Well, okay then. No hope for an expanded Begins release, I guess.Will definitely want this score.Yes, the Transformers score was planned from the very beginning, and it was decided to have it released at the same time as the DVD.<br>Not knowing that, many people got pissed, and started a (useless) petition.There is a crude recording of the Be Prepared Reprise, it's even sung by Jeremy Irons (or Jim Cummings, I can't tell them apart).What I'm saying is there was stuff recorded that has never seen the light of day. For instance, the Be Prepared reprise. That was near-finished (it had an instrumental track, I think the hyena chorus had yet to be finalized).
The CD was always planned. Like Armageddon, just very bad timing...Kinda like TDKR....movie sounds better than album.Actually, if I'm remembering correctly, I believe it was a petition that got the first Transformers score released (and that was an excellent album if you ask me!).Do petitions work for this kinda thing?I don't suppose there are any petitions for a two-disc BB soundtrack floating around, are there? :P

i looooooooove the thunderbirds movie soooo much and i think Gordon tracy(Ben Torgersen), Scott Tracy(Philip Winchester), John Tracy(Lex Shrapnel), Virgil Tracy(Dominic Colenso), Brains(Anthony Edwards), Alan Tracy(Brady Corbet) and Jeff Tracy(Bill Paxton) were all so cute and good looking

Even if the movie was not a really great show, hans' music is always great with its unique style. Greats pieces for me are : track 2 - international rescue, track 12 - thunderize!, and the zimmer version of track 17 - fab

Zimmer manages to blend and interweave the main theme by Barry Gray into his score wonderfully. Some involving, busy and trademarked of the Zimmer sound action cues although they tire the listener at some points. The use of the electronics and beats is interesting at least and the Theme Zimmer created with the Barry Gray original one as a role-model is compelling and memorable. At times though, the whole score feels a little too much and intense to follow but it fortunately contains some memorable cues to hold on too. Another disadvantage is that it sounds a bit childish and too happy at times, but I am sure this is the movie’s fault. It’s not a film that calls for a masterpiece score! I wasn’t excited at all when I first listened to it but it’s a score that needs some more listens. I would recommend it to anyone who loves the Zimmer action sound with the usual and typical chord procession and cadenzas, and also wants a fine score of this kind with some melodic bursts, lots of electronics and 2 memorable themes, but don’t expect to be excited by anything new or impressive. I would recommend his excellent score for KING ARTHUR over this anytime.
