Well I mean ''Looking Into Limbo (Alternate)''Untitled track # 1 it's very similiar like MementoThese files come from a 48Khz source. What is the sampling rate of the flac version?I have just realized that the main theme was very close to broken arrow main theme (the famous guitar theme).that too....aside from that 4th descending note...Very true.

For the sake of argument, and because I'm really tired of this debate. They are also the 'James Bond Chords/ascending melody"yeah there is I just pointed it out.

Do a side by side comparison, you'll hear the same chords.

Superman theme dresses it up by adding a few extra notes at the end bt it's the same ascending chords....Hybrid soldier can you tell us when this score will leak? It's the 1st news on imdb frontpage :)I asked this, but it's likely to do better on its own topic. Does anybody have any idea what M8 and M16 should have contained? And, I hear the supposed FYC Promo had a different version of Circle of Life. Any truth to that one?
Any idea what M8 and M16 should have contained? And, I hear the supposed FYC Promo had a different version of Circle of Life. Any truth to that one? While TDKR can truly be called a Hans score, however, I do understand the question with regards to Inception (which I mentioned on that page), where Lorne not only arranged the score as heard in the film but wrote a couple themes himself (Fischer's theme, Kick It Suite, and possibly even Saito's theme). In that case I would say he should be given credit as a co-composer.I can answer that one, Anon. With The Dark Knight Rises, pretty much ALL the music comes from one of two sources: the suites Hans wrote for the movie or from the scores of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight (also by Hans). And even though Lorne arranged a whole lot of cues for the film, they're hardly changed from the way Hans wrote them, so you're truly listening to Hans Zimmer when you watch the film.

With Modern Warfare 2, Hans only wrote ONE piece, the Opening Titles. The other pieces are not only arranged by Lorne (as in TDKR) but COMPOSED BY Lorne (something not the case in TDKR).Another great Powell release was Chicken Run!Powell animated scores do tend to get good treatment. How to Train Your Dragon was an excellent album. And you're right, Maelstrom pt. 1 and Liftoff are great pieces, which is why I intentionally said the scores contain MOST of the notable stuff. ;)
Well, yeah, the complete score here is only about 15 minutes longer than the regular album. Powell animated scores (which this really is more than a Zimmer effort) tend to have pretty good releases that contain most if not all of the music, and always all of the really important stuff.

As for your other ones, I agree with all of them except At World's End. The Treasures Collection suites were definitely an absolute godsend, but that still didn't include Maelstrom Pt. 1 or Liftoff, which are both absolutely essential cues IMO.I'm the greatest Hans Zimmer fan of all time and I say there is nothing close to AWE in Superman's theme. DOT.

-Love, peace, weed and music-What the hell is that? where you get it from? the source do not tell me is your'ssYep, he is. But still he's in talks for Bond (or maybe it's just a rumor, we can't possibly know). If this news is true, i suppose he'll do Bond right after shooting Interstellar... But then there will be no Bond until 2015 and that's a bit long. Wait and see.Isn't Chris Nolan doing Interstellar right now? And didn't Hybrid say Hans is scoring that?

I know this has been discussed. BUT. I've been trying to find the cue used twice in the Bourne Supremacy, and once in the Bourne Ultimatum. In the Supremacy, it plays when Bourne is in the cafe looking up info on Neski and The Hotel Breker., and also when Landy goes to confront Abbott. In the Ultimatum, it's used when Neil Daniels is leaving his apartment (and it is not "Daniels Clears Out"). Has anyone ever found this? You'd think a cue used three times in two movies would be released...and it's awesome.

As long as it contains new mateirals I don't care if it is out of order. :)

Very very wrong tracklist !

First, "Meetings" has the wrong name and wrong place. There's no music during the meeting at the beginning of the movie. The cue's used later in the movie when Bourne arrives in NY. On Ascap, the cue is called "Your Party is Waiting" and should be placed between Morgue and Contact Marie. Contact Marie is a wrong name too, as Marie's dead, the real name of the cue (based on Ascap) is simply "Contact".

"Bonus Cue" isn't a bonus, but is the cue for the final sequence, called on album "Jason is Reborn" and on Ascap "Bourne Adrift". It's up to you to decide which one's best ! :D

"B and E" is in fact the end credits music, and if it was originally meant to be used during the movie, it could have hardly been placed before Car Chase because it doesn't sync with anything there... And then should be considered as the "Bonus Cue".

Then we have this :

1. Six Weeks Ago (4:31)
2. Waterloo Part I (9:38)
3. Waterloo Part II (5:33)
4. Ross Terminated (3:03)
5. Daniels Clear Out (1:49)
6. Unsafe House (12:25)
7. Assets and Targets (7:58)
8. Bike Chase (3:34)
9. Rooftop Chase (4:16)
10. Apartment - Cat and Mouse (2:30)
11. Faces (3:40)
12. Morgue (3:01)
13. Your Party is Coming (2:15)
14. Contact (6:20)
15. Car Chase (2:32)
16. Coming Home (3:19)
17. Remembering (3:49)
18. Corners of My Mind (4:27)
19. Jason is Reborn (3:10)
20. End Credits (Bonus Cue) (3:05)

2. Meetings (2:15)
3. Waterloo Part I (9:38)
4. Waterloo Part II (5:33)
5. Ross Terminated (3:03)
6. Daniels Clear Out (1:49)
7. Unsafe House (12:25)
8. Assets and Targets (7:58)
9. Bike Chase (3:34)
10. Rooftop Chase (4:16)
11. Apartment - Cat and Mouse (2:30)
12. Faces (3:40)
13. Morgue (3:01)
14. Contact Marie (6:20)
15. B and E (3:05)
16. Car Chase (2:32)
17. Coming Home (3:19)
18. Remembering (3:49)
19. Corners of My Mind (4:27)
20. Bonus Cue (3:10)

A recent release of a expanded score shares many unreleased or unheard of cues from the film itself. Even Waterloo Parts I & II are different from 'Waterloo' on the original soundtrack.

Heres the expanded score track listings:

1. Six Weeks Ago (4:31)
2. Meetings (2:15)
3. Waterloo Part I (9:38)
4. Waterloo Part II (5:33)
5. Ross Terminated (3:03)
6. Daniels Clear Out (1:49)
7. Unsafe House (12:25)
8. Assets and Targets (7:58)
9. Bike Chase (3:34)
10. Rooftop Chase (4:16)
11. Apartment - Cat and Mouse (2:30)
12. Faces (3:40)
13. Morgue (3:01)
14. Contact Marie (6:20)
15. B and E (3:05)
16. Car Chase (2:32)
17. Coming Home (3:19)
18. Remembering (3:49)
19. Corners of My Mind (4:27)
20. Bonus Cue (3:10)

You think they will release expanded soundtracks for these films? In the movies, I heard different music most of the time until the cue for the ones on these soundtracks appear.

Bourne Fan reply Replies: 0 || 2008-01-18 00:00:00
This is some of the best soundtrack music I think I've EVER heard! I love the perfect mix between classical and electronics. The music is so bitter-sweet and depressing at times, but filled with dramatic action elsewhere. I won't be bored with it for a long time.

Anyone know does any of the songs have the piece of the music that starts when SPOILERS Bourne leaves Daniels house and call the cops?

vasco_cid reply Replies: 0 || 2007-09-20 00:00:00
a very good score regardless of the fact that about of the music heard in the movie isn't on the soundtrack....... i really hope they release a complete score for this movie, because there's a piece of music absent from the bourne supremacy album that is used in this movie and surprisingly absent from this score too. It's the piece in this movie that plays in the first scene in Madrid with Neil Daniels. In supremacy that piece appeared twice: First when Jason is in the Internet looking for the hotel, and second when Pamela Landy is going to Abbot's room before he SPOILERS(commits suicide)..

I'd probably give it a 6. While it's more consistent than Identity a lot of the best themes are missing. It doesn't really come close to Supremacy so unless you really want more Bourne music you could probably give it a pass.

max reply Replies: 0 || 2007-08-04 00:00:00
from 1 to 10 how good is this score? is better than bourne identity and bourne supremacy?

Anthony has a point...
I think it will be interesting to hear what he does in b3... His scores match the film excellantly.
