I have a question about a song from this documentary that is not on the soundtrack. Could anyone please tell me the track at approximately 47:35? Thunder is cracking, Pantani begins his attack on the Galibier, and Matt Rendell is there with eloquent narration. I got so swept up in the score at this point that I spent over an hour rewinding and Shazaming and looking up all of Balfe, Aruj, and Dworetsky's music I cound fine. Any help would be much appreciated!<br><br>Thaks,<br>SamThey all sound the same. Bland.So what do you think about the westworld competition and what is your most favorite entry?In sound quality (regardless of what certain peope might say about how great LPs sound; it's an analog format) the bootleg already trumps it I guess...I have the same question as well
It could be possible, but there would be too many seconds of overlap between some of these tracks for that to be a possibility in this specific case. I really hope they haven't cut down the tracks to fit on vinyl, otherwise the bootleg will trump it in terms of content.Maybe the different time lengths is due to tracks slightly overlapping each other (as in many HZ soundtrack releases)?Comparing the track times listed here, it seems (at first glance) that many of the tracks are edited down from the complete cues as heard on the bootleg. Could the listed track times be simply incorrect, or have edits been made to make the score fit onto four sides? I guess we can find out when the record ships in July.<br><br>Additionally, for those without a record player it sucks that a CD release was not possible for La-La Land. Whatever the reasons are for that, it's a bizarre situation that one independent label can release the same material on vinyl but another cannot on CD. Quite perplexing...@Hybrid, will you make the Scoob Page?Perhaps "The Cistern (Alternate)" is the album version. The music I heard in the film is not 100% the same with the track I heard in the OST.
Dang I cant wait to hear the Alternate 'Cistern' cueVinyl only...How dumb can you getLol, you’re right! I though that was Rambo III climbing the cliffs for a moment.LLL made MI 1 Complete. So they are trying to make MI 2 Complete. That could move Varese to make MI 3 Complete. But studio (Disney) don't want it.Use the Wayback Machine on Archive.org - it's all there! :)
@Zimson<br>404 not found dudeWhy would a studio allow a vinyl release but no CD or digital release? That's utter nonsense. Almost like they're refusing to make money.Any clue on where to find this Complete Score?.. and people wonder why there's "bootlegs" out there...Next time, we can expect a wax cylinder release... :(

Gotta keep an eye on iTunes. The Apple guys often have exclusive tracks for Sony Classical albums.

True. Though I'd like one of those "special edition" albums more!

Skyler reply Replies: 0 || 2009-05-09 00:00:00
Oh, I see it now. When I posted my question there was nothing listed on here or IMDb regarding Tillman's involvement (and I don't have the physical CD booklet to use as reference yet)

I was starting to think that having to perform the Joker theme over and over might have caused him to reconsider working on another project with Hans... :)

So is it I60 BMP or 160 BPM? The track listings for the CD on Amazon say "I" whereas the downloadable version says "1"...

What are you talking about ?
Hans Zimmer Is The absolute leader of remote control.
Thank you !

Kusi reply Replies: 0 || 2009-05-09 00:00:00
@Cloud

I think it's 160 BPM, because in the booklet that's the trackname! :)

If you are a good musician, you can recognize 160 BPM rythm.

Sylvos reply Replies: 0 || 2009-05-09 00:00:00
"I" is "1" in a way, anyhow.

Enrico reply Replies: 0 || 2009-05-09 00:00:00
How can you have this score already?! It'll be released on 05/12/2009...I'm sorry if you download it...let develop music world with original CDs... ;-) Am I right?!

Dawn reply Replies: 0 || 2009-05-09 00:00:00
160 BPM
that's it !
Then the track name is based on the tempo of the song, definitely !

Kusi reply Replies: 0 || 2009-05-09 00:00:00
Here in Switzerland we've it already, I'm sorry, that's the truth! I'd better like to have a cd in my hands than a mp3 file on the hard disk! :-)

Enrico reply Replies: 0 || 2009-05-09 00:00:00
Yes...I agree with you Kusi!!! It's much better the original CD!!!

Adrian reply Replies: 0 || 2009-05-09 00:00:00
Netherlands is 11-05 hehe.. but thats the german (thats means also the swiss) version ''Illuminati''... The American version is 15th here...
The Illuminati version has a better cover in my opinion.

A free bonus track (about 2 minutes and titled "H2O," and not featured on the regular album) is available for download here: www.angelsanddemons.com/soundtrack/

I'm assuming that the title "H2O" refers to Water - it would make sense, judging by the other titles on the CD (Air, Fire).

Skyler reply Replies: 0 || 2009-05-09 00:00:00
If anyone's interested they should probably download it at their earliest convenience - I'm not sure how much longer it's going to be there for free

Maybe his dead.

Does anyone know what happened to Martin Tillman? Why was he not involved with this score?
He had such a prominent role in the Da Vinci Code and so I'm not exactly sure why he didn't return. It's also strange given that he and Hans just worked on Frost/Nixon and The Dark Knight.

Also, I wonder if the addition of Joshua Bell is at all related to this...

Leonor Antunes reply Replies: 0 || 2009-05-08 00:00:00
My favourite composer.
I really wish to work with him one day as soon as I'm a filmmaker.
He's my source of inspiration!
I'm sure I'm going to love "A&D" once I loved "The Da Vinci Code"!
It's impossible not to love Hans.. his soundtracks are always epic and speecheless.

Skyler reply Replies: 0 || 2009-05-08 00:00:00
At almost 2 minutes into "Air," Zimmer reprises his Pazzi theme from "Hannibal" - I knew we hadn't heard the last of that theme! So far this is my favorite track on the CD (although I haven't listened to the much-talked-about "Science and Religion" cue yet)

Very important! Yeah,sure. lol

Why do you need so in hurry this trailer sounding recycling mess with synth choir?

Thank you for not posting those kind of (bad) "joke" (maybe his dead) ; bad humour, not interesting sentence, do not use your fingers on your keyboard for such a poor quote.

Jenny reply Replies: 0 || 2009-05-08 00:00:00
OMG - I've just heard the entire soundtrack!
And I have to admit - WOW
The song "Science And Religion" it's wonderfull.
I mean, the entire soundtrack is wonderfull!

Why are you all being so mean! Maybe Martin Tillman was envolve in other projects and couldn't be present for this soundtrack... And adding Joshua Bell in this soundtrack was a great idea! I love violins and this ost is full of them!

New sound: I60 BMP, there is a reprise in "Fire". Themes from the CODE: The Cetrine Cross with all the variations, and Daniel's 9th Cipher with Joshua Bell... only the rhythm is faster and action cues, excelent!

Great soundtrack. "Science and religion" left speechless, as if it was wrote by angels. "Election By Adoration" and "503" are changes on DVC theme. The rest of the soundtrack is harder to listen without the movie but I bet that next week I'll adore the entire score^^

I love it.

Only Zimmer can go from The Da Vinci to This.

With 2 bones! It's shit, but enjoyable shit.

it makes "the kraken" and "why so serious" vivaldi pieces.

I love it!
