You're right Hybrid, remove this page, this abomination don't deserve a place here.No problem.Thanks so much!!!Nope, all you need is to go here:<br>https:// www.ascap.com /repertory#aceStupid question, but do you have to pay to gain membership into ASCAP before seeing cue credits?
Correct.Thanks! Just credits, though, I presume - no music files/sound?Dumb thing to rumour but okay...So Pinar Toprak didn't work on the Wonder Woman cue after all? That rumor was all over the place...If the time ever comes ;(

Was the scene originally supposed to be later in the film? I'd be curious to know.just beautiful

I wonder if they'll release some sort of 4 disc edition of the batman trilogy after the third one is made. Like they did with the pirate scores. Three discs with the original scores, then a 4th disc with bonus tracks (hopefully no remixs)

On the American itunes store they offer just the second disk for the standard price of ten dollars, so that you don't need to buy CD 1 again if you already have it.

This is James Gilks (owner of SerialKillerCalendar.com) personally I would love it if they took the idea of the Riddler to a very dark extreme. His character is very close to real life serial killers like David Berkowitz (the son of sam) and the Zodiac Killer. Many serial killers (including Jack The Ripper and The Red Spider) have sent letters to the police and the Zodiac killer sent cryptograms (which where in essence a type of riddle). I think that if Hollywood is willing to take these films to the gritty dark side of real life, they should focus more on this angel and abandon the tacky jump suit wearing, cartoon aspect that Jim Carey brought to the screen. I would love to see a down right evil and twisted serial killer side to the Riddler.

I also believe that they are setting up The Mad Hatter for a future movie. If you watch carefully, Batman says that the man Dent is interrogating in The Dark Knight (the creepy smiling guy from the ambulance) is named "Jervis Tetch". This is The Mad Hatter.

Lastly, I would love to see all these films come together in to a plot that involves Arkham Asylum. There have been many amazing graphic novels that focus on this (especially "A Serious Place on Serious Earth"). This would be a perfect opportunity for the writers to place Batman against not only a huge cast of badies but also against his own troubled mind.)

Well, thats just the opinion of someone who runs a company devoted to selling serial killer merchandise so you can take it or leave it. I hope you can all stop by SerialKillerCalendar.com to pick up some morbid merch (including the new Serial Killer Magazine, Serial Killer Trading Cards and Serial Killer Action Figures. I know, its a shameless display of self promotion but really, I have to justify reading up on Batman Movies while I am supposed to be working somehow.

Does anyone know where to find the cue used in the third Dark Knight trailer that starts when harvey says, "rachel's told me everything about you" and keeps going through when Maggie says, "don't make me your only hope for a normal life"?

DemonStar reply Replies: 0 || 2009-01-05 00:00:00
I'm afraid Zimmer can't do anything about that, Mattie :(

It is Disney Records who hold the rights and since they have a policy of no-expanded-score-release-ever, wonderful scores like PoTC and Lion King have been so far injustly denied the expanded releases they really deserve.
But let's keep our hopes up for a bootleg/promo!

Mattie reply Replies: 0 || 2008-12-30 00:00:00
Mr Zimmer,

If you can release a 2 CD Score for The Dark Knight so soon after the Film and the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, what about Pirates of the Caribbean?

These scores (especially Dead Man's Chest) are surely some of the most well known that you have ever done?

I (and many, MANY others) think that you should release a box set (simliar to the recent Lord Of The Rings, Superman and Indiana Jones sets) for Pirates.

The other "Soundtrack Treasures Collection" was ok, but apart from the few suites, it was just the same old re-hashed soundtracks that have been previously released.

Please think seriously about this. It could make you a lot of money, and possibly expand your fanbase even more!

Regards
Mattie

This is a great score, but I wish they wouldn't have cut "A Watchful Guardian" short but included the entire end credits instead. However, I guess in the song you can still hear the break from film to credits, so you could probably just record the music from the credits, cut the second half or so out of "A Watchful Guardian", and splice them together.

blabus reply Replies: 0 || 2008-12-22 00:00:00
I searched all over the web and noticed that there's no decent quality cover art available for the album, so I reconstructed it from scratch in Photoshop.

Here is the link for anyone who wants it:

http://rapidshare.com/files/175809176/dark-knight-2-disc-cov er.jpg

The image is 1000px x 1000px.

Let me know if you like it! (I made a few small modifications to it, such as making the really small text a tad bit bigger).

I wouldn't mind having a fan edit - in chronological order, just so I can have it I guess.. Soem fan edits have been pretty well done in the past. Waiting for a truly complete score (official) may never happen.. Anyone have a rough idea of which tracks go in what order at the moment?

Dawn reply Replies: 0 || 2008-12-13 00:00:00
I don't see the point in having badly cut tracks just to "mimic" a complete score in chronological order.
What you'll get in the end is "another" useless fan made fake complete score that will add even more confusion to all the "expanded scores" business. I'd say 75% of the expanded releases of any score of HZ you find on this site is poorly fanmade stuff.
Let's wait for a "true" complete score, and try not to create another "original fake not-so-complete score in chronological order made by fans". If you want to get your music in chronological order, this is your right, but try not to share it everywhere on the internet !

Someone needs to make a complete score in chronological order as the tracks are in suite and the cues are different. ############

ahh eff it
lol
its to complicated, besides the songs from the 2cds are all kind of sync, as the first track ends immediately the second track stars i mean they are like connected
