More than Zimmer?I honestly commend what Steve Jablonsky composed for the 2nd movie but I really have to say that Brian Tyler's theme was more heroic for me and I'm a big fan of orchestral music that's why I wanted to hear Tyler's Ninja turtles theme again.Maulís Call, Empire Recruitment, End Credits Suite, etc.

This release looks amazing! :Othis is awesome!!!!Pemberton is probably the most obvious choice right now. I would definitely love to see Pemberton score this one
Yep, I received the news too.
Antwerp Sportpaleis is now scheduled on 23rd February 2022, a Wednesday !
Tour postponed to 2022 :'(Asides, Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy, dosen't sound like the two Jumanji written by Jackman, by anymeans, and in prefer those two scores over his Uncharted material, altough i like both.If you want a Silvestrian-type of action... Edmonson's action writting in the three Uncharted are terrific, specially Among the Thieves and Drake's Deception.i think Uncharted 4 and 2 have the best score. U2 is amazing in all regards but I hope Henry does the movie cause he's better at writing action music
If is Paramount, expect a digital release, but this people is certainly very difficult to guess...A exclusive clip from the film where some of Zimmer's score can be heard https://youtu.be/EucuM3EuUJA?t=238

Loving the short synth part at the very startIt sounds a JP theme. But also sounds like HZ did arrangements of it. The beginning of "shifu's end" kind of sounds like one. The HZ/Jackman cues for the "splits" and "battle for the scroll" which use it are good, fun cues - but they're kind of awkward and stop/start compared to JP's smoother, more confident arrangements. And they notably don't use the whole theme only fragmented bits where as the JP/Smith cues "prison", "the bridge", "shifu's end" make use of the entire theme and sound more comfortable with the frenetic orchestra material. Just my opinion though.
Jungleland is getting released in cinemas and on streaming Nov. 6 and 10 respectively. I hope Lorne's score gets a release alongside it, as the film sounds like it has some good scoring potential.Well, the two scores by Jackman are good, neither as good as Edmonson's previous work in the franchise, if Naughty Dog have to choose a composer, Edmonson is my choice.

As for comparations with Tom's Tomb Raider, remember, this franchise is a more classical adventure than a survival action.
If he's one of Jackman's best,I hope naughty dog will hire him again. I just hope that the film does not present a score as loose as Tom's tomb raidervery excited!!!
@hybrid theme by hans and the rest david? :PThe soundtrack to Uncharted 4 in my opinion is one of the best Henry has done along with first class. I hope and pray he does the movie although I have no hope for that film. But unfortunately the director likes to work with Ludwig so I donít think Henry will do it. But I pray he doesMilan Records is going to release it, they said it in his Twitter.But Rupert's Scores are always good!

Who is "they" that your referring to?
The composers? Or the fans that get them? If your talking about fans, they probably don't want to share the scores with anyone in fear of those people leaking it everywhere, and the composer finding out and stops sending the fan any more copies of his score.

this happened with me and mancina back in the early days. He sent me a DAT of Bad Boys/Speed 2. Of course I had to find someoen who had a DAT machine to put it on cd for me. Found a film score collector who said he would put it on cd for me as long as he got to get a copy and of course I said sure (I was not into the trading circuit by that time)

Well the SOB decided to also trade it with others and then someone he sent it to sold illegal copies on ebay. So who do you think Mancina got mad at? Them, no. Me. And because of that, he stopped sending me stuff. This is why others keep them for themslves. I'll continue later...

First, I understand the reason why HZ.com list all these CD's here, it's a sort of database. Alright. No problem with that. But I don't think each and every extracts they give are coming from a record that has been given by the composer or one of his staff member for instance.

Then : When I say "them" I'm referring to the fans. I totally agree with you on the fact that a score that is given by the composer himself shouldn't be shared. It's a very private gift.

But once it's done, I'm not responsible of it. Given that these unofficial scores are often due to a leak, why are they listed here then ? Are they all coming from a composer/staff member or whoever is close to the composer ...?
Knowing it's a very private gift I think that if the original possessor is (sorry for the word) "dumb" enough to share his album (even if it was just with one person), whoever manage to find that recording is not responsible of such a mess. So, should fans refuse to obtain and listen to these albums ? Should they stop sharing them ?

Everybody should have the right to share unofficial recordings with any fan who wants to have it.
You yourself have that recording and it hasn't been given to you by the composer or a staff member ?... then why would you deserve that score more than any other fan ...?

When I say "you" I don't mean "you" in particular. I'm talking about every person who has such an album.

Guys, i just got this score and after listening to it, my opinion hasn't changed one bit. The score CD will be the center piece of any Transformers 2007 score fan, this and the original promo cd will only compliment the score CD. And for all the talk this bootleg is generating, it doesn't really bring anything new. Except for a few small cues that are very cool, most of the cool stuff in it was already either on the Promo.It's still worth the DL.But BUY THE SCORE CD.

Well I, infact, did get the 52 track version of the score from one my my music editor contacts who worked on the score. I didn't want to send it out originally but I knew a few friends who would have loved to hear it. And since I'm to nice of a guy, I made a short version (the 30 minute one) and sent it to a few friends who I thought would have kept it to themselves. Of course we've seen how that turned out.

But with more people bugging me about it and calling me "greedy" which in fact if I was greedy I would have not sent it to anyone at all, I decided to just put out the 52 track version since it was only a week away from the official score release.

The reason why it was not a complete score I'll never know. He said he would send me what he had. Sadly, even his version was missing some tracks which I'm not sure why since he was a music editor on the film.

Either way, I don't go about putting it in peoples face what I have. I'm not a a-hole. Only reason I posted originally was to the guy calling me out as "greedy".

Which I bet it's someone I know and was upset I would not share the whole thing to them. And of course I had to repost to the guy calling me a liar and that the 52 track version was just a game rip.

But it's leaked out now and easily obtainable if you know where to look. So just enjoy it for now and once the official album is out, you'll have even more music . (From what I can tell, there's atleast 5 tracks on there not on the 52 track version. But thats not to say those tracks are not edits of other tracks together.

I have the 52 track version but of course I will buy the official score CD. I also signed the online petition for its release. It's on Wikepedia that Warner Bros. might release a 2 CD version sometime later, actually.

I too have managed to get my grubby little paws on the 52 track version, but i will DEFINATELY be buying the release, infact i have it preordered...if only to show support for the superb work that has gone into it. Theres been alot of feedback that people are desperate for the score, i think its time to put your money where you mouth is and buy it!! Support Jablosnky and his efforts!!! *ill get off my soapbox now*

joshua,
Speeding Autos is not the film version. It's more of an alternate or unused and sounds nothing like the film version.

V Ravi Krishna reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-06 00:00:00
I got it. Sounds pretty good, actually, but some significant cues, like the arrival of the Autobots, are missing. Not like it matters much, seeing we'll be getting an official complete score in the future ;-)

is there any way you could make speeding autos #(38) an extract. it's one of my favorite pieces of music from the film and i fear it's not gonna be on the official score because it's to short. I would really just like to hear it again. It would be greatly appreciated.

"they got a copy from someone who works in the industry'..."And they don't want to give it out because if they did, and whoever they got it from found out. They may never send them stuff again. Would you want to ruin that trusted relationship just to make a few "fans" happy?"

That's not "a few" fans...i'm talking about the whole soundtrack community. I'm talking about doing something fair !
Then, you are so naive, it's very moving. ^^
Their are so many people who own that unofficial expanded score that if many of them would share it everybody could have it too. Come on! Whoever was the first possessor of that score, the leak has already occurred ; that's obvious! How would so many people own that recording if not ?! They didn't buy it, nobody did!

Besides, it's not the first time such a thing happens. Happens all the time.

Wanna know the true reason behind the fact these "bootleg - not for sale" recordings cannot be shared ? Well it's because it allows the one who possess it to say : "I have something you can't have and I'm not willing to share it with you".

It's nothing but an ego issue :
That's called selfishness.

@ Antas reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-06 00:00:00
The fact that CD is a Bootleg instead of a Promo doesn't change anything. I'm sorry but I still don't understand why some people can find a way to put an hand on that kind of recordings when others can't.
If you have it and it's not official, why shouldn't anyone have the right to have it too ?
Reading the comments below, a lot of people seem to own this "Expanded" record. I don't think each and everyone of them may have obtained it from R.C members or at least through a legal way. Same thing for you guys.

So if I understand properly, people can own an unofficial score and they can say it (call it Bootleg, promo or whatever) but they can't say how they've found it ...? They can't share those unofficial (not for sale) records with others fans...?
Well, that's a weird conception of what is allowed (legal) and what's not. ^^

Antas, Webmaster reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-06 00:00:00
In any case the official release will be mastered (and will contain all the best tracks) so it would be a shame people who have these boots won't buy it.

I just hope people won't wait for a bootleg edition to release an official score next time (Contender, Desperate Housewives, Lion King expanded...)

- Sam Whitwicky, how can you "own" a score you did not buy? You cannot "own" a bootleg. You did not pay money for it, atleast legtimently. Did you buy the rights from the studio? Did you call Warner Bros records and cut a deal to "own" a percintage of it? No! You cannot "own" a score if it's a bootleg.
Sorry. In this world, you cannot "own" an illegal bootleg. You can "have" a copy of it. You can own the official release when it comes out. But not a bootleg.

get your facts straight

joshua reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-06 00:00:00
i agree 110% with WESTFALL. I could not have said it better myself. And i too will be buying the score and trying like hell to get the expanded bootleg

Westfall reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-06 00:00:00
I already pre-ordered the score and even if i already had this bootled i would still buy it. First because i'm one of the many that signed the online petition asking for the score and i think i's worthy of buying. Secondly, the score CD will be, from what i can gather from the available samples, a best of of sorts. Themes will be either rearranged or reorquetrated to produce something almost entirely new, and the sound quality is prime.Third, there are tracks missing in this bootleg that are on the Score CD and vice versa. My point is, if you truly loved this score as i did, buy it. Then if you can get your hans on this bootleg, do it to. They compliment each other, rather than replace. I sure as hell will try.

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-06 00:00:00
The reason some of these people sometimes gets the rare items such as this and does not share it is probably they got a copy from someone who works in the industry: composer, assistant, music editor, agency, etc. And they don't want to give it out because if they did, and whoever they got it from found out. They may never send them stuff again.

Would you want to ruin that trusted relationship just to make a few "fans" happy?

Bootleg arrives on Earth !

Sam Witwicky reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-05 00:00:00
Yeah that's a good thing the score will be officially released... specially if you've got that "expanded promo score'" version of the score!!! You wouldn't say the same if you did have this "expanded promo score" recording since it looks like that recording offers more tracks than the official version does.

Did you buy it ? Of course you might have bought it since it wouldn't be legal to show extracts of a recording you don't legally possess.
Since that amazing "expanded promo" release seem to be commercially available I'd like to know where I can find it, just as you did.
Where can we have a chance to legally purchase that album too ? Maybe I should ask to some Remote Control executives...

If you didn't buy it then ... how could you guys show us some extracts since you wouldn't be allowed to own that record ...?
Why could some kind of guy have it when others can't ?!

Don't tell me "because that's the way it is".

I wish there was a way for us to be able to legally purchase these bootleg releases. I am a huge fan of musical scores and do not like the idea that the best music is not always available to the paying consumer. Is there a way to release these bootlegs for download at a reasonable price? I do not think I am alone in the group of people who strive to obtain my music legally and to compensate the creators as they deserve to be.

@sam : This release is not a promo. It's a bootleg -- something not official and not for public sale.

I won't say how I got it but I can explain why it is on the site : just because we put all existing CD we manage to find/get. Moreover, have in mind bootlegs/promos listed on these pages could help to the release of an official edition.
