me im a huge fan of the lion king and personly loved all of the tracks but i do have a question.... why dident the ever make a sequel to the lion king 2... you know showing what happens to kovu and kiara and there children if they had any
I personally would absolutely love to hear an extended version of the King of Pride Rock track, well, to be precise just the fight-scene between Scar and Simba, i truly feel that's one of the most epic scenes in a movie and the most awesome piece of music i've heard, it's way too short!
Bob down there is right, we really need to have a petition for an official complete release, like godzilla! Please mention it here if you guys ever make one so i can sign too!
frig it, we need to make a petition!!! I really mean it to. It's not fair. This is one of my top 10 favorite soundtracks and all I get is some poorly named, low quality stuff. Come on we have to. Someone create a petition so Disney could release this beautiful work of art. Or maybe to Zimmer.
Why is the music slower than how we hear it in the movie, I heard that the score was recorded like that then for the movie they were able to speed it up ?
this oughta be made available to the public asap!! once the full power of this score has been unleashed people will begin to see the world with different eyes and start loving each other
This score is simply amazing. I'm sure Mr Zimmer still owns the original recording and even though he may not be able to release it because of copyright reasons, he probably could somehow arrange for its being leaked to the internet so we can appreciate the full extend of his masterpiece.
I always thought that if the Complete/Expanded scores contained on this site will ever be officialy released, they will make more money than with the already official CD's.
I still can't see why Zimmer and his producers never released this soundtrack... I bet it was an inside thing and Zimmer really wanted it released but something happened within the company (blah blah).
I think its a nice arranged score, for me it seems the tempo is slowed a little in some times (Asension) and (To Die For). Either ways this is Lion King and as an academy award winner its a superb release.
Finally after 12 years we can hear the complete masterpice of Hans Zimmer!
I had a question, I have all the tracks and I read how your supposed to change the khz to 48 but I have no idea how to do this, I really want to get these tracks to the right speed. I would really appreciate if someone can give me directions on how to do this, I'm using windows media player version 9 if that helps any.
Hi Lotman, to answer to some of your questions : - Nearly all tracks have a wrong speed except those : all the songs (circle of life, be prepared) and the 2 "alternate" at the end. - The album tracks are not rerecordings. These are mixes from some samples with a small audio mastering. *This Land : mix between tracks 3 & 17 from complete score. *To Die for : short edit of track 8 + 9 of complete score. *Under the Stars : short edit of beginning of track 17. *King of Pride Rock : short edit of track 19.
But hey guys, if you don't know what music is on both albums, why purchasing a complete score ??? :P
