I hear a lot of music throughout the postcad, I imagine from the movie, piano and very orchestral, it promisesseeming score snippets at 6:29, 29:13 and 34:55.in the first episode is nothing about the score :/ mehhThis is a beautiful score by the way. I have feeling this will get lost with NTTD, Dune, and WW84 coming out, but people should give this a listen. The new overture is a nice remix of the main PEII theme. And I "Surfing Dolphins" is yet again a winner.Dave didn't work on it, but a few Blue Planet stuff were used so he gets some sort of credit in the cuesheet for "A Celebration".
Who did Zimmer do this with? Shea and Fleming?May Mr. Zimmer and his team be interested on “extracting” music from the human body for medical purposes?<br>You can reach me at:<br>jcp77452 at um.es<br>ThanksNot only is the album fun as a concept album, it's a surprisingly good score to picture. The themes are really clear for each of the characters and the music really fits the action. Even though the action is kind of corny. Real underrated gem. <br><br>I finally watched the film and even though it's a sort of 5 or 6 out of 10 average/okay movie, it reminded me just how much personality gets injected when Hans Zimmer does the score. He really has a strong voice.Yeah this is a pretty fair assessment.<br><br>While I’ve found myself liking it less and less now that we’re hearing things like ME or Alita from Tom there are still some excellent tracks throughout. <br>(The Dark Tower, Collateral Damage, Guardian, It Will Fall, Roland of Eld)<br><br>My biggest gripe is with the purely sound design cues. They honestly go nowhere and end up padding the album out. What this score needed was a solid villain motif and some more orchestral underscore. It’s like one-half of the score is the more traditional side of Holkenborg whereas the rest falls into his early habit of just making noise.I give it a listen after three years, and i still like it.<br><br>If isn't as good as Mortal Engines or Alita, have a interesting aspects to enjoy: his main theme for Roland, some of the action cues are strong, even the dramatic ones (The Creed or Collateral Damage), some of the sound design are interesting.<br><br>Maybe the weakest aspect of the album, is the middle, some tracks are not that interesting to listen.
woooooow <3From the "No Time to Die" podcast description...<br><br>"You can also be the first to hear exclusive score from Hans Zimmer and brand new recordings from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra from Bond 25 brought to you from Decca Records."<br><br>First of six episodes is released on Wednesday 30th September!!that would be great@GR7 that sounds really cool care to share?Hi! What's the story with track "Into Space"? They really copy track "Planet Descent" and name it that "Into Space"?
I agree guys. Yhis album and parts of the experiments are vey enjoyable. I tend to listen to OST prriodically, and each year there is one or severall scores that replace what I listen the most, and so on... but Dark phoenix is one I can listen every time. <br>I made personal suites assembling music from the OST and mixing it with expremients, and it results in a 50 min suites album, I really like it.Same for me. I'm so happy ! :DA Celebration? It's actually on youtube now.Got it. I assumed as much for the first 3. Thanks.hahahaha ... crack, sorry. Well so far there is no news of anything. Only the video that one track and one with Dave, but it's a preview.<br>I'm not sure how to get news on this, I really would like to get it hahaha.

too bad just 64kb/s :(

Westfall reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-14 00:00:00
Great find, Sylvos. The track is heard between Jetfire's exposition on the Prime's history and the scene with Sam and Mikaela at the pyramids. In my post in the forum i call it NR 20 – “Run Like an Egyptian”.

westfall reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-09 00:00:00
Yes, i have split the channels and am in the process of cutting them, following the list i posted in the forum... more or less. With these better files and with no dialogue over them, i've had to reacess some of the NR clips. As soon as i have the time i'll update the post.
As others have posted, though, the resulting clips are far from perfect, nowhere near the quality of the first movie's Promo/bootleg release. Lots of FX and some Autobot dialogue remain. Still, it's a lot better than what we've got now. Someone with better skills might be able to get better results.

matthew reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-09 00:00:00
wait? I think there won't be any bootleg release from reprise records or remote. They released the score cd and the soundtrack and that's it. It's done. next release is Elm Street. the ROTF is over.

Ele reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-09 00:00:00
If its so bad, we will have to wait for the 'official' complete bootleg :(

great just great...
a recording sessions for this movie is likely, when batman begins got stuck with 12 tracks.

@2009/10/07: You can do this with Adobe Audition. But Quality will not be so good.

westfall reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-08 00:00:00
I used VirtualDubMod to demux the AC3 audio file and then ran it through BeSweet.

Hey Westfall! Used? so You made it? how can I hear it?? I'm soooooo excited!

Ele reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-08 00:00:00
I'm excited as well :) First chance to get a extended version of this great soundtrack.

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-08 00:00:00
lots of fx... Not a really good result.. Even right and left channels are full of sfx..
But 'Arrival to Earth' remakes are amazing like 'Prime' alternations which are just perfect.

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-07 00:00:00
Westfall, how do you do to extract every channel?

JablonskyFan reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-07 00:00:00
The Agent/Representation of Jablonsky is "Gorfaine / Schwartz Agency", you can call them here -> Phone: 818.260.8500

gsamusic.com/contact/

maybe there is a chance to get the recording sessions... (also for "friday 13th" and "the hitcher").

The DVD and BR Rips have been on the web for over a week with 5.1Ch. As have no idea what the source is but they're awesome. I will buy the original but its always nice to have a digital copy to watch in my WD TV box.

matthew reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-05 00:00:00
5.1??? Do you have the original dvd??? How?? release date is oct 20. don't tell me you get it from the web because maybe its good quaility but not the same. I think we should wait 20th and then try, but yes i'm a huge Jablonsky fan but i want to listen this great music very loud with my HiFi

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-03 00:00:00
Front Left - Center - Front Right
Surround Left (rear) - Surround Right (rear)
LFE : Low Frequency Effect (Bass)

westfall reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-02 00:00:00
I think all DVD and BR movies should come with an isolated music track. That would solve the problem, mostly.
As for being impossible to get an almost clean soundtrack, i have seen some that have been done that way. But it takes someone with an actual understanding of how this stuff works and far better software than what i have. They're not perfect, some layers of music, mostly bass, are lost, but they're quite audible.
I extracted 6 tracks labeled FL,FR (presume these are Front channels), C (Center?, mostly isolated dialogue), LFE (No idea what that one does and mostly it has no sound at all), SL and SR (???).
FL, FR, Sr and SL have varying degrees of SFX, i'm thinkisg a mix of two or more of these and some creative trimming might work out to some kind of audible result. But it will take quite some time.

I want AN OFFICIAL RELEASE OF BOTH TRANSFORMERS SCORES IN FULL. I'LL BE HAPPY TO BUY THEM.

that would be really nice... :/

D A R T H reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-01 00:00:00
1) this is not possible
2) use the rear channels (less sfx)
3) I WANNNNNT A BOOOOOOOTLEGGGG !!!! ...... huuu sorry ^_^

westfall reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-01 00:00:00
anyone here that can clean dialogue and FX from a 5.1Ch track? I got it and split the 6 Channels into individual tracks, That gets rid of some dialogue in certain channels but i'm still far from any kind of brilliant result. At least i now have a better understanding of the score and clearer music than before. I'll update my post on the forums accordingly, ASAP.

@Adrian

I write because it's fun to see what will you call me.

It's not forbidden to name Jablonsky a poor composer.

westfall reply Replies: 0 || 2009-09-13 00:00:00
To those who want to add a new track to their scores go to http://www.stevejablonskyonline.com/. They have posted an unreleased exclusive track named "Megatron Awakens (Original Unused Track)".
Very dark and eerie, with hints of the original "Decepticons" theme from TF1. If only they'd release the rest...

westfall reply Replies: 0 || 2009-09-13 00:00:00
Sorry, guys, a small error in my previous post, this new track is actually a previously unreleased track, yes, but from "Transformers", not "Revenge of The Fallen". Still, the point is valid just the same, there is still unreleased material from the first film and, obviously, a lot from the second. RELEASE IT NOW... Please. :)
