What about his last cover of "Wicked Games"? What a great surprise! Actually, all the themes are being updated every week. Ramin's stealing the show again!Greetings! I have a question regarding the placement of certain cues. Here, "Mycroft Is Nude" is placed where it plays in the film. However, on the sheets, it's shown as being after "Paris Bombing Investigation." Was the scene originally supposed to be later in the film? I'd be curious to know.just beautifulThis is a whole new side of his music as compared to what we normally hear.Black Widow has been moved to Nov. 6th, so we'll het Balfe's sckre at the end of the year.<br><br>Mulan has been moved to July 24th.

This is a highly underrated album. It's nothing short of a masterpiece, a modern opera. The choir is beautiful, and the choice of gospel for the first track gives it a unique identity, though I'm not sure how well it meshes with the orchestra. It feels a bit off, but will hopefully improve for me on further listens. <br><br>The composition, has to me, elevated Powell to the status of the second best living composer (Williams is still first for now). It's pure orchestral beauty and mastery with variety of texture, color, and style, with seamless tonal transitions. The complexity rivals some of the great works of the past. <br><br>It's strange to me that this is called "choral works". But once they decided to overhaul the film, they pressured him to go that exact direction. Things stayed still for a while (in which he still got paid) before he was finally let go very late into production. So the idea he sorta just left is interesting, so I'm curious to hear what that was about.<br><br>For BW, it seems very likely to me that Marvel simply were unsure about Alexandre's music, so I'm guessing they hired Balfe to do some demos and decided from there. Who knows what the exact timeline is, but I'd wager it'd have to at least be this year if he's been on it a bit. Especially with AD's name having stayed on the posters during it.Hybrid, Desplat left Rogue One just for his own idea? Very moving letter by James L. Brooks. It seems like Hans is the nicest guy on earth.
The score is astonishing. No idea why is overlooked.

Btw, why does Heitor Pereira only get an "additional arrangements" credit when he got an entire track solely credited to him. Don't want to be nitpicking but one should give credit where it is due.

This is one of my favorite Zimmer's scores. It is very sublime and moody, constantly at the "low level", and it can fit into many things. It's one of those scores that you have to listen through a couple of times to be able to understand it.

It's definitely a five star score for me. I don't know how Hans did it, but he perfectly captured the emotions of an immigrant living in the US. There's sadness and timidness at times, but you can also hear nobility and sincerity. Personally, it's one of the best scores Hans has done.

Spanglish is one of my favorite movies/scores. I think both deserve more attention. This is not just a "funny comedy".

The music is very beautiful and emotional, but not too sentimental... it supports the story very well. Especially the beach scene is wonderful. I like the piano part. (...but I'm just wondering, who played the piano? All the names of the orchestra member and soloist are listed on the album, except pianist...)

The other day I saw this film again, and I was surprised there are so many music not in the album. Most of them are very short cues or another arrangement of the released stuff, but I think some of them are very beautiful and deserve official release. They should have released them instead of that horrible song at the end! :(

Anyway, I'm looking forward to next collaboration of James L. Brooks & Hans Zimmer! :)

BEAUTIFUL..... 'bus stop' and 'spanglish' are really magnficent. I love this piece of music. It's simmilar to 'Nyah and Ethan" from MI2 score which is also great. Mr Zimmer I beg You to do more music like that theese guitars are marvellous

Hey!!!! Cuando escuché la música pude sentir la diferencia de que no se trataba del clásico ritmo español... aquí se trata de un ritmo mexicano... Señor Hans, yo lo admiro por el ritmo etnico que siempre logra componer para el contexto del film... espero que haya escuchado música marichi... en especial, tiene un buen guitarrista Heitor...
