Dark Phoneix is more playable than Dunkirk, more thematic in my opinion, and don't agree with that opinions saying are the same, specially when Dark Phoenix has more in common with the early 2010s and some of the 90s score by Zimmer.I don't find the similarities between Playful Secrets and Home Alone, mostly the track (and the most part of the score) reminds more to Danny Elfman than John Williams, even Goldsmith, which his synthesizers sounds, are pretty unique, much more than Jablonsky in this score, but i give that sounds like a 80s synthesizer. Please Inception be next!!
There are tons of music in the film that didn't make it to the soundtrack. That's great. I personally like Dark Phoenix more than dunkirk, I feel pretty good visiting Xperiments.

The funny thing (and I can identify with your anecdote), is that every time I do homework with my son, I put music on him (not just Hans), but he also gets to recognize just by listening to a fragment or the main theme, a example is le petit prince, the lion king and the hobbit., among others recognizes them. He's only 4 years old and I'm funny because he asks me for music to do his battles.
quite an experience hahaI have a feeling Hans doesnít even know about this release lol. Itís so lazily done. I hope the packaging makes up for it tho.

Iím crossing my fingers for Dunkirk but I donít think itíll ever happen. That
Awesome news. But next time Hans should just include the entire score along with those tracks. I also think that he should release an extended version of Dunkirk because there is so much material in the movie that hasn't been released.I'm gonna have to agree with MrZimmerFan that it sounds more like Danny Elfman style, especially because of the choir.More than anything else "Playful Secrets" sounds like it's straight out of Home Alone. Definitely Williams more than Elfman for me.

This score is one of my favorites from Jablonsky. The retro synths are almost Goldsmith-like in places which is awesome to hear. And it's one of the very few post-Steamboy scores of his that brings back some of that Steamboy adventurous spirit. Would be great to hear him do this sort of thing again one day.Oh... And No Time For Caution was already included on the Illuminated Star Edition (hidden track on CD2)... Sad...well that's disappointing -.-
Just checked the Amazon page and the track listing is essentially the same as the Illuminated Star Edition (with No Time For Caution and Day One Dark added on)film version of No Time for Caution would be amazing

Day One Dark in higher quality than 256kbps MP3 would be cool tooJesus!

If this is a new precedent for companies to release past (and future) works expanded than sign me up. I love the option of having both a normal OST release and a complete. Saves having to wait for sessions lolOh my god yes "Quantifiable Connection" and "Day One Dark" at last properly released, maybe ?EXPANDED EDITION OUT ON NOVEMBER 13th, 2020!

"including additional music that was not available on the standard CD and digital releases of the original soundtrack"

https://filmmusicreporter. com/2020/09/23/watertower-music-to-release-interstellar-expa nded-edition-soundtrack-album/
As it was written for the movieThis mean the recording sessions?First Jedi Fallen Order, now Solo? I love this news! And I get the distinct feeling both releases are being used to determine interest in further Star Wars expanded score releases further down the line! Only real bummer is no CD to go on the shelf, but I'll take this any way it comes! He's just posted in his Instagram story that in 9 days he has more interesting stuff coming.

Very curiousFantastic! Looking forward to that variation on Duel of the Fates! Now the only complete Powell collection I'm looking for is HTTYD 3.

Thelma and Louise ist still one of my favoured movies. Aside the stunning action and the apperance, in particular of Susan Sarandon, I love the music-clips each time affiliated to the situation. It makes me feel what it means to loose and to win!
I am please that after all Hans Zimmer got a Star on that fabolous Street. To all the members of the Hans Zimmer - Team, my thanks for such a devotion, and for giving us such great memories.
