Thank you HybridI could do it but it wouldn't be totally accurate. I mean, some cues are taken from Begins (done by JNH) but here done by HZ... :)<br><br><br>And I don't have all credits for Lorne's work, just partial...<br><br>But yeah, I'll do it...Hybrid did say it was more clear-cut than Batman Begins was, though. Even if specific credits can't be given, it's probably fair to say that "action/epic scenes" = Zimmer material, "anything related to Dent or having to do with tragedy" = Howard.I have a feeling that if Hybrid knew, he'd have posted it already. But, of course, I'd love to be proved wrong! :)Question seconded, if it isn't too much trouble. :)
What? Only two composers make up the group Magic Box Music: John Sponsler and Tom Gire.Can you please write who did what?So where is the damn CD?!More like Hans had the idea to leak it and then got five different Magic Box composers to upload each file individually.MTV Trailer Music original? original version pleaseeee
Oh, I know. But wouldn't it be a funny story if it was? XDSo basically HZ leaked them himself in an act of generosity towards his beloved fans? :p"Maybe some disgruntled RC employee quit and rage-uploaded all of them"<br><br>LOL I can assure you it's not what happened ! :)It's been an absolutely amazing year for leaked complete scores in general! I have a huge backlog of them that I haven't even gotten around to listening to yet. Maybe some disgruntled RC employee quit and rage-uploaded all of them. :p<br><br>But...hasn't the complete Pearl Harbor been around for ages?(-(-):(--(:) SOON
Goodness, so many HZ scores leaked this week. In fact, its been a good year or so for HZ fans (as far as leaked scores haha). I wonder what happened all of a sudden. Definitely hoping for more in the next couple of months. Maybe Pearl Harbor or Hannibal will come soon. At least, thats what I hope haha.Is the choir music part of the score? And I really liked the music in the last ten seconds of the video.Probably to get it to CD quality. They sound as clean as the album tracks to me.This is something I feel needs to be dragged up in light of the full score becoming available.<br><br>I'm inclined to believe this doesn't exist. No evidence has ever surfaced for it. The so-called "Original opening" was supposed to have been included on earlier bootlegs but I can find no mention of it beyond here and the one mention on filmtracks.<br><br>So, IF the FYC exists AT ALL, it was likely to be the sessions, just without the songs (because the sessions that leaked... those songs are clearly from the albums - I am curious to know where he got the reel info for them from). I'd love to be proven wrong, but I don't think I ever will. If it does exist, the sessions themselves supplant the FYC by a mile, and IF it does exist, then those who hold the sessions proper (not the ones that leaked with the songs) also have a cue that has not seen the light of day: the Mufasa's Dead piece that is highlighted above.<br><br>I'd still love to see who did what with regards to the film, and I still think there are some interesting alternates. In the Special Edition, I seem to recall Zimmer stating he wrote four hours worth of music, and although I don't think that was all translated into actual cues, I'd be surprised if a great deal of the ideas went unused, or did get used but are still unreleased (like the film versions of Scar's Dinner and Sunrise at Pride Rock). Hell, there may even be material for M8 and M16 given that the film's script went through several pre-release revisions.One has to wonder though why the FLAC version was downsampled. This means the quality is not as good as it could be, right?

Good Night,
My name is Flavia, I live in Brazil and I'm getting married next year. I wonder how can I buy the sheet music from the soundtrack of the movie the holiday. I would like to play them in my wedding. It has a store in Sacramento, California, that sells these scores? I have a friend who lives there and who could bring to me. I await the return. My email to contact is: flaviasilvadeoliveira@hotmail.com
Forgive me my English. I appreciate the attention. Good Night.

I'm a great fan of Hans Zimmer and the holiday's scores are so well written, particulary Cry, Dream Kitchen, Maestro then Gumption...

Pridelander reply Replies: 0 || 2009-01-24 00:00:00
> Bucai & Adrian

The tunes Jack Black/Miles played on his keyboard (not piano ;-) ) in that particular scene were written by Hans Zimmer.

Zimmer also used these tunes ("Authur's Theme" and "Iris' Theme") in the film's score. So if you listen to the soundtrack carefully, you'll find these two themes appear in Track 20 & 21. Though they're not exactly the same as Jack played in that scene.

The words Jack singing along with Zimmer's tunes may be improvisation by Jack, or it may be written in Nancy Meyers' script.

Adrian reply Replies: 0 || 2009-01-22 00:00:00
@ Bucai, i think it's an improvisation by Jack Black himself.. However, you could try and listen to all the songs which are credited at the end titels.
If the song isn't there, its an impro by Jack :)
He's a very good musisian himself by the way!
