From what I hear, Disney will be releasing The Lion King movie on Blu-Ray sometime next year. I wonder if they could include an isolated score track with this one. Does that ask for re-use fees too?
None of those movies they transferred to blu-ray had one so far. I can't see why this one should be any different, with or without re-use fees. The only source of hope for this is Intrada or that someone manages to make a better copy of the masters during the production of the blu-ray.
Come on, people, please show some restraint in posting here and on the petition if you sign it. If we expect Walt Disney Records to respond to our requests, we're going to have to be a lot more professional.

I have some suggestion to make this petition more effective. Could you delete some invalid sigs? I found many spams from bots here and there (945, for example). And I think the triple signatures by mgbube (394, 401 & 458) should be deleted except the last one.* Disney will doubt the credibility of our petition if it has many spams and multiple sigs.
* mgbube - I appreciate your passion for this petition. :-) But please understand that it's not effective to enter multiple signatures by the one same person. Sorry.

The bootleg was improperly ripped from the real recording sessions from DAT tapes allegedly, which resulted in the slowing down of tracks, mono sound and poor quality.

@Sean, be careful, there are a lot of fake stereo Lion King score versions being spread around by people. You can distinguish them if you listen closely to the original OST tracks.
Yeah Shawn, I'm happy the petition reached the 1000 mark. We need much more than that though. I'm really busy with studies so I haven't been able to bump my petition link threads in many websites, but I definitely will after my exams!
