That's been standard in certain cases, though considerably less nowadays with how complicated these situations have become.<br><br>Having heard both tracks posted, both give me little on their own. I'm sure they work better in the context of the film, and we might see better tracks unveiled eventually. He deserve better.Hans and Lorne like twins. Lorne has a very good personality. I still don't understand why some people are still writing bad comments to Lorne?Probably... lolSo is this how it’s gonna be? Thank you. And i suppose "Need You Busting My Balls - End Credits" title would correspond to ASCAP "Need You Busting My Balls" + "RUSH END CREDITS", while "Just Married" to "RUSH MAIN ON END"?That’s literally the best part of the score though. But it’s typical Richter (Miss Sloane, Black Mirror: Nosedive).Hunt Drunken Weirdness is barely a cue actually, it's just a patch up of sound designs by Mel...<br><br>Italian Party is a name I made up for a cue that's not used in the movie ! :)In ASCAP there is a cue "HUNT DRUNKEN WEIRDNESS" - is this by a chance an alias to "Italian Party", which is absent in ASCAP. The POTC 3 Soundtrack is awsome ecpecialy tracks 11 and 13. Hoist the Colours is good too. I hope there will be a four POTC movie so I can hear another great score. Das ist seher gut Hans Zimmer.

P.S. What ever happened to Klause Badelt. Didn't he make most of the themes.

no body can touch zimmer, no body can judge with simplicity his creative's spirit...
HE is the master and a lot themes here are the reflect of his german's root, land of music.
this man is a genius, thank you because I feed my days and my life with your music...

... if we take the ost like a one hole thing than I can say it;s a good work.. I just love H. Zimmer, but this work remainds me some others for example: the rock, or da vinci code (but reading comments I see I'm not the only one:) besides something is missing :/ , any way I love it:)

I have been listening to this soundtrack for the past hour and I must say that I'm blown away by this CD. I was a little dissapointed with the Dead Man's Chest so I was hoping that Zimmer would just kill this score....and he did it!!!! It's the best Pirates score from start to finish. I love the new themes and the way they are intertwined throughout all the songs. I especially love the last track encorporating all the major themes from the past 3 movies into 1 last horrah. Great Job =) 5/5

A 4/5 Effort.... A decent Effort, Really good new themes, good Ideas but... 1)the album doesn't flow... there are too many pauses and 2) there is one big MISTAKE!!! Plsss Mr. Zimmer don't tell me you didn't realise that the last note played by the Bass (either synthethic or double bass) in UP Is Down didn't resolve in the Key!!! For goodness sake I was shocked in hearing such a misplaced track. For my taste I think that the album should have paced without the theme from the first movie because in this contest it sounds really really out of place and childish. The score took from a rather funny and comic beginning and ending in this serious big budget score... A huge difference in Nature and using the same :S rather bad thinking I think.
The Best track of the Album for me is "What shall we Die for" (Reminded me alot in the score of The Lion King - King of Pride Rock)@@ <<< that is pure quality of music and it serves really good in the album as a prelude to "I Don't Think Now Is the Best Time" best till 04:55... In this track though the theme from the first movie doesn't fit the mood.
The first track is also very good. A clever use of reverbs and it leaves a very good impression on the listener... it sets you in the Mood. but the second track is completely out of the mood. I wished for a much more serious music as the second track!!!...
The "Omaggio a Mro. Ennio Morricone" is an absolute fun :) Thanks Zimmer for reminding us that he is such a genius ;)!!!
Over all a good effort indeed... I really love the dramatic part of the music; the emotion is simply awesome and the influences from "The Lion King", "Da Vinci Code" and many other gr8 previous scores lifted this soundtrack from a 2 rating to 4+ one :).... Hope to get some more music like this epic approach... What I would like to here is though something much more co-hesive as an album like "The Gladiator" which for me might just simply be the best album ever heard ;):):) !!@

Just got the score and listened to it 6 times in a row and it is by far some of the best scoring Zimmer has ever done and is easily the best Pirates score. Black Pearl is a good start (zimmer wrote almost all the music for Black Pearl) but it gets a little tedious, Dead Man's Chest is a great advancement and has some oustanding scoring, especially Jack Sparrow theme, then comes At World's End which ties them all together in the most exciting and powerful way. The recording and mixing is brilliant and the scoring is Zimmer at he's very best. 'I don't think now is the best time' is just incredible. To take in the quality of Zimmer's scoring listen to that track many times over and over and you will hear how fantastic it really is. I feel it is one of the best Zimmer scoring efforts in his career. 'At World's End' is thrilling to listen to and you have to play it loud. It's a pirates score and it deserve's to be cranked up! Zimmer as always inspires us with his one of a kind talent. Thanks Mr. Zimmer : ZED from a place called Australia. Take care guys and girls. :)

Im a Zimmer fan since Days of Thunder but in the last years he dissapointed me in his action score.

But this time....BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A hugely symphonic, orchestral and almost operistic score. I have enough words to talk about how good this score is!
