Wow... just listening to those two "--teaser"-- clips has made me frantic to obtain the entire thing! The music of the Lion King is unmatched, and it's about time we are able to appreciate it's full, unfettered greatness!

I remember watching an interview with Hans Zimmer, and he mentioned having composed over a dozen different variations on the popular "--This Land"-- theme... variations that just "--weren't quite right"--, as he put it. Imagine... all of that material the world may never hear!

This bootleg is NOT a DVD-rip, no way! I have the SFX version (a DVD rip) and the Bug's Life DVD rip, both of them have heavy volume fluctuations, listeners can notice, like in the movies, for dialogues etc. But this version has an even volume level, it is definitely a lost copy of the original material. Cheers!
However, I don't know if it will ever be released. The best time to have released these songs was when they released the enhanced soundtrack, which was a couple years ago, and I'm not too sure if they will come out with a third CD... but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed.

I Want this cd to come to The Netherlands because i'm a HZ fan since The Lion King and the music is just beautifull. Does someone has this cd mail me please ...
All music collectors prefer 128 and above, although most of the songs I own are at 320, so i don't prefer mp3s below 192 ---) And BTW this bootleg is not a legal one, if you're a die-hard lion king score fan, i'm afraid you gotta look for this unofficial release. Keep hunting! :-)
And yes, there's a pretty nice difference between 128 and 192 kbps, 128 is just the CD quality, while 192 kbps provides more clear sound, less hissing, distinct percussion and more quality stereo effect (IMHO anyway :-)
BTW I just got the SFX bootleg and found out that it is actually a DVD rip - the music not only has SFX but also has certain volume and speed variations in places like in the movie, very noticeable in the opening of the stampede track. So, this new bootleg has clearly obtained from some copy if the original material, and is not a rip, confirmed (YAY!) :-)
