Yes, is coming this Friday, confirmed by TomI really like this score performed by tom holkenborg of the netflix series "White Lines" and my favorite track is "Infinity" which it was awsome and great dance music i ever heard.<br><br>Btw are any news from the Scoob! Original score by tom holkenborg coming out this friday, right?Time to buy a record player guys!<br><br>Honestly couldn't be more happy about this.yes yes yes!!! the best MI Score :) can't wait!If I saw that cover art without the title text, the MI franchise would have been about the last thing that'd cross my mind. >_<
Thanks to the way certain cues have to correspond to their album titles instead, it's hard to tell currently if this actually has everything from the film. Doesn't help that certain album suites are most certainly not here, and there's likely alt mixes that could've been included. We'll just have to see.<br><br>I get the feeling the reason this is LP only for now is due to Disney (who own Hollywood Records) being allowed to fully oversee this specific release. Any digital and CD re-releases are probably in legal lingo with Paramount, hence why the OST isn't available for streaming currently. Why only expanded?<br><br>The product page says:<br>"Mondo Music, in conjunction with Hollywood Records, are proud to present the premiere vinyl pressing of Hans Zimmer’s complete score to MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 2."<br><br>So, it's the complete score... isn't it?So useless really, yeah... :(Cool release but... Vinyl only ! :/I don't think originally Hans planned it that way. <br><br>Wonder Woman 1984 was supposed to come out November 2019. That didn't happen. No Time to Die wasn't on the radar originally and was originally supposed to come November 2019 as well. He was probably on track to finish Top Gun: Maverick early this year if it wasn't for No Time to Die. <br><br>If you take out WW84 and No Time to Die, he would only have 4 major projects this year (Spongebob, Dune, Hillbilly, and Top Gun).
Hybrid why is Hans taking on so many projects this year? Any insights into that? Why remove them?Because there was no time for him to do WW 1.<br><br>He was on tour for months... Had 2 tours in early 2016/17 + Dunkirk to handle. Wouldn't have worked at all.Really loved that song 'n lirycs. Always became my lulaby on the night. He did...once... ;)
So why exactly did Hans fight for Rupert with Wonder Woman and why is he scoring '84? Not criticizing, I just remember him thinking that it was better for more women to be involved as composers or performers on Wonder Woman projects. <br><br>I don't even necessarily agree with the concept that a woman needs to score a movie about women, I'm just curious why he wanted Rupert in and why he himself took over for the sequel if he felt that way?I would have gone with...<br>Music was good, didn't fit the DCEU, film was the worst thing ever. <br><br>Hans is fine, prefer his older stuff.Hybrid, do you have the Inception credits?Hybrid? Any chance you could upload some unreleased tracks from this to your channel? Or just that suite, that you did but was removed :/Welp, necro thread i guess.

The Scoob film is going to be released on video on demand this May, will Junkie release his score for the film?

MrZimmerFan2020-05-08 18:37:45
In the spots, appear Watertower Music logo, so... it's maybe possible.

MrZimmerFan2020-05-13 20:25:52
According to Tom in his twitter, the score for Scoob!, comes at May 29th

the soundtrack is good, it doesn't even sound like it was Tom. But what a missed opportunity to not use the iconic green hills theme from the game. That's like not using the Super Mario theme in his movie.

mpolonest123 2020-02-13 21:02:38
It could be a situation like Detective Pikachu where the actual piece using the older theme was left off the album, maybe anyone who has seen the film can confirm?

MrZimmerFan2020-02-13 23:33:40
Quite surprised by this one, i was expecting a orchestral score, but is nice orchestrated and tremendously fun score, also much better than Detective Pikachu

The classic Sonic games are notorious for their legal mumbo jumbo leaving a lot of music pieces from being used in most later projects. I guess it's possible that being this a Hollywood production, they could afford at least the Sonic 1 stuff. We'll have to see once more people see the film.

Hybrid Soldier2020-02-15 14:48:10
The classic Sonic theme does appear for a very short (like 20 sec) cue near the end, some comedic piano arrangement of it.

mpolonest123 2020-02-19 19:27:44
I’ve been coming back to “But I Will Always Be Faster” and “Sonic The Hedgehog” repeatedly, I’m genuinely impressed by how strong the writing is in both cues. Honestly it doesn’t sound like Holkenborg (mixing aside).

MrZimmerFan2020-02-20 09:17:46
There is a quite of the trademark style of Tom in this, his percussion, synths and brass

superultramegaa2020-02-20 16:16:33
From what I've seen the score sounds so different because Antonio heavily worked on it (as almost every track is on his soundcloud, or was at one point).

Hybrid Soldier2020-02-20 16:22:39
Have you guys ever listened to anything Tom did in Nederland before saying it's "different" ? :P

mpolonest123 2020-02-20 17:24:15
@Hybrid

I did manage to manage to listen to the Gelukkige score he did, it’s an interesting mix of horror music, emotional piano stuff, and some upbeat pop elements that reminded me of Megamind lol.

Btw, was his concert music for the “Battle of Peace” show ever released? It’s a pretty badass mix of 300, Mad Max, and some epic choral portions.

What a fun little score!

The style isn’t too much from HZ’s animated scores, just with Tom’s usual trademarks (percussion, brass, synths). There are even a few moments throughout that vaguely reminded me of Megamind’s score, esp. in the action sequences.

It’s nothing groundbreaking but it definitely has me more interested in what he will do with “Scoob”...

Judging by the clips of this movie, it will be a good choice.

I can't wait for this one, after seeing those clips

mpolonest123 2020-01-28 14:25:08
LOL!

He has had some experience with animated projects, I’m interested to hear him do more diverse projects like that.
