I know. It almost feels like someone took the trailer, muted it and put this music over it. It's hard to believe it's actually legit. And oh so glorious that it is. :DNo dialogue, no clue of what the story is, only gorgeous landscapes and nostalgic 90s music: was this trailer made for RCP fans only?

Without a doubt the movie is for 0-4 year old kids only, but this is a very nice video.Tim posted the credits on page 5 back in January of 2011. Seriously people, do some research. But still a thanks to Hybrid. Rather low, m'friend. Hans Zimmer scores almost never get expanded releases. Hans himself isn't big into those, for some reason (he would do well to learn from Lorne Balfe in that regard... :P). The only reason The Dark Knight got an extended release was because the movie was so immensely popular and that would give the studio even more money. I assume the same can be said for the upcoming Man of Steel album: either the studio is convinced that the film will make a lot of money, and so releasing more music is worth it, or Water Tower had grat sales with The Hobbit's score.

Either way, I wouldn't hold out for a Batman Begins "official" expanded release short of divine intervention. Though believe me, I'd be quite happy if such a thing happened.What's the probability of this score seeing an official expanded release like the second movie got?Everything except "We built our own world" is a suite.
That track is actually a trimmed version of "Dreams or Memories"How's that?For those wondering what album tracks are cues vs. suites, it looks like the cues (perhaps edited) are:

Half-Remembered Dream (Warner Bros and Syncopy logos, slightly extended)
Radical Notion (Ariadne building a dream)
528491 (the "disappointed" scene where Fischer opens the safe)
Dream Within a Dream (a mix of fighting in the snow and walking through limbo)
Waiting for a Train (an edited version of Cobb's confession to Mal)
Paradox (Cobb going back to get Saito from Limbo)
Projections Bonus Track (the beginning mission)
Don't Think About Elephants Bonus Track (an edited version of the second part of the fortress fight)

Then the following would be suites:

Mombasa
One Simple Idea
Time
Old Souls
We Built Our Own World
My favorites are "An Idea Is Like a Virus", "Mr. Charles", ""Into the Van", and "Fischer and Son", as well as the Time Suite. :)If I had to guess, I would say the purpose of the cue sheet is to determine what goes where...Not to document all the music written/used, necessarily...I dunno. It is a shame, though. The film version of Backup is intense.This reminds me: can anyone tell me why these scores contain cues as originally recorded, but not the final film versions also/instead (like Backup)?JNH's Harvey Dent theme is beautiful.Say what?
MTV Trailer Music original version?this is mgbube and i have to say i am playing the violine and these noise do not sound like harmonics to me it sounds like shit ass recording flub or botched up special effect either way it is annoying is there some way to clean it up thanks mgbubethis is mgbube for ggctuk this is ancient message you have dug up there and this person medivh has never again shown up here so it is not stupid to assume his allegations were false i have very old interviews and will have a look at them sooner or later to clear up what hans said about amount of music composed for masterpiece the lion king thanks mgbubethis is mgbube for ggctuk what artifacts could be introduced into the music by so called downsampling can you please elaborate thanks mgbubethis is mgbube for ggctuk i am telling my idea of what missing music is one has to be the warthog rhapsody because there is no way it can not be the warthog rhapsody please see for yourself on youtube it is there thanks mgbube

I watched the movie again recently (great stuff) and I had never noticed before that a few of the cues were arranged somewhat differently in the film ("To the Roof" has electric guitar not on the album, "Gathering Data" has an extended ending, "Berlin Foot Chase" is somewhat extended, etc...).

It's a great score from Powell that makes the movie all the more enjoyable, as well as the best Bourne score, in my opinion. Although it's too bad the Hotel Brecker music (heard when Bourne is looking up info on Neski and when Pamela Landy visits Abbott) is not on the album.

I know! It was even re-used in Ultimatum, but wasn't on that album either! :(

Ele reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-13 00:00:00
Yes, maybe theres isnt too much NR music from Ultimatum, but i just want End Credits with new "To The Roof" variation :)

Ravi Krishna reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-13 00:00:00
I think the Ultimatum complete score isn't out yet. But I think there isn't too much music missing from Ultimatum, because quite a lot of cues from Identity and Supremacy were reused for it.

Ele reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-12 00:00:00
By the way, is there a complete score for Ultimatum?

Ele reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-12 00:00:00
Yeah, the complete score is really good :) Goa Chase rocks as well, but too bad its just another "Waterloo" from Ultimatum, although its better

Ravi Krishna reply Replies: 0 || 2009-10-12 00:00:00
Yup, it's great to listen to the Goa Chase music in its full glory now! :)

I listen to this music almost every night. It really touches me like no other music, ever. I can feel every note!

Thank you.

To me this is an utterly awesome soundtrack. I can listen non-stop without getting tired of it. Powell has mixed together so many different parts to create a piece of music with so much going on. I can't get enough of the bourne music. He brings together both emotion and adrenaline with the most successful consequences I have ever heard in film music. Other Powell soundtracks such as Paycheck (rachel's party) provide similar effects but never to such a high standard. Thanks, John, this music is wonderful.

Thank you Anthony! I guess, I won't have another choice but following your instructions. I was already wondering about doing that but still hoped to find another possibility to get the song in CD quality...
Anyways, great site you built up there ;)
Cheers!

I agree Horst, for that music to be missing is a crime against nature. Take a look at the FAQ on my site for info: www.johnpowellcomposer.com

Also love this movie and the soundtrack!!
What I was surprised about is that the song appearing during the chase in Goa and once again in the end titles after Moby's Extreme Ways is missing on the soundtrack.
Does anyone know why and where you can get it?
Besides To The Roof this is the best song played in the movie and just totally missing on the soundtrack... :'(

All I want is the full song, is that too much to ask.

FUCKKK

Anthony reply Replies: 0 || 2007-08-11 00:00:00
Yes, because posting the full song on this website would be illegal.

Now go buy the thing off iTunes or something. It's under $1. :)

"Because you are providing a download that does'n exist".. does that deliberately make no sense at all?

Yes yes, John Powell doesn't conduct. Hardly ever, actually. He said so on the Supremacy DVD - there's a special feature alllll about the music.

Despite what is written above, Powell did not conduct the orchestra. As per usual it was Pete Anthony. :)
