I know what you mean. When I listen to this, I basically hear a Hans & Lorne score with some DP stylings.

It's fairly frustrating for me, as I'm big on proper crediting; I neither want to give anyone undue credit, nor fail to give credit. With this one, honestly, my only strong intuition is that DP did almost nothing.There's not much besides the general consensus that Joseph Trapanese did a lot of the heavy lifting with DP's ideas (though they still contributed a fair bit). Toby Chu doing "Adagio For TRON" is about it, unless you do count the cues that were once listed on JT's website.

Quite frankly, I'm still having a hard time believing the duo stayed on a project that apparently was primarily managed by someone else. These are guys that have always stressed to have full creative control on their albums and ventures, so to hear that they weren't really driving the wheel here sounds off to me. It certainly would explain why they haven't done a score since, but hey. I probably won't ever know the full story.Good question. I honestly get the sense this largely scored to picture, given how varied the cues are, plus the fact Hans did the Day of the Dead and Tuesday cues alone.

The Batman Suite itself almost sounds like it was done after the score itself was composed, but I could definitely be wrong about that.

By the way, pretty fucking cool Hans did all (six?) of the themes on this. IMO that goes a long way to show he can still do really solid thematic work when he wants to.So, any confirmation of who actually did what on this score?

It's one of my favorite RCP-styled scores ever, but I have to admit, it sounds far more Hans & Lorne than Daft Punk. I mean, several of the cues are almost direct copies of Inception cues, albeit more heavily electronic and very differently orchestrated.Shaken.... Not Stirred ;)
California here. Will travel to Europe to see you. No need to come to USA. We will come to you. Best regards, GarySingle from Ben's score for The Invisible Man was released and I'm pleasantly surprised by it. https://youtu.be/f-aH9kDKVBYI’ve been coming back to “But I Will Always Be Faster” and “Sonic The Hedgehog” repeatedly, I’m genuinely impressed by how strong the writing is in both cues. Honestly it doesn’t sound like Holkenborg (mixing aside).Hi there,

i have seen that the Score (Soundtrack) will be released on 27th of march. But i would like to know somthing maybe any of you knows:

Will the Song itself be released physical as a Single CD? Or will it be available just for download?
Because if there will be no CD, it would be the first James Bond Song which is not released as a Single CD.Rejected scores have gotten official releases before, such as Timeline by Jerry Goldsmith. So even if the Snyder Cut never gets released, I'd hope Junkie could potentially still work out a deal to get his original score out there. Keeping my fingers crossed.
No Time to Die coming by Decca 27th March

https:// www.udiscovermusic.com/news/hans-zimmer-no- time-to-die-soundtrack/?fbclid=IwAR1UtjXatRpCQyXWJ9f7YYfT9Eb k5jy4d7XnlS6XzX4vTiOTxFfvQ0PWgaIIt all depends on whether WB releases the Snyder Cut OR no I don't even want to think about the other case & with the way things are going now it looks like we'll definitely get Zack Snyder's Justice League if not today then tomorrow and only then your question will have any meaning.
TL;DR the score will only happen after WB #ReleaseTheSnyderCutHybrid, Oscar Senen and Joan Martorell orchestrate the score ?Budapest, please :(Same question here, is concert in Poland even concidered to occur?
if the link doesn't work for some reason, the song is called Cliffhanger Sky High on youtubeHi All, sorry it took so long to upload, My friend helped me set up a youtube channel to upload tracks to. I am very inspired by the classic Zimmer Scores of the 90's. I envisioned A climactic rescue aboard A speeding train for this particular cue.
https://youtu.be/4WyMIcpqMRk
I avoided bringing up the TF films in this thread until AFTER you dragged them into it.
===============

No one dragged anything.

I briefly mentioned that franchise, among many other things you conveniently ignored (you do that a lot), to prove a simple point: that a director doesn't get to make 5 movies from the same franchise if people aren't enjoying his work. Simple as that. I never talked about the "quality" of each of those movies. Go see the comment again.

YOU picked up on this and started talking obsessively about the TF.

==============
Going after every person that doesn't like Bay and trying to obsessively "debunk" them is psychotic, yes.
==============

Look at your first comment here, pal. Look at it good! Snarky, dismissive, almost trollish, and with a clear intention to provoke people. Let me quote it: "Another day, another Bay film that doesn't know what fun is."

I only "go after" people who can't share their opinions in a respectful, mature way. There are a lot of comments here I disagreed with. But I never confronted those people. Why? Because they know how to properly share an opinion.

I only go after people who provoke, make fun of someone/something and troll. I've never "attacked" a person who didn't deserve that kind of response. My post history here speaks for itself.

===================
And constantly referring to other people's opinions and whinging about the box office doesn't make you objective, especially with how self-contradictory the latter has been.
===================

Nope. Not even close.

You're just bitter that I'm using quotes from proven, talented people like Spielberg who support Bay. What quotes can your side use? Just quotes from knucklehead film bloggers and critics who hate half of what Hollywood makes.

No one with an actual integrity and knowledge of the film business can dismiss what Bay has accomplished. You may not like his stuff, but to completely dismiss him as a filmmaker is.......moronic. Truth is, it's only small fries on the internet who are angry that their favorite mid-level directors aren't as big and successful as Bay.

That's really the bottom line.

Speaking of that, who is YOUR favorite filmmaker? Go ahead, share it with us. I mean, that's obvious.

And..... I never posted a lie. Just because "your sources" claim something different doesn't mean it's the truth. Pacific Rim wasn't a success - considering the huge expactations and the fact that the movie's budget is $200 freakin' million - and they DID try to start a franchise with 300. They failed.

================
Your lack of self-awareness is astounding.
================

That's rich. Coming from the guy who calls himself "Cynical Makooti". The guy who now plays the victim, even though he was the one who started this with a childish, trollish comment.

Look at my first reply to you. I was jokingly mimicking your style. Intentionally. Then you tried to be a smartass with your next reply. But EVEN THEN, I responded in a normal way with my second post. After that........you unleashed your true self.

And now, you're acting like the victim: "Poor me, being attacked by a crazy Bay fan!"

So please, don't talk about self-awareness. It ain't working.

================
Pacific Rim was a domestic bomb that turned things around with its international box office.
================

Haha, maybe you should read more Forbes. A few parts from "Air Battle" are used in the making of the movie. It must be an early draft of the final film cue because many bits of score are similar in the movie.
But of course, the beginning of the cue doesn't sound "Pearl Harbor".
The way it is composed let me think it's a Jablonsky's track.

Anthony reply Replies: 0 || 2007-02-13 00:00:00
TJ, I haven't heard any of this score, but since you say ''it sounds like game music'' I'm guessing it's a demo.

Sylvos said:

""30 Seconds Over Tokyo" was very surprising for me. It's what I can call an extended version of "War" from the official release."

I would say it's more true/correct to call the "War" track on the official release a 'shortened'/edited track of the 'full' cue, wouldn't you agree ? ;) (like it is always done on Zimmer's etc. soundtrack releases)

Also, on these expanded versions I hear people are speaking of " it's the 'film version'..." etc., but in my opinion it's not correct to call it that, cause mostly these are the complete cues as they are composed, and recorded (before they are mixed into the film). But for instance, Zimmer etc. does compose the music to fit the pictures right away, so you can understand why people say 'film version', when they actually mean the 'original complete cue'-version.
However, it's not always that the music are used in that exact way in the film, sometimes they leave out the first few seconds in the film mix, or split it up, and have silence in the middle etc...

So for instance, if I want something, I always would like to get the original composed, and recorded cue, and not the film mix version of the cue, cause it's not necessarely the 'full' version...

Track 34 from the first CD is an alternate version of the air battle. The original music can be found on the expanded album, and also a two minute music is still unreleased.
Also the music when Affleck and Hartnet crash land in China is unreleased.

Mr Tweedy reply Replies: 0 || 2007-01-11 00:00:00
You're right Ridley, are still missing the Air Battle (film version) and the crash at the end of the movie. Are also missing : the newsreel music, and the film version of the "Letters from Rafe" cue.
This version of Air Battle can be heard on the making of the movie, I was glad to listen to it, even if the beginning of the cue doesn't sound like the rest of the score at all... really disappointing how much it doesn't sound "pearl harbor-ish".

The reason I was so excited about this release cause of the air battle cues. Since it's missing this won't be my favourite complete release.
