The whole movie needs to be completed within only 2 months, that is why it has 3 directors, 2 composers and loads of other people dealing with their own parts.Yeah no I don't have translated titles.

There's also a song out, roughly translated "Heroes Anthem" or "Ode to Heroes", by Tan Weiwei which Andrew did Synth arrangments on.

And there's also a second score album containing Roc Chen's score (movie apparently has a shitload of directors (lol) and had 2 composers).

China is very complicated as usual !! lolI don't speak Chinese. I'd rather have English titles that I can understand and fit with my library.Unfortunately there is no plan to have that one out internationally... :/

Yep, actually I did the same with Shrek 4 as well...

Someone brought to my attention today that track 7, Charmed and Dangerous, has James Horner's well-known four-note-danger-motif trademark. It is played 3 or 4 times starting from 0:34!

So Shrek The Third was not bad after all. I totally enjoyed this CD though it was more Narnia influneced than Shrek-ish. Can't call it a conclusion to a trilogy though... Right now it's confirmed that there are two more Shrek films on the way... Hoooolly CGI!

I pretty much agree with you Han. I heard Harry talk about how a lot of the temp music (which was from Shrek 1 & 2) for the movie fitted perfectly so he just had some pieces reorchestrated.

And after seeing the movie, it's pretty obvious which bits of music these are.

I'll probably get this, but I'm just expecting a re-hash of the first two.

Hmm, Im trying to think if this cd is worth buying. Most of the great themes are found on the first movie soundtrack... I really dont think anything new stood out to me. What do you guys think?
