The Rango suite is intensely enjoyable, in my opinion.Indeed, there is a "previous Verbinski" vibe to it. I'm looking forward to this score. I just wish we knew more about it!Epic track!!!!!! The album features the Emmy Award-winning score composed by Geoff Zanelli (Disturbia, The Odd Life of Timothy Green). Paramount Music will distribute the digital version of the soundtrack, with La-La Land Records handling the physical release. The 2-disc album will be released on June 18, 2013.Honestly it's not impossible that the movie AND the score are both worse than Battleship... The good point is that expectations are pretty low, we may end up very surprised :-)Few things are, Tom, few things are. ;)Let us hope, that this won't be as bad as Battleship...
Not quite sure I share your enthusiasm, Hybrid... It sounds kinda I feared it'll sound. I hoped for a big orchestra, but this is more "Person of interst" kind of score, apparently. Still impatiently waiting for the whole thing, though. Samples are often misguiding.Yeah but digitally it's still Disney, isn't it?The Intrada release will be out in late July, maybe that's why...Just came back, and sadly it isn't. :/Thanks!! <br>It was "seasons" by Chris Cornell

I absolutely adore the bassoon solos in this, especially in 'Ellie Remebers'. Powell is a genius who is to be commended

I really love the first track. I love that jazzy rhythm and then the clarinet solo. I love all the tracks. There melodies and styles are performed so wonderfully. I am definatley looking forward to hearing more from Powell. And I have to say, both sloth sing alongs are rather hysterical and catchy.

I really like the song, "Food Glorious food". I saw Ice Age 2 in a drive in, and when I heard this, I laughed like crazy! It's awesome. Iv'e been looking all over for the lyrics, but I can't find all of them. I would really appreciate it if you could post them up. Thanks alot.

A very funny score. It's even better than the first movie. I can't believe that the song Mammoths is written by John. Is really magnificent and it fits well in the movie. I think that Mr. Powell will have a long and succesful career.
