Mancina's theme + Ad Astra + MW:2= Bad boys for Life.Please enlighten me on how Bad Boys 3 sounds the same as Lego Batman or Genius: Picassowhy his music always sound the same...if he doesn't have time why he keep scoring more and more films per year? is it all about money?Modern Warfare 2 is a lot in the album!<br><br>- It's Good Shit Lieatenant<br>- We're Dangerous People<br>- What Else You Got (Bad Boys Remix)<br>- God's Gun (Bad Boys Remix)<br>- We Ride Together, We Die Together (Bad Boys Remix)We're Dangerous People
Call of the Wild coming by Hollywood Records, that means, digital.Bloodshoot coming from Sony ClassicalCan confirm is in the albumavailable in nz itunes store. on the cover its correct now....motion picture score.What was Hansí role in the treatment of Mantovaniís ďCharmaineĒ. It sounds like the original, but cleaner, clearer, & without the limitations of 50/60ís recording technology. Iíve been fascinated by this piece for 25+ years, as it seems almost a precursor to Jarre & even Zimmerís electronic music, while being entirely orchestral. Links to info appreciated.
@Scorefan: You know what "Motion" means right? Motion picture = moving picture = movie. U either call it "Original Movie Score" or "Original Score from the Movie" or u call it "Original Motion Picture Score". But u can't say "Movie Picture" lol. Its just wrong or like Macejko said.. "a retarded mistake" ;-)@Maho: Dude I know why its stated "Score", but thats NOT the issue. What I'm talking about here is "Movie" which should be called "Motion".If you are interested, here is an interview with Otomo https://www.japantimes.co.jp /culture/2004/07/14/ films/film-reviews /the-master-behind-the-otaku/#.Xiix-P4zbctI like to make you in positive way aware of that "Time" has been blended with Charlie Chaplin's message to humanity (The Great Dictator) and thoughful added images in a video on youtube. If it is blocked due to disturbing pictures, please use a proxy to see it.But there is still a chances. Steve was suggested to Otomo by music supervisor Keiichi Momose and in an interview Katsuhiro mention that he really liked Jablonsky's work on Steamboy.<br><br>So, we may hope that Keiichi Momose will work on Orbital Era or Otomo rememberes Steve's music for Steamboy. Time will tell.
To be honest it's just my thoughts. But what are the chances that Otomo will choose Steve for his new work after really long brake (almost 15 years)?I would love for another animated score from Steve. Why is it almost impossible for him to score for Katsuhiro Otomo out of curiosity?I just saw this, EXTREMELY HAPPY!!!! he's so dope and talented apparently he's already done a few tracks cause the actor lewis tan sais he liked what he already heard.He is scoring to Mortal Kombat reboot movie, I saw that news from film music reporter, but mortal Kombat 1995 score was my favorite score.@Evenstar Original Movie Picture Score? lul. Usually it's called Motion Picture but ok.<br><br>No not always. I have a lot of scores where it is on the front of the booklet. Especially when an album with songs was released. So that the laypersons don't get confused, but still always manage not to look through, you can see on Amazon.

Ok...thanks Adrian, even if I haven't understood when you say: "they would have infos the minute they are infos"

Thn I've a question for you: the music that we can hear in the SH's trailer, is that Hans Zimmer's music?

Adrian reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-31 00:00:00
Don't excuse yourself, you're right... This site should go official, then they would have infos the minute they are infos :P

We do know the Sherlock Holmes score will be released by New Line Records (it was in a promotional ad of the label) but no other news at this point. I'm pretty sure it'll get a good release, it's a Hans Zimmer score and a Warner Bros. film!

Enrico reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-31 00:00:00
Yes Adrian I know, but I think that the Webmasters should know much more about HZ new projects!
I've read on anther website that James Horner has released an interview about his new CD Avatar...great news! But we don't know anything about SH! Excuse me but I think this...
Regards Enrico...

@ Miles..

seriously? I guess i'll just have to sing those madeup lyrics I have...lol

martine moscovitz reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-22 00:00:00
hello,
I just want to thank you Mr Zimmer for your fabulous music..
Especially this extraordinary solo violin at the end of the movie.
I felt already a great emotion with the orchestration during the first movie da vinci code and there I found it again but with the violin by josha bell and this feeling was so strong that I had tears. Thank you for this beautiful work.

Miles reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-22 00:00:00
In the the "Angels, Demons, & Men in Skirts" interview, Zimmer said that the lyrics for "160 BPM" are just made-up vocalizations to suit the needs of the music.

Not that I'm complaining; it's an awesome track on an awesome album...

160 BPM (Beats Per Minute)

fan reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-21 00:00:00
160 BPM is like Red Bull. Rest is a bit dissapointing (how could he end 503 in that moment?!?) but very listenable.
I'm giving 4/5 and hoping that Inception and Sherlock will rock.

carl reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-04 00:00:00
zimmer, YOU ROCK

really love your music. . . Angels&Demons was the best of the best. Hope you score the "Lost Symbol" movie, if they adapt the book to the screen.

but this score will always be your best

Thank you for your consideration...

To best of my knowledge enrico, hans never attended any formal music education. he has learned everything through collaboration nut studying books.

"making expanded score"... what does it mean ? Ripping DVD tracks ?

If it is the case, please come on ! Wait for a proper SFX-free version, even if it's a longer wait ! And do not waste your time making a CD with horrible sound quality, including gun sounds, people screaming, tires screeching etc... It really isn't qualitative.

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2009-09-11 00:00:00
ok, Daw, i already did the expanded score, i gave my best, i think its really good!!

but i think that, like 'the da vinci code', 'angels and demons' won't have the expanded score!!!

Enrico reply Replies: 0 || 2009-09-11 00:00:00
Ehi guys I've a question for you...I've red on Wikipedia that Hans Zimmer attended the Hurtwood House in UK...but please, read here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurtwood_House

Expecially this one:

"Hurtwood is renowned for having outstanding theatre and media departments, and at around £10,000 per term, is the most expensive school in the UK."

My question is: how did Hans to atend the most expansive school in England?!!! I've no idea!!! Was Hans rich when he was young? I don't know...
However great Hans!!!

Can't wait for expanded score. Although Arrival of Electors sound like Kingdom Of Heaven, its still cool track. Like many many others unreleased in Angels & Demons

oli reply Replies: 0 || 2009-09-10 00:00:00
luiszimmer: it's a really nice that you doing an expanded score!
The Arrival of teh Electors is a really really good track. It should be on the "Normal" score too! I love that song! ;)

luiszimmer reply Replies: 0 || 2009-09-07 00:00:00
I'm doing the expanded score.
It's a piece of work....
i already did these tracks:

01. Main Titles - The Empty Throne (03:52)
02. Antimatter - The Eye (04:53)
03. A Proposal to Langdon (03:59)
04. The Arrival of the Electors (01:05)

i hope i get these track as soon as it possible!
