I got the deluxe version via iTunes and didn't really notice it. The only time I experienced that was in "This is Clark Kent". The main part was a little too quiet, then the end was mega-loud.I bought the two-disc, limited edition version of the soundtrack and it seems the volume leveling is quite low. I have to turn up the volume quite high to hear the full score. Has anyone experienced this or could this be a coding issue on my copy? I have not yet listened to it with headphones, only in my car at this time. Thanks. The Rango suite is intensely enjoyable, in my opinion.Indeed, there is a "previous Verbinski" vibe to it. I'm looking forward to this score. I just wish we knew more about it!Epic track!!!!!! Hans Zimmer!! God!!
Hi ! I have a litte question.
Is the 2 discs edition is the same in Europe and USA or the package is a little bit different ? Thanks for answering ;-)Okay this has definitely a PotC vibe, with a little bit of Rango at the end.OOPS! It's this one... :)
comicbookmovie.com/ fansites/nailbiter111/news/?a=81808Here is a short clip of the movie (fast forward toward the end). Included is a short snippet of Zimmer's score.

comicbookmovie.com/ fansites/BatFreak/news/?a=81817I would love this. I would like to set up a performance for choir and synths (hopefully adding handbells, harp and percussion.)
Hi,

I was wondering if your team was in need of a Modular Moog technician in the LA area. I have serious credentials, available on request. I do have a much wider range of electronic music equipment expertise as well.

You can contact me at info@showmetheanalog.com

Thanks,
GeneYeah everybody is still talking about Man Of Steel. It's old new already. On to the Lone Ranger :)Excellent... as always! :)Into The West (2005), Geoff Zanelli (2-CD) (Score-CD)
Auf 3000 Stück limitierte Doppel-CD
Infos vom Label: "Paramount Music and La-La Land Records will release a soundtrack album for the mini-series Into the West. The album features the Emmy Award-winning score composed by Geoff Zanelli (Disturbia, The Odd Life of Timothy Green). Paramount Music will distribute the digital version of the soundtrack, with La-La Land Records handling the physical release. The 2-disc album will be released on June 18, 2013.Honestly it's not impossible that the movie AND the score are both worse than Battleship... The good point is that expectations are pretty low, we may end up very surprised :-)
Few things are, Tom, few things are. ;)Let us hope, that this won't be as bad as Battleship...Not quite sure I share your enthusiasm, Hybrid... It sounds kinda I feared it'll sound. I hoped for a big orchestra, but this is more "Person of interst" kind of score, apparently. Still impatiently waiting for the whole thing, though. Samples are often misguiding.Yeah but digitally it's still Disney, isn't it?The Intrada release will be out in late July, maybe that's why...

as a music lover, i liked the movie.......... i liked the way the kid Evan Taylor(as known in the movie) listens all the voices n noises that he hears n transformed it into music. the director or the story writer as i would say must be a great music lover. this is for the director of the movie.......... "way to go dude" keep doing this n u will be on the top within no time.

Hans did NOT compose anything... :)

KB reply Replies: 0 || 2009-01-31 00:00:00
Actually, the only thing composed by Hans Zimmer on the soundtrack was the Main Theme, which was Mark Mancina as well. I think he was also a music supervisor, but I don't remember for sure. What has been driving me mad is who wrote the Rhapsody?!? It doesn't say in the movie credits, and he album on iTunes says it is composed by "August Rush". Big help.... Shame, because that was a magnificent piece and I would have loved to look up the artist's other works. How is it that no one claims the song that stole the show?

Who will want such damaged tones? Yet i always hear and feel it. Maybe one day it will follow or lead- it really doesnt matter- as long as "i know" its by MY side. THANKS for the moments. Still ..-just breathe-

Why so little score? you'd think that a movie so musically driven would include more score or even an entire score album. I loved the music so much

The movie and the music as itself was pretty amazing, but the music actually took my own breath away. The music on the other hand....makes it the key on how it's made into a great movie
