I have a question about a song from this documentary that is not on the soundtrack. Could anyone please tell me the track at approximately 47:35? Thunder is cracking, Pantani begins his attack on the Galibier, and Matt Rendell is there with eloquent narration. I got so swept up in the score at this point that I spent over an hour rewinding and Shazaming and looking up all of Balfe, Aruj, and Dworetsky's music I cound fine. Any help would be much appreciated!

Thaks,
SamThey all sound the same. Bland.So what do you think about the westworld competition and what is your most favorite entry?In sound quality (regardless of what certain peope might say about how great LPs sound; it's an analog format) the bootleg already trumps it I guess...I have the same question as well
It could be possible, but there would be too many seconds of overlap between some of these tracks for that to be a possibility in this specific case. I really hope they haven't cut down the tracks to fit on vinyl, otherwise the bootleg will trump it in terms of content.Maybe the different time lengths is due to tracks slightly overlapping each other (as in many HZ soundtrack releases)?Comparing the track times listed here, it seems (at first glance) that many of the tracks are edited down from the complete cues as heard on the bootleg. Could the listed track times be simply incorrect, or have edits been made to make the score fit onto four sides? I guess we can find out when the record ships in July.

Additionally, for those without a record player it sucks that a CD release was not possible for La-La Land. Whatever the reasons are for that, it's a bizarre situation that one independent label can release the same material on vinyl but another cannot on CD. Quite perplexing...@Hybrid, will you make the Scoob Page?Perhaps "The Cistern (Alternate)" is the album version. The music I heard in the film is not 100% the same with the track I heard in the OST.
Dang I cant wait to hear the Alternate 'Cistern' cueVinyl only...How dumb can you getLol, you’re right! I though that was Rambo III climbing the cliffs for a moment.LLL made MI 1 Complete. So they are trying to make MI 2 Complete. That could move Varese to make MI 3 Complete. But studio (Disney) don't want it.Use the Wayback Machine on Archive.org - it's all there! :)
@Zimson
404 not found dudeWhy would a studio allow a vinyl release but no CD or digital release? That's utter nonsense. Almost like they're refusing to make money.Any clue on where to find this Complete Score?.. and people wonder why there's "bootlegs" out there...Next time, we can expect a wax cylinder release... :(

So it seems Zimmer - though credited as one of the two main composers - was barely involved here...Also, to my surprise, my favorite piece of music from the score (the very Zimmer-ish Ladder Chase aka Escape By Ladder) was not composed by Zimmer. Not even by John Powell. So props to Badelt and Zanelli.

This is the version of the score that I have. Can someone help me figure out how this matches to the tracklist on this site? Some of them are obvious, others a little less so ("Long Dies/On the Hunt" is the same as "Doctor at Diner", right?), still others are just confusing. :p

I have the 2-track album version.

Whats the deal with this, Hybrid? Why so short, why is it called Action Demos, etc?

Anonymous2011-04-25 14:22:40
I agree with you on this. Having a 30-minute soundtrack just isn't good enough. We demand the complete film score of Chill Factor!!!!!!

Anonymous2011-04-26 00:19:45
Maybe someone will release it one day on the shrine

Anonymous2011-04-26 02:29:15
I'm sure it's gonna pop up soon...

HZLeaks2011-04-26 05:32:57
No word from Hybrid on this?

T-Mann0362011-04-26 22:12:29
So far... not yet. But I'm sure that the soldier will-- but not too soon.

How about we go 3 for 3? We need the complete film score BADLY!!!!!

I'm with you too Iceboy. I wish there was a COMPLETE score of Chill Factor.

Iceboy reply Replies: 0 || 2011-02-17 00:00:00
Me too. All the other bootlegs are DVD menu rips of extremely short cues, but the "action demos" are the best album for listening to full-length tracks from the score. I wish a complete version would leak.

I wish there were more tracks from the film. Although the picture DID flop, I wouldn't mind listening to the expanded version.

Chill Factor est une oeuvre fort sympathique de Zimmer et John Powell, qui doit beaucoup au motif d'action entendu dés l'introduction de End Credits
