next time please.

Welcome. I come from Poland and I wanted to share my impressions about this MASTERPIECE. When I first saw the film, I immediately drew attention to the music, and I knew I had to have it! And so it began. Since then, I have listened to it many times and I still can't get over it! This, what Hans created, is just ... brilliant! I can't find another word to describe it. From the first to the last note it is breathtaking! I have shed a quantity of tears I can't count. At the moment it is my NUMBER 1 Hans Zimmer soundtrack and will remain long in this position. It's probably enough. Greetings to all fans of Hans, and Man Of Steel!

Have you noticed the links of internet have two songs titled "Insert"? These one are the alternate versions of "Looking Into Limbo" and "Mr. Charles".

By the by, what is the E Tragic Strings Suite?
Witam. To chyba tyle. Pozdrawiam wszystkich fanów Hansa, a także Człowieka Ze Stali! You can contact me at antas@hans-zimmer.comDoes anyone know if the digital version of the soundtrack is crossfaded, or were those taken out like with Man of Steel? The crossfades make putting the album in film order rather irksome.^^^ I love this comment so much. So, he is not returning for Dragon 3 Or Kung fu Panda 3?
Of all the film composers I know, Powell was one of the few I did not want to step aside.i seriously just keep repeating the last 30 seconds of cold war....idk why but it's awesome.Yup. Shot in the dark, but it got me thinking that maybe Andrew Kawczynski was in charge of it. Doesn't sound like HZ IMO, kind of sounds like Lorne, plus that beat is from "Underground Army"...Wasn't Cold War the cue when Paul Giammati was driving the truck?I know that the beginning of the movie is:
There He Is
(Unreleased cue, opening scene)
I'm Spider-Man
Cold War
No Place Like Home

And at the end, merged into each other:
You're That Spider Guy
It's On Again

Well I don't think he's taking another break...

It's still the continuity of his 2012 decision to step back... Rio 2 & HTTYD 2 being some kind of parenthesis... If he has a project he cares about, he'll score it... But like I said before, don't expect him to go berserk scoring 7 films a year and saying yes to everything, like in the past... Far from it...Interesting development: filmmusicreporter.com/2014/04/23/john-powell-to-take-break-f rom-film-music-to-compose-concert-music/It's way beyond my ability, because it's really confusing. Like it starts out the movie with a slowed down version of There He Is, then it goes to unreleased cues, I'm Spiderman, and then has like an excerpt of You're That Spider Guy...I think when 'The Rhino'?? is driving the truck in the city, then Gwen's theme picks up (which is like a variation of We're Best Friends and then when Electro or Max Dillon is walking around the city with his blue prints there is excerpts of The Electro Suite (I think?) heard throughout him being on screen. And then when Electro goes to the city and first faces Spider-man, well the My Enemy cue is definitely split up between this part of the movie and when he faces Electro in other scenes in the movie. I think There He Is is when Gwen searches Max Dillon's info at Oscorp..Just my input. So, does anyone know the chronological order of the tracks?Ha, so, folks: this is what happens when Zimmer fanboys hear a woodwind in one of his scores.

Variations on Modern Warfare 2 Main Theme (2009) [submitted : March, 13 2011]
Performed by Karel Antonin

The part after 00:58 is very unique. Very good, hollywood ready. My respect for the creator of this song.

Thank you!

Just saw/heard Rango. Good-tasted, clever and brilliantly performed production as always. My deepest respects.
BUT, if I may :
- Chase scene on horseback. Is it a reference to Star Wars, right? The battle in the Death Star. Surprisingly, we hear Wagner instead of John Williams. Why would that happen? A concept choice? Legal issues? Permits?
This movie is full of "musical jokes" uses a great variety of styles and ambiences and "almost quotes" a lot.
"Almost quoting" J.Williams would be more appropriate, wouldn't it? In fact J. Williams sounds very close to Wagner in this Star War score, doesn't he?

-Still in the same scene, when Rango "flies", hanging from a rope, there is the Blue Danube. A reference to 2001 (see? Two sci-fi movies!) or an almost unfortunate choice for this clichet? Maybe a little too obvious? The idea is clear, and The Danube, of course, works quite well.
Rango, with his delusional personality, enjoys the flight and forgets about all the trouble.
Maybe another famous valse?
And , I dare to say, it lasts a little longer than it sould.
I believe I see the intention of creating a kind of surreal situation : an intense action scene with a great valse.
Another point for changing : 8th bar, when action restarts. That's obvious, I know... But I just feel that this "dream" moment goes longer than it should and loses some strength.
And maybe the next changing point (when the rope wraps on the stone bridge) could be more developed, prepared.

Well, I hope you do accept this comments from an true and sincere admirer.

Cheers to all.

I listened to Jason Do's medley (good--I've never heard the original Four Feathers score, though the Spirit part was great) and I got the thought:
What if there was a collab between Zimmer and James Horner to score a movie directed by James Cameron? Since Horner scored Titanic and Avatar and you, Zimmer, are among my favorite composers, I think it would be a good idea. (Can somebody say BLOCKBUSTER?)
If Zimmer himself reads this, (1) thanks for your awesome movie scores and (2) Please think about a collab with Horner.
Keep up the amazing work!

Gladiator - Honor Him (2000) has a good sound. Unfortunately it's not played in rhythm (totally wrong timing). Would be cool if you could improve this.

I would like to do a short cover (more like a 2'30'' adaptation for plectrum orchestra) of "Once upon a time in Africa". How do I go about with all necessary authorizations and stuff? Your music in truly inspiring!

Dear god Mr Zimmer. That is the most incredible piece of music I think I've ever heard. The movie is an absolute masterpiece on it's own, but your remarkable soundtrack enhances the experience to the umpteenth degree

Dear Mr. Zimmer,

I'm moved by the Piano melody for Clara of the soundtrack The House of the Spirits. I would try to play it on the piano myself but can't find the sheet music anywhere. Do you perhaps can help me to get it? I'm willing to pay for it, of course!

Best regards from Belgium!
