u ask "is it from the sessions?" and you know thats rips whith sfx? :D hahah. made my dayI think we were all clear that both Snyder and Tom intended to use material from Hans. I don’t think he’s writing new music, but I do think Tom will use a lot of Hans.Is it true that Hans Zimmer is working on the Snyder Cut? That would be spectacular!Lol it’s probably low quality rips from the filmwhaaat? the complete score?? where??
where did you find it? what is it called on youtube?i found a complete album on YouTube, but the audio quality is not good as I thought. Is it from the recording session? Where can I find a high quality audio of this album to listen?just going to leave this here: el matador del mar, a great character, killed so easily because sparrow needed to be the great hero.

i disapprove, long life salazar!!What is the name of the song playing when Maggie leaves it’s beautiful and haunting. The music from this movie is sheer genius a mix of heavy metal, jazz, and rock and roll! Awesome...!Yes! Finally someone else who has heard it to! I am a HUGE fan of both trilogy's, do you like POTC?
R.I.P. to Ennio Morricone, dead at 91.

For those who aren’t as familiar with his material, check out Once Upon a Time in the West, easily one of the greatest scores of the past century. You can definitely hear where Zimmer took inspiration from, for Pirates/Lone Ranger/Sherlock/Rango/etc.

“Parlay” is such a love letter to the main tune from OUATITW...it‘s unreleased...@hybrid soldier
Where can i hear the songs you have listed out? I can't find it on YouTubeLooks like Zimmer's abandoned Z+. It only worked on one iOS system, then because it wasn't recompiled for the next system wouldn't decode the music you paid for. Locking your purchases into an app was a VERY BAD idea. Now there's nothing out there that's as good at providing a great surround sound experience for headphones.So Lorne's mp3 uploads. Would anyone class that as an 'official' release of the music from the movie?
Currently watching this movie the first time ^^ ... and then... suddenly a music motive spontaneously pops up. Sound exactly like a little part from Armageddon "Secondary Protocol" - really cool :) love the music in this movie. Very intense.I don't mean to pile on but do you really think that Hans touring is the only obstacle to a CD release of a completely forgotten 12-year-old film and score by a different composer?And why would Hans' tours be responsible for the fact that many albums these days don't get a physical release? While at the same time those tours even got an LP release... lolYou are aware that there's a pandemic going on right now, right?I'm pretty sure that neither did he.

Simple and beautiful... not match for the Kamen's work though in Band of Brothers. I like the most "Honor - Main Title Theme", "With The Old Breed", "Landing Peleliu" and "Honor (For Oboe And Strings)".

Thank you Hans, Geoff and Blake!

... my CD text's are not showing :-(

Who says HZ co-wrote Honor ?

I mean, it's just on Blake's website... no word of HZ...

Julien Brunet reply Replies: 0 || 2010-03-12 00:00:00
Hans Zimmer is a genius. He's got THE german's music gene. His music touch at first the body, then the soul that's why he loves playing with direct and indirect feeling. Furthermore this is a a complex music. Tracks "Men at war" and "Sledge's humanity" are for sure its own compositions. So easy to recognize the Zimmer's style. Definitely a genius.

Adrian reply Replies: 0 || 2010-03-12 00:00:00
@ Julien,

I heard that Men at War was McNeely...! It sounds more like McNeely too... :P

Julien Brunet reply Replies: 0 || 2010-03-12 00:00:00
My mistake, but could you confirm this info (where did you hear that?),
Thank you!

Adrian reply Replies: 0 || 2010-03-12 00:00:00
Compare the two pages from Geoff Zanelli and Blake Neely... They put on their sites which they worked on.

I am so sorry, I always mix up the names of Joel McNeely and Blake Neely... Sorry Blake!

To Julien Brunet

Sorry but at www.geoffzanelli.com you can see which cues were "solely composed by Zanelli," which includes Sledge's Humanity. It's also the same theme as his Adagio For Peleliu and New Kind Of Bomb. From all what we know from Zanelli's, Neely's and Zimmer's sites, it is:

Zimmer/Neely co-wrote: Honor, Honor (For Oboe And Strings)
Zimmer wrote: Torn Souls, Iwo Jima
Neely wrote: You Have No Idea, Fallen Friend, We've Gone Respectable, Memories Of Home, Landing Peleliu, Where Do We Go From Here?, Men At Wat, War Is Hell and Homecoming
Zanelli wrote: With The Old Breed, Terrible Solomons, Nightfall On Okinawa, Private First Class Robert Leckie, Praying For You, Even The Trees Hate Us, Get The Wounded Aboard, Adagio For Peleliu, The Peleliu Hills, Dear Vera, Sledge's Humanity and New Kind Of Bomb

That's the cd. Does anyone know how to find out who wrote what parts of the actual show?

Great score too! Good job guys!

Julien Brunet reply Replies: 0 || 2010-03-12 00:00:00
To ELE

Hans Zimmer doesn't compose only 2% from this score, be fair. This is a team score, and if one composer makes a track it is remade by the two others that's the meaning from "a team score". I think Zimmer has given the line to compose, and he didn't want to fall into the trap to make a "thin red line" bis which was too perfect.
Pacific score is not perfect, it is humble. I don't like this preconceived idea that Hans Zimmer is lazy. Such a master deserves the best consideration.

This piece it will be great! Congratulation for the team for this honest work. And, for the Comander Zimmer; dont forget you´re "the King" and one of the greatest composer of the Cinema.

And it's not helping at all as Geoff Zanelli said which cues he did, and it doesn't match at all with that iTunes stuff... ;)

Skyler reply Replies: 0 || 2010-03-05 00:00:00
This is the composer breakdown according to itunes.

3, 16, 25 - HZ, GZ, BN
1, 7, 12, 14, 18, 23, - HZ, BN, GZ
8, 9, 13, 20 - GZ, HZ, BN
4, 10, 19 - GZ, BN, HZ
2, 15 - BN, HZ, GZ
5, 6, 11, 17, 21, 22, 24 - BN, GZ, HZ

Technically it still doesn't specify who did what since all three composers are still credited for each track, but the order is worth noting.

Ele reply Replies: 0 || 2010-03-03 00:00:00
I say: Zimmer 2 % (main title) Zanelli 78 % Neely 20 %

Enrico reply Replies: 0 || 2010-03-03 00:00:00
Can we know the percentage of the composition? For example: Zimmer 50% - Zanelli 25% and Neely 25%...

Wow, just from the samples I'm REALLY looking forward to this album being released! I wanna be like one of the first to get it. It sounds a little like Pearl Harbor in places, but just different enough to not be a complete copy. Gosh, I can't wait for it! Zimmer at his best right here!
