Air and Science and Religion from Angels and Demons, Heart of Davy Jones.Well, Alan Silvestri first did Captain America, then The Avengers. So it's not always people involved with Batman.Why is it always Batman composers who end up scoring films for different superhero characters? First Danny Elfman, now Hans Zimmer!Aye, many great masterpieces! Don't forget the instrumental Lion King score and the bittersweet anthem for Crimson Tide!It's probably Terraforming.
I'll always get chills when I listen to The Burning Heart from Hannibal. Such an under-appreciated cue in HZ's repertoire. Or To Every Captive Soul. I enjoy that love theme just a tad bit more than Marry Me. That in no way belittles Marry Me for me, it's one of HZ's best themes ever. Other ignored cues, I believe, are First Ideas from Frost/Nixon, The Banker's Waltz from Matchstick Men (and the whole score for that matter), and really the whole score to Two Deaths (granted, that one's hard to find).official webgame may contains a new score clip.<br>metropolismayhem.manofsteel.com/For me it depends on the style of the score - they would bug me in more "lyrical" scores (like Da Vinci Code, PotC 3), but they are great when it comes to the sheer force. :)+1 <br>"Marry Me" (and every reprise/variation of the Love Theme from AwE) is a wonderful piece of music. :)<br><br>... and don't forget "Show Me Your Firetruck" or "Journey To The Line". ;)Thank God! If there's one thing that bugs me it's synth horns. I don't mind electronics if they can add to the orchestra, but I'd prefer them not to replace it.
Thanks Hybrid! :) Yeah, lots of samples, but sadly there weren't any RCP-sampled french horns. Those are always epic... :-)Depends on the mood... ;)I know!!! The way the music kind of swelled when Gordon said, "They know. It was the Batman." and you saw them uncover the statue. There were manly tears, I tell you!I agree. Even though the last minute and a half was a blatant copy of the music used in the previous movie (see "A Watchful Guardian"), I for once didn't care (I usually hate it when a whole cue is copied exactly). The entire ending scene gets my emotions going every time. Especially when I saw it in the theater.I thought all the end music (basically the entire track "Rise") was just PERFECT. One of the biggest goosebumps i've ever had in a theatre (on par with Beckett's death in PotC) :p
Hybrid Soldier, since you're virtually famous, what Zimmer work is your favorite? :PAnd 9:11-14:12 in "Rocket Away" from the Rock! :DA favorite of mine that hardly anyone mentions is The Burning Bush from The Prince of Egypt. It really conveys the presence of God.I like the theme a lot, too, Ds, and it made perfect sense to use it when Batman showed up in the tunnel (my favorite part of the movie) and when he saved Blake from the thugs, but when Batman said, "This isn't a car", we had just heard it in the previous scene. And when Batman appears out of the exploding building at the end, it sounds really forced.You guys are right. These are all AMAZING themes. Moving and addictive!<br><br>I'd add "Hummel Gets The Rockets" from The Rock and "All Of Them" from King Arthur.

Where can it be found to download?

Epics2011-05-23 23:32:56
or you can send link or info to -- EDITED --

Dakota2011-05-23 23:51:28
This is nearly identical to the 27-track score. Sure, it has a few SFX here and there, but nothing serious. I've had in since June of 2009 - someone probably did a DVD-rip. But this would be nice to add to the collection, though. Someone will get their hands on it.

Epics2011-05-23 23:56:07
found it and it's official!

Evenstar2011-05-24 18:57:44
lol the score is available for free watertower-music.com/?p=4674

Falconet From Italy2011-05-24 23:07:03
Nice Score :)

Dakota2011-05-26 03:25:16
Evenstar, where did you get the "1m01, 1m02" from? They're not next to the track names on Watertower. They're usually marked with a complete score or recording sessions, which I don't think this is. Like I said earlier, it's nearly identical to the DVD-rip. I know they represent like the reel or something that the music is on, but does anyone actually know what they are?

Hybrid Soldier2011-05-26 07:49:04
It's in the Watertower files' tags...

Dakota2011-05-26 08:25:53
Ok then, Hybrid. Can you tell me if this is the complete score, or is this just your typical average "Original Motion Picture Score" release? And what DO the numbers and letters mean? Doesn't it have something to do with the reel that the music is on?

Hybrid Soldier2011-05-26 09:08:13
I assume it's complete, but I don't really know, not a Friday the 13th specialist... More a Nightmare on Elm Stree specialist ! ;)

And 1m1 is basically something like "reel 1, scene 1"...

Hybrid Soldier2011-05-26 09:35:14
Clay's First Stop => Pieter A. Schlosser
Broken GPS => Pieter A. Schlosser
Lakeside Machete => Pieter A. Schlosser
Calling The Police => Pieter A. Schlosser

The Bus => Jay Flood

Icce2011-05-26 11:19:32
1m1 is reel 1, cue 1. Not scenes!

Evenstar2011-05-26 19:28:41
Can someone of the teammembers (Hybrid?) add this score to the list? This is acutally the soundtrack topic, there need to be one for the score itself (since its leaked and available for free). ;)

Hybrid Soldier2011-05-26 20:42:47
I will, just waiting for some clarification from Watertower about the status of this... thing ! :)

Dakota2011-05-27 06:01:44
Ok, thanks Hybrid. That kinda makes sense now. So how about adding who did each track over at ANOES? You said you're an Elm Street expert, after all.

Hybrid Soldier2011-05-27 07:52:26
Give me a little time for Nightmare... ;)

Dakota2011-05-28 01:59:04
Thanks, Hybrid! When you add the official score for Friday the 13th, I also request that you edit who did each track, since you need to create a page for it. I feel like it would save you time, rather than someone else ask you later on down the line, if you know what I mean. And is this an expanded score, complete, or just an average commercial release?

Falconet From Italy reply Replies: 0 || 2011-05-24 23:09:44
Very Creepin Score!! i like this style :P

Dakota reply Replies: 1 || 2011-03-31 00:00:00
I think this is Steve's best horror score out of them all:

Amityville Horror
Texas Chainsaw & Texas Chainsaw Beginning
Friday The 13th
The Hitcher
A Nightmare On Elm Street

I love the main theme and how you can here it in several tracks

Evenstar2011-05-24 00:14:58
Texas Chainsaw & Texas Chainsaw Beginning is much better imo.

Recording sessions "almost like a promo" WTF? All of those versions are just lousy DVD rips, nothing even remotely "promo" or even "recording session"-y about it, lol.

SnakesInPantaloons reply Replies: 0 || 2010-08-16 00:00:00
I'm Posting A Recording Sessions.... It's Almost Like A Promo, But It's Decent

Dakota reply Replies: 0 || 2010-08-16 00:00:00
The 27-track is basically the same as this one. The only difference is that some of these tracks are put together, condensing it down to 27 tracks and not 38. Only "Skull In The Bathtub", "The Old Woman's House", and I think "Under The Dock" aren't included on the 27-track.

Al Bundy reply Replies: 0 || 2010-08-16 00:00:00
yeah these are just dvdrips with sfx

Hi,

I am looking for the same song where Amanda is taking off her clothes.

SJ Fan reply Replies: 0 || 2009-06-26 00:00:00
The song can be found (after Wade leaves Amanda and Ritchie by the campfire) but the score (when Amanda is taking off her clothes) is nowhere online. Not even in the bootleg version.

I hope this makes sense.

Please tell me what you mean.

I think that is part of the score before it turns into another song.
