I wonder if this track is the one causing consternation: Nils Frahm: 'Says' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIwwjy4slI8

It sounds a bit like what Richter and Balfe could produce, but it is much more artistic than Balfe and much more synth-based than Richter. Frahm is credited for additional music. Not writing negative comments about Balfe for the purpose of writing negative comments - ie. trolling - but for the fact that Balfe does not seem to take film composition seriously. Goldsmith had a similar pace in the 1990s that equates to contemporary Balfe, but he managed to produce fantastic scores like Air Force One in a few weeks (yes, with some help from McNeeely). Balfe simply does not seem to have those skills so he resorts to cliches and drony nonsense. I await to be proven wrong. That Balfe track is not half-bad so I do maintain a general sense of expectation for this. Not any more lame than the Balfe cueLorne says it will be released and insists itís not a GITS situation. That's been standard in certain cases, though considerably less nowadays with how complicated these situations have become.

Having heard both tracks posted, both give me little on their own. I'm sure they work better in the context of the film, and we might see better tracks unveiled eventually.
He deserve better.Hans and Lorne like twins. Lorne has a very good personality. I still don't understand why some people are still writing bad comments to Lorne?Probably... lolSo is this how itís gonna be? Official release for Richter and leaks by Balfe :(Lorne posted a track from Ad Astra on his YouTube channelThank you. And i suppose "Need You Busting My Balls - End Credits" title would correspond to ASCAP "Need You Busting My Balls" + "RUSH END CREDITS", while "Just Married" to "RUSH MAIN ON END"?
Thatís literally the best part of the score though. But itís typical Richter (Miss Sloane, Black Mirror: Nosedive).Hunt Drunken Weirdness is barely a cue actually, it's just a patch up of sound designs by Mel...

Italian Party is a name I made up for a cue that's not used in the movie ! :)In ASCAP there is a cue "HUNT DRUNKEN WEIRDNESS" - is this by a chance an alias to "Italian Party", which is absent in ASCAP. Though there are different credits Zimmer/Wesson vs Zimmer/Klebe.https://open.spotify.com/ track/2UcUL4jytfVpW0jSXi3Ggi?si=ETyixI67R5u9AOU1YuClPw

very lame the cue from Max...Tom Holkenborg:

After Funeral
Anguilo Bugged
Bathroom
Big Italian Dead
Billy Connolly Lunch
End Credit Suite
Main Title Theme
Bring Jimmy Into The Tent
Connolly and Marianne In The Kitchen
Death of Deborah
Death of Halloran
Death of McIntyre
Death of Mickey
Death of Wheeler
The Disappearance of Whitey Bulger
Halloran Interview
Hospital Cafeteria
Iíll Ask You Again
Informing Connolly
Jimmy and Marianne/Loading Valhalla
Jimmy and Connollyís First Meeting
Make A Case Against Him
McGuireís Phone Call
Native of Southie
Picking Up Tommy King
Source Overlay
Steak Dinner
Thereís Nothing More Iím Going To Know
Utmost Respect
Weíre Doing This
2 Minutes

If to talk music only, I heard Max mostly, but... nothing really different from his previous works. I heard the same motif as used in Hostiles and Morgan and probably elsewhere again and again... Nonetheless, enjoyed the movie itself immensely. From Deuscthe Grammophon.

BTW, i expect the Max Ritcher soundtrack@MrZimmerFan Ok, thank you for the update about the full soundtrack next month

This has to be one of the best theme songs ever! The horns right at the start just give you shivers down your spine. Then when the strings come in... WOW!!! This is brilliant work!

How the heck don't you like it... Because it's to long you say. To me this is perfect, the imagery and message put forward has been taken to a new level. Defiantly not boring buddy. Everyone is entitled to there opinion though.

This soundtrack allows you to feel the emotions of the show. Music is just as important as the acting in any show. But this soundtrack takes it to a new level. Great work. Get the Emmey ready it's your.

You - are - a - genious.

All of the soundtracks in movies and/or games we get the strongest emotions from are all yours. The Pacific's soundtracks are outstanding just as the rest of your works.

Thanks for enhancing the experiences with your marvelous songs!

Very original, the use of the crumbling crayon as combined analog for history/narrative and as a visual metaphor for destruction. Whose idea was that? The music really punches home with just the right level of bathos and grand gesture. Awesome

Highly evocative interplay of visual metaphor and music. Congratualtions to both composer and designer. Beautiful.
