More like Hans had the idea to leak it and then got five different Magic Box composers to upload each file individually.MTV Trailer Music original? original version pleaseeeeOh, I know. But wouldn't it be a funny story if it was? XDSo basically HZ leaked them himself in an act of generosity towards his beloved fans? :p"Maybe some disgruntled RC employee quit and rage-uploaded all of them"<br><br>LOL I can assure you it's not what happened ! :)
It's been an absolutely amazing year for leaked complete scores in general! I have a huge backlog of them that I haven't even gotten around to listening to yet. Maybe some disgruntled RC employee quit and rage-uploaded all of them. :p<br><br>But...hasn't the complete Pearl Harbor been around for ages?(-(-):(--(:) SOONGoodness, so many HZ scores leaked this week. In fact, its been a good year or so for HZ fans (as far as leaked scores haha). I wonder what happened all of a sudden. Definitely hoping for more in the next couple of months. Maybe Pearl Harbor or Hannibal will come soon. At least, thats what I hope haha.Is the choir music part of the score? And I really liked the music in the last ten seconds of the video.Probably to get it to CD quality. They sound as clean as the album tracks to me.
This is something I feel needs to be dragged up in light of the full score becoming available.<br><br>I'm inclined to believe this doesn't exist. No evidence has ever surfaced for it. The so-called "Original opening" was supposed to have been included on earlier bootlegs but I can find no mention of it beyond here and the one mention on filmtracks.<br><br>So, IF the FYC exists AT ALL, it was likely to be the sessions, just without the songs (because the sessions that leaked... those songs are clearly from the albums - I am curious to know where he got the reel info for them from). I'd love to be proven wrong, but I don't think I ever will. If it does exist, the sessions themselves supplant the FYC by a mile, and IF it does exist, then those who hold the sessions proper (not the ones that leaked with the songs) also have a cue that has not seen the light of day: the Mufasa's Dead piece that is highlighted above.<br><br>I'd still love to see who did what with regards to the film, and I still think there are some interesting alternates. In the Special Edition, I seem to recall Zimmer stating he wrote four hours worth of music, and although I don't think that was all translated into actual cues, I'd be surprised if a great deal of the ideas went unused, or did get used but are still unreleased (like the film versions of Scar's Dinner and Sunrise at Pride Rock). Hell, there may even be material for M8 and M16 given that the film's script went through several pre-release revisions.One has to wonder though why the FLAC version was downsampled. This means the quality is not as good as it could be, right?Any verfication that the version of Circle of Life shown here actually exists at all? With the sessions, it's easy to replicate the rest of the material but I'd be inclined to believe that "Circle of Life" is just the instrumental version with the film version's interlude or something.The FLAC is 44kHz. So whoever did the conversion did it right this time.i havent heard that theme in ages...imma check it out
O-cool, this is indeed VERY cool :)featurette with new music(choir!)<br><br>www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=rtcEtDDqvu8Well I mean ''Looking Into Limbo (Alternate)''Untitled track # 1 it's very similiar like MementoThese files come from a 48Khz source. What is the sampling rate of the flac version?

What is wrong with you!?!?! They did a great job with the movie. Do you know how boring and long the movie would be if they did every thing to the comic and the t.v. series. Who cares if you grew with the comic. If you think your so great why don't you make the movie. Anyway Kusi81 is right this is for the music go find another wedsite for you to complain on. Anyway the music was great. It made the movie even more enjoyable.

your selection stinks! so do all of your comments . the opening of the movie is the same as autobots arrival. as some one who grew up with both the comic and the animated series --- they screwed up bigtime. michael bay is stupid . he shouldn't be allowed to direct traffic . i've never even heard of bone crusher or barricade. they made the decepticons look dumb, (faces) . i barely recognized megatron . second spike and spark plug work on oil riggs , spike (not sam) has already graduated from high school . the main concern here are the people who are not familiar with transformers . when they do their research to learn more they will find out that most of this doesn't line up with chronological timelines.

From listening to some tunes of them, I thought this score album MUST be released!!
Because if only 'the Movie' score or this 'Expanded' one, that means no perfect.
I like 'Camaro on the run'. The scenary is clearly appeares into my brain like a flashback...! Exciting.

Excellent music, and the quality is great compared to a bootleg! I really hope the rumoured 2 CD complete score is released. Hopefully we won't have to create another petition for that!!

Michael Bay is one of the greatest directors who worked with the greatest composers as Trevor Rabins, Hans Zimmer and Steve Jablonsky.. i feel that sll of them compose as if they belong to the same school of art....

What an amazing score, great job Steve!

From what it sounds like this "Expanded Score" is not officially available yet to the public to purchase.

My question is... does anybody know if or when the "Expanded Score" will become available to the public?

Thanks!

When I bought the official soundtrack I noticed that most of the scores are not the version used in the film. After I listened to the expanded score I know the reason, the scores in the official CD are well arranged and selected. I like the refined version in the official score more than the expanded score (in fact, both of them are great).

joseph reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-31 00:00:00
some of the music that people are refering to is that some music is on the "official score" and bits and peices of this score are used in the movie i love this score ive listened to it over and over espically the expanded score ive listened to that continuisly one of my favorites next to my armageddon complete score well done well done:-) happy halloween every buddy:-)

I want to have this CD.

How can I get it??

Levente reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-21 00:00:00
Some very important music is missing from this album. For example Autobots Arrive, Decepticons theme(whne Frenzy hacks Air Force One), Autobots them (which was used in the prologue).

Why is it called ''Expanded''... isnt this a complete score?

masongoliver reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-13 00:00:00
is it me, or in both the official release and this expanded release, the track of Sam first talking to Bumblebee missing? It's actually the same track as Optimus's speech at the dam. I know that in the official CD, "Optimus" sounds alot like that track, but there were no flute music in the theater version. The theater version had more choir. That's my favorite track of them all and they don't have it in both of these version!!

The lyrics of Decepticons :

"I was wondering for a longer time now what the great lyrics in the "Decepticons theme" mean, and today, I found out: The Decepticons theme is influenced by the world famous Dies Irae. Jablonsky mixed it up, and uhm, well now you have a meaningless pot of words:

Low-voice-chant:
Tuba, mirum, Tuba, spargens
Tremor, David, mirum, ante

Chant which gets louder throughout:
Totum totum totum totum David
Totum spargens totum david
Totum quarens, sedisti totum

(I wasn't able to understand the rest of it.)

If ya would translate it, it would be something like this:

Trumpet, casts, Trumpet wondrous
Horror, David, Casts, before

Contained, contained, contained contained David
Contained wondrous contained David
Contained seeking, hope contained

So, it's all kinda nonsense (although the real Dies Irae has a biblical meaning behind it)."

The piece "when Bumblebee and Sam take the Cube out of Hoover Dam and meet with Optimus and others on a highway" is just a faster version of the "Scorponok" theme, I tried to increase the playback rate on that track and thought it was pretty much the same as in that scene. Btw. the cue "when Megatron is freed from his hybernation" is almost exactly the same as "Soccent Attack", so I wouldn't say there's a "huge chunk" missing, if you have both the promo and official album.

A Sentient Being reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-10 00:00:00
"Skorpinok" track was finally changed into "Scorponok" on the official score. The same i9s with "Whitwicky", it was changed into "Witwicky". I've read this in Chris Knight's review.

"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings!"

It's not in there, even the intro music and some major cues are not in there even though it has so many tracks. Another reason to go buy the CD.
