Any idea on game of shadows?these sessions will leak tomorrow at 8pm.

It will not be me, of course, but i know exactly who will be doing this.

Trust in me.It's great how they used the sad variation on the two-note theme when Blake goes, "He needs the Batman".10 days ago i was a bit reluctant about this next score (from what i heard in the 23minutes -or so- samples). No i much more hyped up

Ds: i would appreciate if you can help me find the music in da trailer because i don't wanna watch anything anymore concerning MOS. I know how WB are marketing their movies and after the 3rd trailer you have stop watching everythin because it's only spoilers spoilers and spoilers (images or plot).

just sayin: please no spoiler on the page :)correct me if i'm wrong, but i understand that inception was leaked just because someone got "jones"-'ed.
I don't blame Hans. I know it's watertower.

But this kind of crap and 56 editions and bonus tracks push me to pirate it. So far I haven't purchased 1 WaterTower score although I purchased a looooot of other ones.

And I'm sure I'm not the only one. Score fans don't like several editions of a soundtracks, exclusive apps and stuff. Just sayin'Blame WaterTower, not HZ. They did the same circus with TDKR and Inception (we even fought them with HZ to put the Inception bonus tracks out)... :/Yes. Hans Zimmer seems to be the new Lady Gaga of soundtracks.

Sneek peeks, samples, fan made promos, interviews about how brilliant the score is, featurettes, 1 track that is sold 'accidently' on iTunes a month in advance, trailers, soundcloud, movieticket exclusives...

It's a score goddamnit. It's made for the movie/movie studio/director and not for the fans. I was always glad i am not into a lot of commercial music because of all this hype crap.

Sorry needed to vent. This hype and so called promo's are having an opposite effect on me ^^
I love the distorted bass sound in that trailer! Sounds really crazy. This might be part of the few tracks giving credits to Hans & Junkie XL, because it's more electronic. But who knows...I do think "Flight" is an amazing track, though. If John Williams sees the movie, I'd love to know what he thinks of the score.
I agree..... but at the same time i really CAN'T wait for this soundtrack to be released so i'm always glad when a new piece is released :p

Hybrid: as a HZ fan, i really don't know how you can resist!I agree Ed, that's also why I don't listen to any of all this...I agree; most of the samples are lame, too. They purposefully leave the important tracks for the actual release.I'm probably preaching to the wrong crowd here, but is anyone getting a little sick of the endless procession of streaming tracks, samples, sneak peeks etc.? It just seems like they're cranking the hype wheel WAY too hard. I haven't heard any of the music except what was in the one trailer, but it seems like they're putting up a new cue every couple days now. Chill! Leave some for the album, guys...I found a two minute preview of "Flight Part 2". I'm not Hans Zimmer's biggest fan--I don't like everything he's written, but if you ask me, this was fantastic. Very big and epic. As MGDrone said below, it amazes me that Hans has scored films for the two most (arguably) popular superheroes out there.
the question is why release an "exclusif track" for preordered ticket called flight part 2 and put the same cue in flight (the version in the album. nonsense?

plus the transition between the two part is too brutal.Guitwo, you find 1-3 second flexibility with track lengths of songs truly ripped from the CD all the time on youtube. Just because the track is 4:20 instead of 4:18 is hardly a valid argument.
The one on youtube is actually 4'18" long!anybody know about Flight Part 1? Been looking for it but can't find it....fan made edit i rather say

flight is suppose to be 4:18.
I heard a rumour that Hans and John will be scoring Disneys new "Winnie the Pooh" film. I'm pretty worried that hans isn't planning to do the new Pirates film - this is his schedule for next summer

March 18 - Rango
May 20 - Pirates 4
June 3 - Kung Fu Panda 2
July 15 - Winnie the Pooh

It's possible but fairly tight. But possibly with the new director and direction he won't be interested in returning to POTC. I really hope not.

2012 should be one of his best years ever with sequels to Sherlock Holmes, Angels and Demons and the Dark Knight, three of his best scores in recent times

Also the hobbit by howard shore! Can't wait for 2012!!

To Lawrence,
U could be right but I don't think so
I'm sure that zimmer is preparing a very impressive score for us to enjoy!
Het never let me down, and I dont think he will do it now

Are there bands with songs on the list?

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-16 00:00:00
I second that Enrico. :)

This is the tracklist for "Nightmare on Elm Street" by Steve Jablonsky.

Enrico reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-15 00:00:00
@ Lawrence

Because is too normal for a so difficult film, know that Zimmer and Nolan have been searching a new kind of score, and then because...I can't say, but I just say that maybe there will be a surprise in the score...

Victor reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-15 00:00:00
to Lawrence
I think zimmer did the trailer music, and that zack hemsey guy is a fake! There's no way Chris Nolan is putting a whole another score in the official website other than the original one, I mean think logic! I mean who the hell is this zack hemsey? Does he even exist? Sure I myself can open a website on my name and tell the people that I did the dark knight score and its not the work of zimmer, Who is stupid enough to believe me?

Cloud reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-15 00:00:00
Victor: lol, that is ridiculous. Btw. none of the trailers were underscored by Zimmer.

ow common would u believe that the music in the official site of inception could be anything else than hans zimmer? If it is, then Christopher nolan is not much a great of a director anymore, cuz u just cant make a mistake like this.

Lawrence reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-13 00:00:00
@Enrico Why do you think, that this isn't the music by Hans Zimmer?

Lawrence reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-13 00:00:00
OK so on the official site let's hope that we have the official score by Hans Zimmer. But it's possible that Zack Hemsey used some parts of Zimmer's score? The brass section sound more than similar.

Miles reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-13 00:00:00
@Andrew:

It is possible that they just decided to change the release date. After all, we haven't received any word about cancellation yet.

Ravi Krishna reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-13 00:00:00
The movie's coming out on the 16th so I think they'll probably release the soundtrack a few days before that, not on the 6th as originally shown. Also, IMDb still lists WaterTower as doing the soundtrack release, so no worries.

i m dying to listen to these scores

Enrico reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-13 00:00:00
I don't think that the score that can be heard on the website is of Zimmer and neither that that is posted by someoen:

http:// inceptionmovie. warnerbros.com/ mp3/ loop_1.mp3

I don't think this is the original score by Inception...

Bondo reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-12 00:00:00
The new trailer music is called "Mind Heist" by Zack Hemsey. It's available for $1 at:

http://music.zackhemsey.com/

It sounds very MV/RCP-ish

Joshua reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-12 00:00:00
OH DAMN! The track on the films official site is all kinds of BADASS!!!! Can't wait! The trailer tune is awesome too, maybe Zack Hemsey could be a future prospect for RCP.........just sayin'.

Bou reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-12 00:00:00
hmm , I tried to purchase the track from the trailer on : http://music.zackhemsey.com/
it says "available for sale in the very near future" : pehraps because I'm from europe and it's not available yet for international users?

Enrico reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-12 00:00:00
Ehi guys, the track in the trailer is not of Zimmer!!!

Bou reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-12 00:00:00
enrico, check the post of Bondo..

Enrico reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-12 00:00:00
Sorry...

Lawrence reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-12 00:00:00
OK so the track from the trailer is not by Zimmer. But what about the track that we can hear on the official site? I think this is really the official score for "Incpetion" by Zimmer. Or not, I'm so confused?;)

Joshua reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-12 00:00:00
I would say with almost 100% certainty that he track from the offical site is the offical score from inception by Zimmer. Most official sites from movies always put the original score from the film on the website, look at Prince of Persia or The Dark Knight two years ago. Plus the track itself screams Zimmer...well at least to me anyway.

Andrew reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-12 00:00:00
Did anyone else notice that Inception is no longer listed on WaterTower website?

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-12 00:00:00
Yes that's music from the official score. You can download the track at: http:// inceptionmovie. warnerbros.com/ mp3/ loop_1.mp3
