Only a very few video games, and movies for that matter, leave an impact where the music becomes intrinsic to the remembrance of the game/movie. Halo had a few moments like that, but this soundtrack really hits the gut, and has a deep emotional resonance in a few places. The visuals combined with the music really leave a lasting impression.
I look forward to buying this when it becomes available.
Mr. Zimmer I really like the music to this game and I'm really willing to buy it. I think it's really pretty and inspiring :) I listen to the soundtracks very often since I love them so much (The Whiskey Hotel music is probably my favorite with The Enemy of My Enemy coming in second). I can't wait until you release it! What might help and ease people's minds is if you put up a plausible release date, just so we know you didn't forget about this ;)
yeah, i play piano and i would really love to get the score for some of this music, its so awesome anyone know where i can get/buy the sheet music for these tracks
Please Mr. Hans Zimmer release it. I think all his fans and even those who are not certainly will buy this cd because this really has been one of her best work ever made it certainly deserves to be in any collection.
A great soundtrack that any collector who boasts of being must have.
Certainly deserve all his followers also have this cd.

So, I'll ignore my previous statement for now. I'll replace it with another question. Is there actually going to ever be a release for this? It is amazing and would be major on the sales market. Many people are wanting a release to this.
Please release this soundtrack!!! It was a total hit. I don't even play CoD MW2 at all, but i watched my boyfriend and friends play it the music was incredible. I've been a HUGE fan of Hans Zimmer since pirates. His music inspired me to play the violin. People have offered to burn or download the soundtrack but i refuse, because something this good deserves to be bought and paid for. So please, release the soundtrack. I'm sure im not the only one who feels this way.
About the CD, I directly asked Hans Zimmer & Lorne Balfe...
Hans said he wanted to do something before releasing it, but has no time for it (so according to him, it's not Activision blocking the release).
Yesterday, I asked Lorne and he told me the OST is ready, mastered, and that it's up to Activision to release it or not... And he'll try to contact them soon to see if it's actually coming or not...
So, between those two explanations, I'm a bit lost ! :O
Hi, I know that the above message states that you don't want people to ask for CD downloading, copying or trading etc. But I have been trying to find a soundtrack for this amazing music by an amazing composer in various places, such as Borders, Amazon.com, and many other places. I was hoping that someone could tell me where to find a disc soundtrack or something on itunes, or some type of soundtrack. Or, if they haven't made one, I would highly suggest that they do, because the music is just excellent. I would really appreciate it. Anyway, nice website. Thanks! -Matthew Gilliam
i would like to hear the fully "introduction " music in th OST CD , i love the theme music in the game intro video before mission 1 , but it is too short in above montage mp3.
I play the Viola for a school orchestra and i'm wondering where i can get the score for this, i love the game, the music is AMAZING, and i want to play the music in my school orchestra, can you please tell me where to purchase/get the score?
