Oh, come on. Just listen to the score, and if you hear a solo violin, that's Joshua Bell. If you really need pointers, start with the cue "503", which is also the end titles. It's basically a remix of "Chevaliers de Sangreal" at a slightly faster pace and with Bell over the top.Did he watch any of the other Superman Movies he didn't score? Oh wait those movies still kept to his standard... <br><br>I don't see what the big deal is. He should be aware of the reboot phenomena by now and it's a different animal from his.<br> <br>TOTALLY different animal.I saw that article too, but it's misleading. The reason he says it'll be hard to watch is NOT the music, but rather because of Chris Reeve no longer playing Superman.<br><br>Good news about Star Wars, though!blog . zap2it . com/pop2it/2013/05/man-of-steel-will-be-hard-for-me-to-see-s ays-superman-composer-john-williams.html<br><br><br>I don't think he should be worried, there's only one Master in film music.I heard somewhere that Vidal now works in HGW's old studio, is that true?<br><br>Also, more to the point, is the score from FF6 going to get a release? The movie's already out and I haven't heard anything, which is making me a little nervous. I really like Vidal's scores (Cold Light of Day was excellent) and this is his biggest movie yet so I'm interested to hear it, especially if he actually keeps continuity with Tyler's themes. A different composer keeping the previous themes? I must be dreaming!
Thank you! :) I'm actually not really that sure about Lorne's specific credit (it could be "musical consultant") - but I'm sure it isn't "additional music". <br><br>I'm curious about the situation with this one, because it sounded like one of those "complicated scores" (and I don't mean a bad score - just a last minute rewrite, or something like that - the score itself is actually quite enjoyable). It borrows heavily from Brian Tyler's material for last two movies (mainly Letty's and the "family" theme) and it also features quite a few temp-track inspired cues (Mombasa, Time), but of course that's not a fault of a composer. :)Hybrid, can you tell me which tracks feature Joshua Bell as solo violin?I'm not pretty sure...im pretty sure A123 said it will be on the 25thDamn... ;-)
Lol, of course not...<br>it's just a stupid joke from some blokeany leak at 8:00 ? ^_^Vidal is quite linked to RCP indeed. Bruce Fowler orchestrated some of his movies.<br><br>Lorne "technical assistant" ? You sure ? No way, he wouldn't lose time on a film like that as tech assistant. Music consultant why not. This just looks like a credit to hide his true role. I'll do a little enquiry about that... :Pthis is going to be an intense(ly satirical) film.Just a little offtopic - does anyone know something about Lorne's/RCP involvement in Fast & Furious 6? There's a bunch of RCP credits (Lorne Balfe as technical assistant, Gavin Greenaway as conductor) in end titles of the movie + the whole score sounds quite "RCP-ish" in some places (it even features a few samples from the RCP sample library). Thanks! :)
Anybody else hear Curse of the Black Pearl in the first fifty seconds of "I Claim Your Sun"?Hybrid, any info on who did what?thank you very much my friend i really appreciate that :)i hope this is good :DGuitwo, here it is. Crappy quality though:<br><br>/watch?v=yhov2VdhbzA

hey anybody know where i can find the tdk cue from where two-face is threatening maroni in the limo? it sounds like the beginning of 'like a dog chasing cars'.... it's not on any official or unofficial album...

Mike2013-02-14 23:38:56
I know this is an awfully late reply, but it's 2:00 onwards in "Sonar System" in the complete score. :P

Somebody made the point a while ago that Introduce a Little Anarchy was modeled after Train Fight...Did anyone notice that Buyer Beware was modeled after Artibeus?

Eduardo reply Replies: 5 || 2012-11-01 20:55:23
Hey,
Does anyone know where I can find a copy of this score edition?
I would really like to have this edition, because I love the movie and the soundtrack

Yeah, you can buy it pretty much anywhere. I got mine off Amazon.

Poe2012-11-02 18:49:08
The CD edition is out of print, perhaps that's what Eduardo was referring to?

Mike2012-11-02 20:28:07
When did that happen? I got mine around October 2011.

Adriaan2012-11-03 21:02:37
Dude, indeed, someone is charging 999,99$... Really crazy. Guess I just made like 950$ buying it... Mike, you too, we're rich!

Here's to hoping they'll release a second CD of music for Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises like they did for this movie! *downs drink*

Like below, I too am looking for a rough film-playing order for this. I don't care for seeking out bootlegs, but this is a great package and wanted to know how to order the tracks into more or less the right sequencing. Thank you.

MGDrone2012-06-19 01:18:50
If you don't want to do any editing at all, then it should roughly go like this:
Why So Serious?*
I'm Not A Hero
Bank Robbery
Buyer Beware
Harvey Two-Face*
Blood On My Hands
Aggresive Expansion
You're Gonna Love Me
I Am The Batman
Chance
A Little Push
Always A Catch
Decent Men In An Indecent Time
You Complete Me
Agent of Chaos
And I Thought My Jokes Were Bad
The Ferries
Like A Dog Chasing Cars*
Introduce A Little Anarchy
We Are Tonight's Entertainment
Watch The World Burn
A Watchful Guardian
A Dark Knight*
*These are obviously the theme suites for the movie. The movie should start with Bank Robbery and end with A Watchful Guardian, but for a better listening experience, that's how I have them. Except for Like A Dog Chasing Cars, I put it at the end before A Dark Knight since really only the first minute or so is in the movie. I honestly couldn't think of a logical place to put Halfway to Hong Kong since it's an unused alternate, so that's up to you. This is obviously a really rough order since some cues were put together out of order, but this is really the best that can be done. Hope it helps :)

Leonardo2012-06-19 01:57:13
Thank you MGDrone. I do not mind doing some editing. I appreciate this much but do you have a kind of edited version order instead? Again thank you.

MGDrone2012-06-28 00:34:22
Hey Leo, sorry it took me so long to respond. I had to check the movie and listen carefully to the soundtrack just to be sure I wasn't missing anything, but here it is:

Decent Men In An Indecent Time - 1:55-End
Bank Robbery - 0:00-5:18.5
Why So Serious - 9:11.5-End
I'm Not A Hero - 0:00-1:40
Bank Robbery - 5:18.5-End
Buyer Beware
Blood On My Hands
I'm Not A Hero - 1:40-2:40.5
Aggressive Expansion - 0:43-1:59
I'm Not A Hero - 2:40.5-End
Harvey Two-Face - 1:50-3:20
You're Gonna Love Me - 0:00-0:59
Aggressive Expansion - 1:59-End
You're Gonna Love Me - 0:59-End
I Am The Batman
Chance - 0:00-1:23.5
A Little Push
Chance - 1:23.5-End
You Complete Me - 3:55-End
Always A Catch - 0:00-0:45
Decent Men In An Indecent Time - 0:00-0:49
You Complete Me - 0:00-1:37
Agent of Chaos
You Complete Me - 1:37-3:55
Ferries - 0:00-0:59
And I Thought My Jokes Were Bad
Ferries - 0:59-End
Like A Dog Chasing Cars*
Introduce A Little Anarchy
We Are Tonight's Entertainment
Watch The World Burn
A Watchful Guardian

*This is definitely NOT the film version because in the film it cuts off at about 2:02 but here it continues in it's suite-like version. You'll know what I mean if you listen to the film version of the end credits. You could do three things: leave it the way it is; cut it at 2:02 although it will not sound right or match the film version; get the film version of the end credits and copy and edit it from there.

As you can imagine, this is quite rough. The minute marks aren't exactly where the should be, you'll probably have to adjust that a bit. A lot of these tracks are not the film versions, but they're essetially the same. Also, a whole lot of tidbits of music are repeated several times throughout the movie, and I didn't repeat them here since it would end up being a less interesting listening experience. Hope you enjoy :) Btw, what program do you use to break and and put together tracks?

Gav reply Replies: 7 || 2011-01-30 00:00:00
Does anyone know -- roughly, as I know some cues are mixed together -- what order I can put these into that resembles the film order? I like listening to my scores in order in WinAmp :)

mr ed2011-08-25 20:09:59
i would also like to know this. anyone pleaseeeeeeeee? :D

better then the recording sessions? ehm, okay?

Samir Aziz2012-04-09 16:33:06
Hi,all of you; the 2cd special edition the names of tracks are impressive because you noticed the tracks don't matched with the current movie actions,Hans.Z take some says from the movie and named the tracks like decent men in indecent time and chance, but the complete score tracks names describe every action in the movie correctly,i wish you understand me !

Between this release and the commercial release for TDK, there's about 25 minutes of music that is reused from unreleased parts from the BB score.

@Alera2

I think that posting links on Chief Dundee's blog (or other blogs of course) is probably what killed the bootleg business. Bootlegging is an "undercover", "not-a-word-about" business... and not a marketplace where you download anything for free, screaming "I have this stuff, I can send it to everybody" !!!
I know for sure that there is something like 15 to 25 true MV/RC complete unreleased scores available for "good bootleggers", but they won't let them leak/spread on the internet because of guys like Chief Dundee, because he will immediately kill the value of the music itself.

And this is really frustrating...

Rory is the name of Chris Nolan's daughter not son.

rory's first kiss was a cover name for the dark knight film. christopher nolans son is named rory

Where did you get the alternate 2CD score from, and does it have any fx ?

Also you should post a link on Cheif Dundee 's site

I wonder if they'll release some sort of 4 disc edition of the batman trilogy after the third one is made. Like they did with the pirate scores. Three discs with the original scores, then a 4th disc with bonus tracks (hopefully no remixs)

On the American itunes store they offer just the second disk for the standard price of ten dollars, so that you don't need to buy CD 1 again if you already have it.

This is stupid - pay twice for the same CD 1.
