Anyone know where those go?
@Knight
Yeah I really can’t argue there. As much as I love Mortal Engines even I have to admit that recording was kind of awful, particularly with the studio noise filtering through.Ditto on the recordings, Mortal Engines was awful in this regard with the harsh mix and on top of that, an unforgiveable amount of session noise/chatter.I’ve been giving this score a few more shakes lately, if only to see if my initial opinion had changed. The biggest issue for me is the lack of a strong set of themes. Alita’s Theme, for example, works well enough in context but hasn’t really left any impression on me. Mortal Engines has about 7 primary themes, all of which are really strong.

Where I will praise Tom the most is the recording. Everything sounds crisp and clear, as opposed to his usual overmixed style. Here’s hoping that he sticks with this type of recording from now on.
And one other plus, the woodwinds! It’s so refreshing to hear the woodwinds play a prominent role here, especially in the almost classical way they are utilized.It seems the Japanese exclusive tracks are available on deezer, but not on any other platform. And weirdly enough, I couldn't find any download link anywhere.
Lieber Herr Zimmer,

würde über Ihre kurze Meldung über mein Stück freuen.

Liebe Grüße
Irakli Shermazanashvili

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-FWQaMm4p8"BBC Studios has announced that Hans Zimmer, Jacob Shea and Jasha Klebe will compose the theme and score for the upcoming BBC Earth natural history series One Planet, Seven Worlds. The show is presented and executive produced by Sir David Attenborough and will reveal how each distinct continent has shaped the unique animal life found there. Each of the series’ seven episodes will transport viewers to a single continent and tell the story of its spectacular wildlife and iconic landscapes. Zimmer, Shea and Klebe have previously composed music for BBC’s Planet Earth II and Blue Planet II (for Bleeding Fingers Music). German TV Series "Der Pass" from Jacob Shea, Produced by Hans Zimmer?also was really good fantastic score IMHO his best since Mad Max.
Just saw the film Music was hitting on point in all the right spots.Don't know where else to put this... How much music did Hans + co. write for The Last Face? I know the movie flopped so it will probably never get released, but the 15 or so minutes that I've heard between YouTube and Andrew K's soundcloud is really pretty good. It's like Interstellar + The Lion King + Woman in Gold.Dear Hans Zimmer.

I have no idea if you ever read this, but i just want to thank you for all the amazing music you have create through the years.
You are truly a gifted man.
I hope you along your life had time to teach young talents so they will be able to create such amazing music as you in the future.
I dont know you, but i think you have a love for music and to experiment with music and be the best you can be.
I enjoy your music for movies and impressed how you created the music for "interstellar" with old fashion church ovel/pipes. I think this show you are great and special when you think out of the box and play and experiement with music due to creative talent.
( ps.. i cant even play an instrument my self, but i love your music ).

I wish you the very best, and peace and quiet during old age and hope you will continue to create music as long as you live. Please teach other talented young people to step in your place.

Thank you for everyting amazing work.

A fan ;-)7m4!!! The BEST cue from Hans since years!!!Whoa, that's right, I forgot a Gladiator sequel was being made. But I feel like something would have to shake Heaven and Earth before Hans worked on a Ridley Scott movie again. But then, Powell reunited with Greengrass for Jason Bourne (however uninspired that score was). So I guess anything's possible.
I got them from a japanse store after an hour going through hoops VPN paypal and google translate.

Very strange cause this are one of the best tracks of the entire score

Very weird the score or the movie havent attracted much attention at all.Hope Zimmer comes back to do Gladiator 2.Currently the only way I know to get it from is Japanese iTunes.well aren’t u special. it’s gonna leak so on account of so many ppl having it. myself included.Where can I listen to I see church?

I cannot find it anywhere and even YouTube doesn't have it.
So what's the story with this one? How did superstar film composer Hans Zimmer, in a year where he also produced the megablockbuster The Dark Knight, come to work on a Mexican comedy so obscure that its Wikipedia article only has one sentence and doesn't mention Hans at all? I guess I'm not surprised it never got released or even leaked cleanly, which is a shame as it's quite a nice score, sort of a spiritual sequel to Spanglish, and all we have is a crappy SFX-filled rip. But this one has always been a bit of a mystery to me...

I wish Hans would spend more time with independent movies instead of blockbusters.

Edmund Meinerts2017-11-08 13:05:47
I agree. Romantic comedies and light dramas are usually not a genre that provides a lot of great scores but Hans has such a good touch for them, his melodic sense really shines in scores like this, The Holiday, Spanglish, As Good as it Gets...

dirty_score2017-11-08 14:54:38
True, even if the movies are a bit fluffy, Hans can really knock it out of the park. I'm still waiting for a proper release of "Something's Gotta Give".

here you have a little part of the story

isildur2017-11-08 23:32:16
I think I remember reading that Hans only charged just one dollar for this movie. Don't know the whole story behind it though. And yes I also find this score quite enjoyable with a really catchy theme. Hans really has a good streak with Rom-Coms.

isildur2017-11-08 23:38:22
lol. I think that second article @Scorefan posted above talks about the dollar thingy "un dolar" I mentioned.

Hybrid, may we know the reason why this beautiful score never got a release? It has so many beautiful melodies :(

smitty2014-08-26 16:50:32
i don't know if you know it, but there is already a dvd-rip out there

Eleonora2014-08-27 14:16:44
yeah i knot it, but it's full with voices and sound-effects. it's totally annoying and doesn't let you enjoy the music when everywhere a door slams, or a car drives.

this music deserves a release :(

Darth2014-08-29 09:30:22
Hybrid: i would like to know aswell. The "Coming Soon" here is so old, i can't even remember when you've posted it.

Any chances for this?

zimmerish2014-08-30 11:33:57
hybrid doesn't care about you folks, so don't have hopes

Jock2014-08-30 14:39:24
Well, in that case, I gotta take a dump...

Wait a second - You don't really care, either.

Welcome to the Internet.

@ Jan-Lee,

thanks for the reply! well, it is possible to rip at worlds end, but compared to casi divas, pirates has a lot of SFX... in other words: it would be a complete hell to listen to a ripped pirates soundtrack because you would hear everythiing: screaming, sea, gun shots, swords and etc.
the advantage with movies like casi divas, is that the SFX is quite low. same with desperate housewives ;)
so im not going to rip pirates, because the sfx would dominate the music. we just have to hope for a promo surfacing!

jan-Lee reply Replies: 0 || 2009-05-21 00:00:00
Adriaan, thanks for ur rip its great, love it. I was wondering if u could do a complete score rip for hans zimmers At worlds end, there is so much music in that movie that needs to be heard properly

thanks

Jan-Lee reply Replies: 0 || 2009-05-20 00:00:00
Hey antas, i have this promo of casi divas, its has vert minor sfx. you can see the front cover and back cover with track list and duration, the scores total is 55.50, almost an hour. really good album in 320 kbps

Adriaan reply Replies: 0 || 2009-05-20 00:00:00
Wow... I never expected people would listen to my rips and take them seriously! But to be honest, this is a good rip (A)
The covers arent mine, I made others myself. For the final cut, I removed some tracks so that score came down to 26 tracks, with little over 40 mins.
This is the front cover I made:

Thanks...

Mescalito reply Replies: 0 || 2009-04-03 00:00:00
Hi Xinema... I called it CASI DIVAS END 01, and CASI DIVAS END 02... coz are two tracks in ONE THEME, but the first track is the THEME for the DIVAS, and the second theme is for the character performed by Ludwika Paleta... so, for your consideration... called it as you wish... (^^,)

Ximena reply Replies: 0 || 2009-03-31 00:00:00
Ximena:
There is no CD release (yet) from this movie, so there are no names either. You have to think name for it yourself!
