Yeah, the 44-track, 3-hour version is much better. The tracks are organized into chronological order and not only that they are extremely good quality too. This bootleg doesn't do justice to the score that Zimmer and Balfe actually wrote in the game. If you want a true experience of this score you need to find the 44-track version...it's amazing!
Ehi guys, I've seen that people has ranked with 1047 votes this score, and with just 27 votes the score for Sherlock Holmes...come on guys!!! Hans is a film composer and not a videogame composer!!! We should wait more SH...what do you find of interesting in MW2? I think that Hans has done much better with other score!

Very impressed with this soundtrack, Mr Zimmer has surpassed most if not all of his work on this one.
The deep & sombre violin combined with the backing synthesizer about 2:25 into Montage #2 is an absolutely beautiful composition that fits well with the well thought out and presented storyline that Modern Warfare 2 has in its single player campaign.
Any more music like this and I quit life and listen to this 24/7!

@OKKU: Yes, you're right! everybody has his own right to write down his thought about the scores here.... My own is also, that this isn't his best work.... :-)
I do agree hans works in the last couple of years may not be as impressive as expected , But about the list you made . I think Da vinci code in 2006 was great score ( Think about : Chevaliers De Sangreal as an example ) .
2007 - Lets say nothing ! but in 2008 listen to "A dark knight" from dark knight score , its really amazing in some minutes . 2009 as you mentioned we can only refer to 160 BPM .
But about Modern Warfare , Come On !!! first its a VIDEO GAME at the end , plus what you are hearing are not real tracks , they are montaged by fans ... Try to listern the first track again , specially the second half . it may change your mind !
Yes, it's a videogame score! and the problem of the complete is IMO the short tracks. I cutted them together. Level for level. The result of that is, that some tracks really sounds great. For instance the track which the nuclear rocket starts. Or the hostage rescue of the oil rig! Give them a chance. Maybe a commercial release with some "Suites" will be better than this short tracks.

Outstanding soundtrack from the best in the business. We all know that the musical score can make or break a movie, well this soundtrack has made a good game great. Thanks to all involved.
