He is scoring to Mortal Kombat reboot movie, I saw that news from film music reporter, but mortal Kombat 1995 score was my favorite score.@Evenstar Original Movie Picture Score? lul. Usually it's called Motion Picture but ok.<br><br>No not always. I have a lot of scores where it is on the front of the booklet. Especially when an album with songs was released. So that the laypersons don't get confused, but still always manage not to look through, you can see on Amazon.Mark Mancinas Score for the First - Good!<br>Trevor Rabin for the second - Fantastic Great Action Score I LOVE IT! Steve Jablonsky work too on it! The Dr. Dre Music in this too..<br><br>Lorne Balfe to the third - meeehhh buuuuhhh!!<br>======================<br><br><br>I agree about the first two scores. They're very different but equally as good. I know that some people are critical of the BB2 score (because it basically ignores the BB1 sound) but I love it. I think Rabin and Jablonsky did an amazing job.<br><br>As for Lorne' score.....I have to disagree. I think it's great. Granted, my opinion is based only on what I heard in the movie (haven't heard the entire album) but I really like what he did. Clearly it was done with love. I mean, the Bad Boys 1 score is one of the reasons why Lorne became a film composer. So the BB3 score wasn't a "rush job". He clearly put an effort to it. I'm looking forward to the entire album.Comes out this Friday :)Still hope that Katsuhiro Otomo will reunites with Steve for his new anime, even if it's almost impossible.

Deepwater Horizon contained some pretty cool cues so I'm definitely in for another Berg/Jablonsky collaboration.I’m assuming the first track is the end credits sequence? Lorne confirmed the end credits are included... and they are awesome.The score is getting release by Paramount Music, in other words, digital and same day as the movie opens (31th January)
Any news on if we get an album for The Rhythm Section?I wish to see you in concert in Poland it is so close to Germany and i think that you have many fans heere :)Booklet credits:<br><br>NIMEPATA UPENDO<br><br>Performed by The Mully Children’s Family Choir<br>Choir Director: Dickson Mulli<br>Lyrics by Scott Haze, Carol Wilhelm & Mercy Waitherero Macharia<br>Music by The Mully Children’s Family Choir and Benjamin Wallfisch<br><br><br>LOVE WILL BE YOUR SHELTER<br><br>Written by Siedah Garrett and Benjamin Wallfisch<br>Vocals: Siedah Garrett <br>Orchestra: Macedonian Radio Symphony<br>Produced and Mixed by Benjamin Wallfisch<br><br>Music Composed and Produced by Benjamin Wallfisch<br><br>Executive Producer: Robert Townson<br><br>Score Orchestrated by Arturo Rodriguez, Benjamin Wallfisch<br><br>Featured Vocalist: Tori Letzler<br><br>Guitars: Owen Gurry<br><br>Synthesizer Programming: Steve Davis, Evan Goldman<br><br>Cello Solos: Tim Hugh<br><br>Violin Solos: Stephanie Gonley<br><br>Orchestra: The Chamber Orchestra of London<br><br>Orchestra Contractor: Gareth Griffiths<br><br>Orchestra Conductor: Geoff Alexander<br><br>Score Recorded by Steve Price <br><br>Assistant Engineer: Alex Watson<br><br>ProTools Recordist: Chris Parker <br><br>Music Preparation: Jill Streater<br><br>Score Recorded at Angel Studios, London<br><br>Score Mixed at Mirai Sevens <br><br>Score Mixed by Satoshi Noguchi<br><br>Score Mix Assistant: Coleen Lutz<br><br>Score Technical Assistant: Max Sandler<br><br>Mastered by Patricia SullivanMahatma sisaGgrAmayiSu ...almost sure that first line is " Mah&#257;tm&#257; sisaGgrAmayiSu " in Sanskrit: "great soul wishing to start a war"<br>
Nah, it's just a retarded mistake.LOL@Evenstar maybe just to make a difference from maybe cues with rap or another kind of music that serves as additional score for the movie. For example Bad Boys 2 has Trevor Rabin and many composers as additional music but that's the composer music. Dr. Dre. write additional music but that was rap remixes. So, that's why i think the take movie picture score instead motion picture score.Yep, i think it was in the movie 2 times, first the motorcycle chase scene, second the action scene in the endDamn I knew I heard some MW2 in the score! Glad I'm not alone. :D

"Does anyone hear any choral work in this release or Body of Lies?"

"Kill No Cop" has some choral bits, and some unreleased cues do as well.

Does anyone hear any choral work in this release or Body of Lies? There is a small choir ensemble listed in the booklet.

somebody should write to marc streitenfeld or the movie comapny and say that people around the world want a more complete score. this isnt the first time, body of lieas and hannibal also got som realy amazing soundtracks wich isnt in the orginal score or in bootlegs

Dawn reply Replies: 0 || 2009-01-19 00:00:00
Lasse, why looking for a fake bootleg as it is... well... fake ?
And bootlegs, as they are bootlegs, have pretty unpredictable "releases" : sometimes they appear before the commercial CD, sometimes it is 3 months later, sometimes 10 years later... and sometimes they even get lost in the limbos of years...
You can't predict anything. And by the way, you cannot rip the music only from a DVD, you always get all the sound effects with it.

I thought there was like 50 minutes of score? Not this 39 minute score. Ugh oh well, the score is really unique.

Kaya reply Replies: 0 || 2008-02-20 00:00:00
I'm gonna buy it anyway because I think the score is great no matter how little of it there is. I bet it's the same stuff we have on the unofficial promo release, but you still gotta show support.

Gravel reply Replies: 0 || 2008-02-18 00:00:00
I agree with Kaya, It seems very short on playing time, I can't see the value in adding this to my collection.

It's amazing to see that they're feilling the CD with source music instead of the score. hehehe

Kaya reply Replies: 0 || 2008-02-07 00:00:00
I still can't believe how little score is here. I read somewhere he recorded like 118 minutes for this movie or something.
