More like Hans had the idea to leak it and then got five different Magic Box composers to upload each file individually.MTV Trailer Music original? original version pleaseeeeOh, I know. But wouldn't it be a funny story if it was? XDSo basically HZ leaked them himself in an act of generosity towards his beloved fans? :p"Maybe some disgruntled RC employee quit and rage-uploaded all of them"<br><br>LOL I can assure you it's not what happened ! :)
It's been an absolutely amazing year for leaked complete scores in general! I have a huge backlog of them that I haven't even gotten around to listening to yet. Maybe some disgruntled RC employee quit and rage-uploaded all of them. :p<br><br>But...hasn't the complete Pearl Harbor been around for ages?(-(-):(--(:) SOONGoodness, so many HZ scores leaked this week. In fact, its been a good year or so for HZ fans (as far as leaked scores haha). I wonder what happened all of a sudden. Definitely hoping for more in the next couple of months. Maybe Pearl Harbor or Hannibal will come soon. At least, thats what I hope haha.Is the choir music part of the score? And I really liked the music in the last ten seconds of the video.Probably to get it to CD quality. They sound as clean as the album tracks to me.
This is something I feel needs to be dragged up in light of the full score becoming available.<br><br>I'm inclined to believe this doesn't exist. No evidence has ever surfaced for it. The so-called "Original opening" was supposed to have been included on earlier bootlegs but I can find no mention of it beyond here and the one mention on filmtracks.<br><br>So, IF the FYC exists AT ALL, it was likely to be the sessions, just without the songs (because the sessions that leaked... those songs are clearly from the albums - I am curious to know where he got the reel info for them from). I'd love to be proven wrong, but I don't think I ever will. If it does exist, the sessions themselves supplant the FYC by a mile, and IF it does exist, then those who hold the sessions proper (not the ones that leaked with the songs) also have a cue that has not seen the light of day: the Mufasa's Dead piece that is highlighted above.<br><br>I'd still love to see who did what with regards to the film, and I still think there are some interesting alternates. In the Special Edition, I seem to recall Zimmer stating he wrote four hours worth of music, and although I don't think that was all translated into actual cues, I'd be surprised if a great deal of the ideas went unused, or did get used but are still unreleased (like the film versions of Scar's Dinner and Sunrise at Pride Rock). Hell, there may even be material for M8 and M16 given that the film's script went through several pre-release revisions.One has to wonder though why the FLAC version was downsampled. This means the quality is not as good as it could be, right?Any verfication that the version of Circle of Life shown here actually exists at all? With the sessions, it's easy to replicate the rest of the material but I'd be inclined to believe that "Circle of Life" is just the instrumental version with the film version's interlude or something.The FLAC is 44kHz. So whoever did the conversion did it right this time.i havent heard that theme in ages...imma check it out
O-cool, this is indeed VERY cool :)featurette with new music(choir!)<br><br>www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=rtcEtDDqvu8Well I mean ''Looking Into Limbo (Alternate)''Untitled track # 1 it's very similiar like MementoThese files come from a 48Khz source. What is the sampling rate of the flac version?

My apologies, after seeing the film again, I believe "Blood on My Hands" may play during Harvey's introduction, and the first part of "Harvey Two-Face" plays during Dent's speech. I think Peter is right. Sorry again.

It's a MILESTONE!!!

For Hans Zimmer, the dark knight represents a failure to perform up to expectations. This score lacks the personal voice that ultimately ties it to its movie - there are not many characteristics that say “the dark knight” - I just feel “dark action film”. His music would have benefited from a more thematic approach.

Bzzz, wrong answer! "Blood on My Hands" does not play when Harvey meets Gordon. That part is from "Harvey Two-Face."

If you can't find how dramatic & masterpiece is this score then you don't know anything about music

Hans Zimmer is my favorite composer. I really loved the OST of the gladiator and king Arthur those were really jewels. The Dark Knight i didn't hear the complete OST but the part that you can download. It was much the same sound, only number 8 sounded exception good.

sorry Hans, but I hoop that i am wrong and the whole cd sounds as number 8.

Michael reply Replies: 0 || 2008-08-04 00:00:00
Yea, I'm putting Harvey Two-Face in as Track 3. It fits well after I'm not a hero... and flows well into Aggressive Expansion for track 4.

Bullo reply Replies: 0 || 2008-08-03 00:00:00
A very strong and sink score, but I like it ! The strings are superbly used and Hans Zimmer offers a dynamic music, as usual.

Batman begins was boring,
hoping that the dark knight was going to be less boring, I took a chance and saw it today and it's even more boring !
I almost fell asleep in the theater for god sake !
Extremely disappointing !!!

What is the song that plays at the very end of the movie just as the credits are about to start?

peter reply Replies: 0 || 2008-08-02 00:00:00
blood on my hands actually plays when Gordon meets dent and continues in the following scene at the Wayne building.

lank14 reply Replies: 0 || 2008-08-01 00:00:00
"Harvey Two-Face" is basically a suite, and the first part is really the only piece in the film. Most of that part plays during Harvey's introduction in the courtroom with Maroney.

It 's done. I have just received the cd I bought with Amazon. It sounds great. Purshase original versions is really the most honest way to appreciate the whole work of composers because electronic sounds are excellent.

Thanks Sentient Being, you helped get my tracks in order... but I think a few are misplaced. I could be completely wrong too, but here's how I have my tracks listed:
1 - Why So Serious - Opening
2 - I'm Not a Hero - Hong Kong
3 - Aggressive Expansion - Joker attacks
4 - Always a Catch - ?
5 - Blood on My Hands - Bruce and Rachel theme
6 - I Am The Batman - Dent confesses
7 - Agent of Chaos - Rachel/Dent - Rescue attempt
8 - Harvey Two-Face - Aftermath of explosions, visits of Dent at hospital, Bruce mourns, Coin delivered.
9 - And I Thought My Jokes Were Bad - Bruce saves Reese and Hospital Evacuation
10 - Like a Dog Chasing Cars - Batman/Hostages/Swat
11 - Introduce a Little Anarchy - 2nd part of Hostage rescue and reaching the Joker
12 - A little push - Final talk of Joker w/ Batman

A Little Push contains the theme of fear or intimidation, used in BB when Batman faces the gang for the first time and when he faces Scarecrow for the second time.

By the way, Michael, good work, but I remember the middle part (the bombastic one) in Harvey Two-Face having taken place during the Maroni and the Russians arrest, although it was cut in the movie. However, it is possible some portions of this track appear during the scenes of Harvey in hospital.

A Sentient Being had the tracks right. I saw the film for a second time and was able to fill in the missing tracks.

"I Am the Batman" plays when Alfred is explaining to Bruce that some men "just want to watch the world burn."

The first part of "Always a Catch" plays right after The Joker gets out of the turned semi as Batman races towards him.

lank14 reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-31 00:00:00
"Bllood on My Hands" plays when Dent is giving his speech about the dawn coming, right before he confesses.

Brandon reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-31 00:00:00
I am trying to find the name of the music that plays during the Batman and Joker interrogation scene. It also plays when Joker is talking two face in to joining the dark side. I think it also plays at the end, when the joker reveals that Harvey was his "Ace in the Hole" It is a very soft bell or xylophone sounding bit. It is very quiet, but sounds awesome. Can anyone help me out?

Michael reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-31 00:00:00
Thanks for the follow ups! I will continue to play around a bit more.... especially reording the ALways A catch to play farther up.

lank14 reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-31 00:00:00
Brandon, I believe the piece you're look for is played in the first track "Why So Serious?" It plays towards the end of the track and is very low.

Michael reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-31 00:00:00
Ok So Blood on My Hands would be labelled - as Dent giving speech, saying goodbye To Rachel before getting into the prisoner transport.

Michael reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-31 00:00:00
I'm still not sure about Harvey 2-Face track. I'd have to see the movie again. I can't picture where it best fits in the film.

It has been more then 10 years since my very 1st Hans Zimmer "The Rock" cd. At present I own more then 50 Hans Zimmer soundtrack. Been a big fan of his, I must say not every of the soundtrack of nice. I can listen to 100 times of The Rock and maybe just once of the other not so nice one. And due to hectic work and other lifestyle, I have neglected the much of Hans Zimmer works since the superb last samurai. I watched the dark knight and was blow away by the music. It sounded zimmerish was what I strongly felt during the credits. Due to Dark Knight I enthusiastically search for Hans Zimmer news and that was what bring me to this website for the very 1st time. True enough it is Hans Zimmer work!! Rush down the next day afterwork to HMV to find it. OUT OF STOCK. Was very glad when found it in borders. The soundtrack is EXCELLENT and definitely belongs to one of Hans Zimmer BEST work. A pity I didnt watch Batman Begins last time, else will have definitely get the CD. Now cant find it in CD stores. I have listen to many soundtracks including Video game music. Hans Zimmer is definitely someone who can tickle your emotions Up and Down and all around with his music.

Someone....please......I can't find the track title for the End Credits.... Can someone help me find the track title?? I know very well it is NOT in track 14-A Dark Knight. Starts like how Batman Begins' End Credits but it's abit different than Batman Begins.

A Sentient Being reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-30 00:00:00
The end credits has the beginning from BB, something like Star Wars always having the same End Credits opening in each episode. The opening of the TDK End credits is the same as in BB End credits, but in TDK it is followed by The Dark Knight cue.

Ladies and Gents,

The Dark Knight is fantasitic.

"Your" sound has come a long way from the days of the original Bad Boys soundtrack with Mr. M Mancini amongst others that I could mention that you have been a part of in the many soundtracks in my collection.

Well done.

I am off to the shops to buy my copy.

Best Regards,

Loved this Soundtrack. the Batman Begins soundtrack is the prelude to this score. But this one pounds you with the chaos and emotion.

From begining to end this soundtrack owns. It's a Dark Knight indeed.
