Budapest, please :(Same question here, is concert in Poland even concidered to occur?if the link doesn't work for some reason, the song is called Cliffhanger Sky High on youtubeHi All, sorry it took so long to upload, My friend helped me set up a youtube channel to upload tracks to. I am very inspired by the classic Zimmer Scores of the 90's. I envisioned A climactic rescue aboard A speeding train for this particular cue.<br> <br>I avoided bringing up the TF films in this thread until AFTER you dragged them into it.<br>===============<br><br>No one dragged anything. <br><br>I briefly mentioned that franchise, among many other things you conveniently ignored (you do that a lot), to prove a simple point: that a director doesn't get to make 5 movies from the same franchise if people aren't enjoying his work. Simple as that. I never talked about the "quality" of each of those movies. Go see the comment again.<br><br>YOU picked up on this and started talking obsessively about the TF. <br><br><br>==============<br>Going after every person that doesn't like Bay and trying to obsessively "debunk" them is psychotic, yes. <br>==============<br><br>Look at your first comment here, pal. Look at it good! Snarky, dismissive, almost trollish, and with a clear intention to provoke people. Let me quote it: "Another day, another Bay film that doesn't know what fun is." <br><br>I only "go after" people who can't share their opinions in a respectful, mature way. There are a lot of comments here I disagreed with. But I never confronted those people. Why? Because they know how to properly share an opinion. <br><br>I only go after people who provoke, make fun of someone/something and troll. I've never "attacked" a person who didn't deserve that kind of response. My post history here speaks for itself. <br><br><br>===================<br>And constantly referring to other people's opinions and whinging about the box office doesn't make you objective, especially with how self-contradictory the latter has been.<br>===================<br><br>Nope. Not even close. <br><br>You're just bitter that I'm using quotes from proven, talented people like Spielberg who support Bay. What quotes can your side use? Just quotes from knucklehead film bloggers and critics who hate half of what Hollywood makes. <br><br>No one with an actual integrity and knowledge of the film business can dismiss what Bay has accomplished. You may not like his stuff, but to completely dismiss him as a filmmaker is.......moronic. Truth is, it's only small fries on the internet who are angry that their favorite mid-level directors aren't as big and successful as Bay.<br><br>That's really the bottom line. <br><br>Speaking of that, who is YOUR favorite filmmaker? Go ahead, share it with us. Let's see who is that PERFECT filmmaker you drool over.<br><br>I'm really curious.<br><br>==============<br>By your own "objective" reasoning, this would make them his worst films. But you don't acknowledge that, because you don't actually care about objectivity.<br>==============<br><br>Huh??<br><br>When did I said that box office success or box office failure means that a movie is good or bad?? I never that. So if you don't mind, stop putting words in my mouth.<br><br>Thank you. <br><br><br>==================<br>You care about faking it when it suits you, and chucking it when it doesn't<br>==================<br><br><br>Kinda ironic coming from the person who ignored the majority of the stuff I said here. Careful cherry-picking, convenient ignoring of stuff, and putting words in my mouth is apparently what you like to do. <br><br><br>================<br>What do you mean "next time?" Your first reply here was calling my opinion a joke.<br>================<br><br>Uhhhh, that's because it IS a joke. Because it is not true and because it was posted with the clear intention to provoke. You are the Negative Nancy here, my friend. Not me. Jesus Christ, even your nickname tells people exactly what they can expect from you......"Cynical Makooti". <br><br><br>====================<br>I didn't insult you for anything other than lying to win an argument<br>====================<br><br>Oh, that's're certainly not winning this argument. I mean, that's obvious. <br><br>And..... I never posted a lie. Just because "your sources" claim something different doesn't mean it's the truth. Pacific Rim wasn't a success - considering the huge expactations and the fact that the movie's budget is $200 freakin' million - and they DID try to start a franchise with 300. They failed. <br><br><br>================<br>Your lack of self-awareness is astounding.<br>================<br><br>That's rich. Coming from the guy who calls himself "Cynical Makooti". The guy who now plays the victim, even though he was the one who started this with a childish, trollish comment. <br><br>Look at my first reply to you. I was jokingly mimicking your style. Intentionally. Then you tried to be a smartass with your next reply. But EVEN THEN, I responded in a normal way with my second post. After unleashed your true self. <br><br>And now, you're acting like the victim: "Poor me, being attacked by a crazy Bay fan!" <br><br>So please, don't talk about self-awareness. It ain't working.<br><br><br><br>================<br>Pacific Rim was a domestic bomb that turned things around with its international box office.<br>================<br><br>Haha, maybe you should read more Forbes. Take a look at what they said about the entire (already failed) Pac Rim universe. Read a bit more on how much money the studio lost from the first flick and why they actually went with a sequel. It ain't because the first one was a beloved hit. <br><br><br>=======<br>The Last Knight lost about $100M according to Paramount themselves. That doesn't sound like an international success to me.<br>=======<br><br>Okay, I believe you. Now, would you please share the link to that statement from Paramount. <br><br>Thank you. <br><br><br>=============<br>Maybe it does to you, but I can't speak for that little fantasy world you seem to be living in right now.<br>=============<br><br>Hey, it's certainly a better and more reasonable place than your world. A world where you completely dismiss and ignore the accomplishments of one of the biggest filmmakers out there.<br><br>What's your next claim? <br><br>That Donnie Trump is the best President in history?<br><br><br>Have a nice day!
Do any of you think that Junkie's Justice League score will ever get released or leaked? I was really excited to hear how Junkie planned on developing the themes used in the prior DCEU movies. Especially the Batman themes from BVS. It's a damn shame how WB handled that film."Why do Bay naysayers pretend that Bay only directs TF movies? It's very interesting...... Pretty much all complaints against Bay are connected to the TF movies.<br><br>Newsflash: Bay was a proven and very successful action filmmaker wayyyyyyyyyyyyy before TF1."<br><br>Newsflash: I avoided bringing up the TF films in this thread until AFTER you dragged them into it. Only then did I treat them as fair game. Considering they make up a third of his filmography, I don't see why I SHOULDN'T address them. How convenient is it that bringing them up is only ever valid when YOU do it?<br><br>More to the point, I already said I thought his decline kicked in from Pearl Harbor onwards. The TF films are just his rock bottom.<br><br>"So let me get this straight: trying to be as objective as possible, in a non-threating way, quoting people who actually know what they're talking about and certainly not treating my opinion as fact, makes me......psychotic."<br><br>Going after every person that doesn't like Bay and trying to obsessively "debunk" them is psychotic, yes. And constantly referring to other people's opinions and whinging about the box office doesn't make you objective, especially with how self-contradictory the latter has been.<br><br>Pain & Gain and 13 Hours, his supposedly best films, also have his lowest box office turnouts. 13 Hours was a flat-out bomb. By your own "objective" reasoning, this would make them his worst films. But you don't acknowledge that, because you don't actually care about objectivity.<br><br>You care about faking it when it suits you, and chucking it when it doesn't.<br><br>"Next time, I'll just act like a complete jerk, insulting everyone and everything."<br><br>What do you mean "next time?" Your first reply here was calling my opinion a joke. You already have this method down. You're just too dishonest to admit it.<br><br>Notice how I avoided accusing you of anything until AFTER you started outright lying about movies and flaunting it as objective fact.<br><br>You insulted ME first, pal. I didn't insult you for anything other than lying to win an argument. Not for your opinions, not for your celebrity crush, for being a disingenuous twat. <br><br>Your lack of self-awareness is astounding.<br><br>"Reviews, RT scores, and crappy film blog "think pieces" are also not proof of quality."<br><br>Then it's a good thing I never quoted a single one of those, let alone as objective proof, isn't it?<br><br>Man, appeal to authority, appeal to popularity, mistaking correlation for causation, slothful induction, strawmanning, I could make a bingo game outta this.<br><br>"So that flick, according to you, turned a profit.......but TLK - budget of also $200 million and with a worldwide gross of $605 a bomb?"<br><br>Not "according to me." According to the studios that make the actual films. And Forbes. Remember Forbes? You considered their word inarguable fact a couple posts ago.<br><br> ic-rim-and-more-domestic-flops-that-became-global-hits/#3f3e 914d7c18<br><br>Well whaddaya know?<br><br>Pacific Rim was a domestic bomb that turned things around with its international box office.<br><br>That thing you said TF5 was but actually wasn't.<br><br>The Last Knight lost about $100M according to Paramount themselves. That doesn't sound like an international success to me.<br><br>Maybe it does to you, but I can't speak for that little fantasy world you seem to be living in right now.<br><br>Wow! Just wow!ThxSeville, The Bait, Ambrose Welcomes Nyah, Chimera Myth, Beach Fight, Ambrose Dies. Can we stop? I agree with the other guy more in his points, but it's clear that this is gonna keep going nowhere if you're gonna be so overly defensive about something that you claim is merely subjective.
But here we are, calling dog-humping, Decepticon testicles, and mommy-on-pot-brownies "challenging the viewer."<br>======================<br><br><br>Why do Bay naysayers pretend that Bay only directs TF movies? It's very interesting...... Pretty much all complaints against Bay are connected to the TF movies.<br><br>Newsflash: Bay was a proven and very successful action filmmaker wayyyyyyyyyyyyy before TF1. <br><br>So no, "challenging the viewer" is not about Transformers. You chose to focus on these movies. Not me. I was actually reffering to Bay movies like The Island and especially Pain and Gain. <br><br>But I guess you like to talk only about Transformers.....Good for you. But that's not how a discussion works. <br><br><br>===================<br>Instead of accepting that your love of Bay is nothing more than a opinion, just as my claim that he misses the point of what makes action movies fun is, you turn into an overly-defensive nut, desperately quoting every opinion piece under the sun to pretend your opinion is some statistically-backed fact. I've seen you do this every time someone talks shit about Bay around here. It's psychotic.<br>===================<br><br><br>So let me get this straight: trying to be as objective as possible, in a non-threating way, quoting people who actually know what they're talking about and certainly not treating my opinion as fact, makes me......psychotic? <br><br>Wow! Just wow!<br><br>Next time, I'll just act like a complete jerk, insulting everyone and everything. For you, that is apparently the normal behavior.<br><br><br>======<br>Bad movies make money. Everyone knows that, and everyone knows that's not proof of quality.<br>=======<br><br>Reviews, RT scores, and crappy film blog "think pieces" are also not proof of quality. Also, a "bad" movie to you is the greatest movie for the guy walking next to you on the street. As Kevin Smith said: "Every movie is someone's favorite movie". <br><br>Let's try to keep that in mind.<br><br><br>============<br>That's not just a domestic bomb, that's a bomb altogether.<br>============<br><br>Really?<br><br>Then what do you have to say about Pacific Rim 1. I present to you.......the pure numbers:<br><br>Budget: $200 million. And that doesn't include the marketing cost.<br>Worldwide gross: $411,002,906<br><br>So that flick, according to you, turned a profit.......but TLK - budget of also $200 million and with a worldwide gross of $605 a bomb?<br><br>Wow!!Yeah lol back then only Harold was confirmed. Can you tell me a names of cues, that was been on Klaus website?Formality indeed. Complicated ! lol<br><br>You can bet Blake Neely didn't need anyone to "write" those 10 seconds !! lolI always found these credits to be a bit confusing. Klaus Badelt is credited on almost every cue, even when his themes don't appear and another additional composer is credited as well. I thought maybe it was just a formality that Zimmer and Badelt were credited everywhere (I mean, how much could they be involved on a cue like "Welcome to the Caribbean"?), but then "No real ship" and "Sword Fight Pt. 2" have no Badelt for some reason. Does someone know a bit more about this?
well the composer confirmed he is working on it to be released very soon<br>"It's funny tho......people always complain how Hollywood plays it safe and how movies don't take chances..........but when a movie with tonal shifts that challenge the viewer and offer something bold shows up, people bitch and complain."<br><br>I didn't think it was possible for a Bay fan of all people to be this insufferably pretentious.<br><br>I thought that was more Snyder fanboy territory.<br><br>But here we are, calling dog-humping, Decepticon testicles, and mommy-on-pot-brownies "challenging the viewer."<br><br>Kudos, man. Kudos.<br><br>You can hide behind however many fallacies you want. If "Not to me" and "You do you" didn't give it away early on in this thread, I DIDN'T try to treat my opinions as fact.<br><br>But that doesn't mean I'm going to add a little "IMO" at the end of every goddamn sentence just to coddle you. <br><br>On the flip-side, consistently making appeals to authority and popularity, "B-b-but Spielberg said!", "B-b-but the Forbes poll said!" don't make you objective.<br><br>Y'know, it's funny. When I listed off better blockbuster examples, you could've very easily just argued against them on the level of the films themselves, and everything would've been fine.<br><br>Sure, you would've just claimed you can't see the action at night sooner, which is rich when you praise the film series that puts the subjects of its action scenes OUT OF FOCUS every other shot, but hey, that's just honest opinions versus honest opinions.<br><br>But using two belated half-assed sequels from different, less talented directors that lost most of the appeal of the first movies, as some sorta litmus test for how well-liked the first movies were, is the biggest bunch of bullshit I've ever heard. That's not objectivity, that's not even confusing correlation with causation, that's saying 1+2=4.<br><br>That's the real joke here. Instead of accepting that your love of Bay is nothing more than a opinion, just as my claim that he misses the point of what makes action movies fun is, you turn into an overly-defensive nut, desperately quoting every opinion piece under the sun to pretend your opinion is some statistically-backed fact. I've seen you do this every time someone talks shit about Bay around here. It's psychotic.<br><br>Bad movies make money. Everyone knows that, and everyone knows that's not proof of quality. But if that's the kinda road you wanna go down, I guess movies like Avatar, The Force Awakens, or all the Avengers movies, are "objectively" better movies in every conceivable way than anything Bay has made in his entire career. I mean, CLEARLY those films must have a bolder style and push more boundaries.<br><br>Why else would more people watch and rewatch them, right?<br><br>Reasonable causation is for those goshdarn geek journos.<br><br>And by the way, The Last Knight lost money. Period. Almost 100M according to Paramount themselves.<br><br>That's not just a domestic bomb, that's a bomb altogether.<br><br>Have a nice day.Siding with the guy that lied through his teeth to feign objectivity seems like a bad call.<br>==================<br><br>Kinda ironic, coming from you....but I'll take it as a compliment. Thank you! <br><br>And yes, he sides with me because what I say is common sense. For whatever reason, you have these strong negative feelings toward Bay films and those feelings blind you to some pretty obvious truths. <br><br>Have to say tho - for a 'hater' you sure know A LOT about him, his style and his movies. <br><br>Just admit it - you are a huge Bay fan but you just want to score some points with the snobbish internet crowd. <br><br><br><br>============<br>In any case, modern Bay and Snyder don't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Fury Road.<br>============<br><br>Oh, you're one of THOSE people......"Fury Roaaaaaaaaad is DA BEST FILM EVAAAAAAAA".<br><br>Let me guess: you also think that Nolan is the greatest director/person of all time. On par with Jesus himself. <br><br><br><br>==========<br>What DOES matter is scripts with razor focus, sharp pacing, witty and/or charming humor (if it wants humor, that is), and characters likable enough to carry us through the narrative.<br>==========<br><br>Which is what Transformers 1 is. <br><br>Which is why the movie connected with audiences. It was - at its heart - a story about a boy and his car. Even the most jaded critics enjoyed that aspect.<br><br><br>=============<br>And again, the likes of Pacific Rim, or 300, or the first Pirates of the Caribbean, or the first Kingsmen, or John Wick, or most Guy Ritchie films, or the better fourth of superhero films, illustrate that Bay and Snyder have no excuse.<br>=============<br><br>Excuse? For what?<br><br>My friend, you do realize that Bay in particular is one of the most powerful and successful filmmakers of all time, right? He is the second highest-grossing director of all time (domestically), only behind Spielberg. You can dismiss box office success all you want but you don't get to where Bay is if you're not good at your job. <br><br>Snyder is nowhere near Bay, in terms of success and influence. Personally, I don't care much about him. <br><br><br>P.S. Guy Ritchie (and Edgar Wright) are huge Bay fans. Ask yourself why. <br><br><br>===============<br>They just aren't very good filmmakers on the whole<br>===============<br><br>Your opinion.<br><br>I disagree.Bay walks the lines between being self-serious and comical, but his films aren't well=written enough to serve the former, or witty enough to serve the latter, and the end-result is droll and annoying.<br>====================<br><br>You sure you're not a "writer" for one of those ridiculous geek sites like Collider, Screen Rant or Slash Film? Because you sound a lot like one of those "beloved" writers. <br><br>Anyway......Yes, Bay's movies always walk that line but whether that works or not is........Yes! a matter of opinion. For me, Pain and Gain is one of the best modern satires while for you it is - I'm guessing - "droll and annoying".<br><br>It's funny tho......people always complain how Hollywood plays it safe and how movies don't take chances..........but when a movie with tonal shifts that challenge the viewer and offer something bold shows up, people bitch and complain. <br><br>Some of you folks are indeed very hard to please. <br><br><br>===============<br>The first POTC earns it. The Bad Boys 2 doesn't. Infinity War earns it. TF 1/2/3/4/5 doesn't.<br>==============<br><br>Okay, now that statement is the best joke of the year! Thank you for the good laugh! Really! Oh, and I've definitely argued with you before, my friend. You are clearly one of those ten Bay haters from the IMDb forums who claim to hate everything the man does, yet they have seen EVERYTHING he had done. Why is that, I wonder?<br><br><br>===========<br>Fitting, as Synder and Bay are cut from a very similar cloth. Difference is, unless we're talking Man of Steel, I'd sooner rely on Snyder for consistently good action sequences<br>===========<br><br>Well, I would trust Spielberg on this. Because it was Spielberg who said, and I quote: "Michael (Bay) is one of the greatest action directors. He has the best eye in Hollywood." Spielberg works with a lot of directors. But he never said anything like that about any other director. So clearly he means what he says about Bay. know......unlike most people, Speilberg actually knows a thing or two about filmmaking. <br><br><br>================<br>300 didn't try to start a franchise. It was a one-off adaptation of a graphic novel in the same vein as Sin City, and was successful. They tried to make a cash-grab sequel almost a decade later, without Snyder, and it failed. That's hardly the first film's fault.<br>================<br><br>It is a clear proof that people weren't that excited to visit this world again. And mind you, that happened with the first sequel! Talk about a one-time thing, huh?<br><br>At the same time, Bay made FOUR Transformers movies - with different casts - before there were any signs of audience fatigue. <br><br>That speaks for itself.<br><br>===========<br>Pacific Rim suffered from lackluster marketing, and yet still managed to turn a profit and attract a strong following.<br>==========<br><br>Excuses, excuses, excuses.....So you can display all the excuses in the world for Pac Rim but when it comes to Transformers, you don't accept anything. <br><br>Double standard much?<br><br>P.S. That "strong following" is on the internet. The same following that was supposed to make Scott Pillgrim a huge hit. Everyone knows that internet hype is not real-world hype. I know very well the type of people who act as if Pac Rim is the best thing since sliced bread. Total geeks who are angry that Transformers is much more popular and much more successful than Del Toro's "let's shoot all the robot fights in pitch black so audiences can't see shit" movie. <br><br>Also, let's not pretend that Pac Rim is a universally beloved film. You know very well that there are A LOT of detractors as well. That's what you get when people can't tell what's going on during the movie because you shot it all at night. Just like that Godzilla movie. <br><br><br>============<br>Versus something like Transformers, which has piggybacked on an established IP, relentless marketing campaigns and tie-ins, and a fairly consistent release schedule. And even then, recycling the same bullshit eventually took its toll.<br>============<br><br><br>Wrong.<br><br>Do you read Forbes? You should. Because it's a place where objective people write. It ain't a stupid militant film geek site like Ain't it Cool News or Screen Rant.<br><br>Forbes published multiple articles explaining in great detail why the Transformers movies were successful EXACTLY because they were directed by Bay. Whether you like it or not, my friend, Bay is a brand. He is an auteur. There were multiple polls before the first two Transformers movies and Bay being the director was one of the main reasons for people to watch the movies. <br><br>But I guess you missed all of that, huh?<br><br>How convenient.<br><br><br>==============<br>Friendly reminder that AoE also relied on China (more pathetically then even Pacific Rim did) to compensate for diminishing domestic returns. To say nothing of TLK outright bombing.<br>==============<br><br>First: according to ACTUAL real data, the only TF movie that was saved by China is.......Bumblebee! Yeah, you better believe it. Go to Deadline and Forbes and read it for yourself.<br><br>Second: TLK bombed domestically, yes. <br>But not internationally. No one with actual knowledge of the situation refers to that movie as an international "bomb". Besides, there were 4 super successful TF movies before TLK. So Bay got nothing to prove. He already created one of the biggfest film franchises in history. <br><br>How many directors can say that?<br><br><br><br>==================<br>I know you like debunking Bay naysayers with "facts and logic," but it helps to not be grossly disingenuous while doing it<br>==================<br><br><br>Goes both ways, my friend. But unlike most naysayers, I don't treat my own personal opinions as facts. And if I'm being "disingenuous" then I don't even know what to say about some Bay haters who refuse to accept even the most obvious facts and truths.nope

Yea I already have it, Meet John Connor is the best

DT-20172017-05-17 17:03:33
No complete score entry on this site for this score? I've edited my own from the sessions leak after careful listening to the film channels to figure out what goes together. I really like it. Some people say it's not good but I feel it captures some of the synthetic qualities of Brad Fiedel's work quite well. And I love the use of the Stormdrum 3 Dragon Ensemble instruments throughout.

Anyway, here's my playlist for it:

CD 1:

01 Better Days/Meet John Connor
02 Work Camp Speech
03 Terminator Arrives
04 I Volunteer
05 Reese Goes Back/Reese Arrives
06 Griffith Park
07 Alley Confrontation-Meet Sarah Connor
08 Meet Pops/Flashback 2

@DT-2017, you got a link to share your version? I would like to hear it please. Thank you :)

DT-20172017-05-17 19:18:22
I don't share links publicly and this site doesn't tolerate it anyway.

DT-11382017-06-21 18:12:13
Well over a year on, and still no page for the score leak?

Lorne Balfe2018-02-26 14:55:53
Jesus Christ, HZ put me in charge of this. Luckily the director is a wanker who has no idea over music.

Okay, Fiedel. What Brad? Who is Brad? Anyways, I will do that thumping thing a few times and use my paper synths to cover it.

Here we go. I have no themes, exactly as they wanted.

I sound like an advertisement!

Yes, I have made my impression on the world.

CD version available here.

ggctuk2015-10-16 09:33:18
Yeah, the CD's showing up on Amazon UK. Damn, &#163;30... Shove it, I'm buying it!

ggctuk2015-11-16 08:38:07
Looking back down the page, it looks like Guest got their wish. Anyway, here's a new chrono order:

-Better Days
-Work Camp
-I Volunteer
-Reese Going Back
-Griffith Park
-Confrontation (We are missing parts of this cue)
-Sarah Kicks Ass (The film uses a different mix)
-T-1000 on the Prowl
-It's Really Me
-Still After Us
-1997 or 2017
-Last 1:10 of I Am More (missing the start of this cue up to the 2029 flashback)
-Hospital Fight
-If You Love Me You Die
-Bus Ride
-Golden Gate
-Judgment Day (I renamed this to "Helicopter Chase")
-Come With Me
-Fight (we are missing a small part of this cue where Genisys says "What was it you said? 'I don't think so'."
-What If I Can't? (we are missing the small piece when Pops uses his newfound T-1000 powers to force the bunker door)
-End Titles
-System Online
-Fighting Shadows (this was released as a single)

Then you'd have the suites:
-Fate And Hope
-Sarah And Kyle
-John Connor

ggctuk2015-11-16 11:51:29
Actually, I got a bit wrong there. It's Really Me goes before "Family".

Russel2015-11-15 17:44:12
What, so you can post a list on a forum?

ggctuk2015-11-15 18:39:25
Haha! Yeah, somebody was doing that on another site (we all know which one) in the hopes they could trick somebody else into uploading it.

I miss one epic long track, at the beginning.
the moment when john came from the top and grab kyle's hand. its start with a synthy... fades to the private speak with J & K before he goes up to the big speach... and the final takedown ambush / work camp speach.

i miss exactly these tracks so hard =c

cant find it on the official and unreleased.
any reason?

greetings from frankfurt ;)

ggctuk2015-09-10 22:03:20
Because they chose not to include it?

Maggo2015-09-10 23:36:58
Wooow, thank you!!!... =/

ggctuk2015-09-11 09:03:56
What did you expect? Somebody to magically pop up and provide you with what you are looking for? It doesn't work like that. We're lucky Lorne Balfe even put the unreleased stuff on his website. Composers usually put tracks up as examples of their work but the majority of the time it's usually samples of officially-released tracks anyway.

Maggo2015-09-11 12:11:44
Yes! =j
Hope somebody hear my cry and put the missing track on the unreleased list on lorne's page^^ Sure its naive, but i have seen when composer do some fan-service. awesome move!

ive wondering nobody missed the track too, sorry to be individual.
(and sorry for the bad english)

ggctuk2015-09-11 21:43:10
You got nine extra tracks adding twenty more minutes to the CD. This is about the most 'fan service' as is going to happen unless the sessions leak out.

Maggo2015-09-11 23:28:35
i dont get it why you are so harsh to me? (or do i misread something) is it a dumb request? a childish question?

have you not such moment when a track inspired you but you cant an isolated version... i am the only one?

dont get it, but thanks for your time.

Edmund Meinerts2015-09-11 23:46:25
It's not a dumb question, and believe me when I say I think we've all been there. It's just a little, I don't know, naive to expect anything to actually happen based on a post on a fan site.

I'm still waiting for a clean version of the Main Titles (film version) from X-Men 3, for instance... :p

ggctuk2015-09-12 09:35:24
I'm not being harsh. I'm telling it as it is. Of course there are cues I'd love to have - one of my biggest wants, which is not RCP-related, is the score to Digimon: The Movie. I have only half of what was scored for that movie and am aching for some of the moments I remember best. I've done my best to try and get those moments for myself but while I haven't had much luck, going from 0 minutes of score (the OST only included the songs) to 30 minutes of score, not including two tracks posted by Udi Harpaz that are essentially 'concert-style recordings' 9which would bring it up to 37 minutes). I was also lucky to have some of the other music Udi Harpaz composed for Masked Rider and the 1990s Spider-Man before he uploaded those to his SoundCloud account.

If you want this track so bad, why don't you ask Lorne Balfe himself if he'd be willing to share it with you? Most younger composers have Facebook these days so it shouldn't be hard to find him.

Hybrid Soldier reply Replies: 4 || 2015-08-29 10:44:05

thx Hybrid!
unfortunately the "Systems Online" is corrupted for me

Hybrid Soldier2015-08-29 11:48:47
Yeah I see that I'm telling them.

ggctuk2015-08-29 17:20:37
That unreleased stuff is pretty cool. It'll bring up the total time of the OST, and it's nice to have the Reese volunteering/Reese sent back themes.

ggctuk2015-08-29 19:36:21
BTW, that track is NOT corrupted: the player is asking for "Systems Online" but the track is titled "System Online".

I have a question about Dieter he a RCP guy? I saw he did a lot of additional music for Lorne, but then when watching the end credits for guardians of the galaxy, I saw his name...and then realized he does additional a lot for Tyler Bates too.

Guest2015-07-19 19:35:37
So where is the information you said would be available about the physical release because I have searched everywhere and nothing is come of the physical existence of said Soundtrack Album?

Guest2015-07-27 00:17:40
Hybrid where is the physical cd release aye you said you would give information on it a couple weeks ago and you have not given jackshit, I have looked all over the Internet and found nothing of its existence.

So where is the physical release of said soundtrack?

Russel2015-07-29 06:47:30
Dear Guest, stay tuned. You will be pleasantly surprised, actually :)

Guest2015-08-07 18:51:03
Yeah Russel I don't think so this is not going to cd, the movie has been out for a month and a bit now and still no physical cd has come of exsistance and not only that some one asked Lorne if there is a cd version and replied yes in 3 weeks, well we are coming up past the 4 week mark from when he said that.

So unless you can magically just make it happen I stand by the fact I believe this is not going to be a physical album because this guys stuff barely if ever gets to a physical cd.

Russel2015-08-08 01:37:33
It will release I'm pretty sure.

Guest2015-08-11 21:54:54
Yeah russel I highly doubt that because physical soundtrack albums and soundtrack albums in general typically release one of 2 ways.

1. Soundtrack album gets released ahead of the films release Or
2. Soundtrack albums get digital release like this did then a physical album follows a week or two after.

And like I said we are past the 4 week mark from whence Lorne said a cd was coming and again go look yourself buddy there is no physical album in exsistance so yeah I don't think we're getting one unless a label like LaLaLand records gives us one.

I was happy they released age of extinction on cd but pissed off they made it a LE when they didn't add anything noteworthy to the release to justify a LE just took the digital iTunes released and plopped it onto cd, I'd hate for them or some label to do the same with this if they did.

Hybrid Soldier2015-08-11 22:13:53
Lorne signed about 80 physical copies like 2 weeks ago...

But I doubt there'll be a general release... Maybe it'll just end up being promotional limited items...

Guest2015-08-11 22:36:40
And that's exactly the type of shit I just explained could possibly happen and if it did I'd be pissed just like I was for AOE see this is the problem I have with the digital age bullshit we have to fight and beg for physical releases and we shouldn't and i know we still get physical albums for most things but a lot of the time it's also just some digital bullshit till we beg and demand physical copies/releases.

But I read up on that hybrid about him signing some copies but he only did a few though for giveaways for some shit and I doubt I highly doubt it was 80 like you said maybe 15-20 if that.

My point is there is no physical release for general public when there should be and it may end up been another AOE and I don't want that again unless we get something noteworthy should a label release it and call it a stupid LE.

Hybrid Soldier2015-08-11 22:45:31
Look, first, you calm down.

I'm tired of you, it's been a while.

Don't come here tell me I give wrong information. I give what I can. Even Lorne didn't know about a general release.

And honestly ? If the physical doesn't come out because Paramount doesn't give a shit, then that's just too fucking bad ! That's life ! Life is unfair !

And I'm personally perfectly fine with digital, but that's just me... lol

Guest2015-08-11 23:06:54
1. Don't tell me to calm down when I am perfectly fine thank you very much I dunno how you can assume I'm angry or even yelling like you could know anyways but I'm perfectly at ease.

2. I never said you're information was wrong I just said what you said was a little off cause I told you I read up on the thing with him signing stuff and that your number 80 was doubtful highly doubtful especially given it was to do with a damn giveaway.

3. You're probably right that paramount don't give a shit they didn't give a shit for ninja turtles last year so it's no shock if they don't give a shit now for terminator.

4. Then you're part of the problem then when it comes to digital products and digital only.

I dunno if you're a gamer or play games but you sound like one of those idiots that would have been okay with when Microsoft announced their XBONE online only crap, but because of the outcry from everyone and demands they turned that around and did a 180.

If you can't reply or respond when I asked you 2 weeks or so ago about your information regards to physical release why you thinks it's ok to open and say silly stuff now?

Hybrid Soldier2015-08-11 23:25:08
Because I'm not at your orders sir, I was bored by your questions... And yet out of curiosity I still asked Lorne... if you have a problem, contact these guys :

"Skydance Productions LLC & Paramount Pictures"

Acting like a kid on this site won't help you in your "Save the CD" quest. I'm done answering you, I have more important stuff to do... And I'm not a gamer. Been years... But you sure sound like one !

Guest2015-08-11 23:40:25
Good I'm done listening to you and I have better things to do with my time as well but seeing as you act like a jackass given all you responded with I couldn't give two shits.

You're the one I seen people make fun of you cause of you're high and mighty horse and seems think you actually spend quality time and full conversations with these composers like you're one yourself, so I'm not overly supprised by your attitude and responses.

Copy and pasting the label that released this doesn't make you smart either or telling me to contact them as if I'd get anywhere with that you asshat.

Don't bother responding back because I'm done talking to you just as much if not more than you are with me.

Good day

There you go. I used my immensely incredible intellectual machete to summarise the conspicuous conversation culminated between High Lord Hybrid Soldier and our honourable Guest in its entire entirety into one sentence.

keky2015-08-12 11:30:19
Well, it's a pity if they don't release it on CD since I'm not willing to pay for a digital only release. On CD I would buy it and I've been hoping for a physical release mostly because comments on this forum made me think there would be one. Anyway, if this would be the most important problem of my life I would be a happy man! :)

Zimson2015-08-12 12:37:03
Oh man, while you're at spamming paramount, do me favor and ask them why they won't release it on audiocassete. I'm pretty sure the answer will be the same.

Guest 2015-08-12 12:52:09
@steve if you're making that accusation based on me using curse words than you are a stooge.

@RealFfingMusic I like that anology because that's basically what transpired I'm not gonna deny that.

@Zimson I'm not bothering with them cause I know I'll get no where hence ignoring it.

@keky yes I understand that I got that assumption as well but I did some researching myself and nothing exsists of a physical release outside some stuff Lorne signed himself for some giveaway, I sorta get why I see people mocking and making fun of Hybrid because he runs around all over the forum announcing and giving information that actually isn't always concrete information. And he acts like he some freaking soundtrack deity just go look at his response as to why he never responded to my question initially from a couple weeks ago.

I also do not buy digital because I'm for the physical releases only, there is no value what so ever in digital and digital only products.

Steve2015-08-12 22:36:37
Actually, I was thinking of the entitled attitude of your very first posting, before you even started using curse words. Let's summarise your posts:

#1 Entitled
#2 Slightly aggressive with it.
#3 sarcastic
#4 is probably the most calm post you have made
#5 Getting angry
#6 Very angry and aggressive
#7 Still very angry and aggressive, starting to hurl insults
#8 hurling insults but the aggression seems to have toned down a little

I can understand you don't like digital releases. Really, I do. Posting on what is essentially a fan site raging about why there isn't one is acceptable, but you seem to be holding this site personally responsible for there not being a release. Or at least, that's how you are coming across. If you don't like it, Hybrid did suggest one avenue which you rejected. Another would be to contact Lorne Balfe himself. I believe he has Facebook.

Guest2015-08-13 17:56:55

Okay Steve let me start by saying I originally asked my question because hybrid had responded to someone else's question about a physical release if there was any to start with and frankly he came out saying there should be in a few weeks from when he posted he the. Went on to say he was going to give information and let everybody know the details of if and when available.

He never came out with any information what so ever after the fact and that's when I came in with my question and he never answered, then I asked again and once again never answered, someone else had come and told me simply you'll be supprised when really I wasn't and I'm still not supprised.

Not only did he finally come out of his cave he had a attitude right from the get go and actually escalated himself from the very beginning, in one post he even said why he didn't answer my questions initially if anyone is the entitled one from the whole thing it's him.

Like I said I sorta get why when I come on the site and I see people mocking and making fun of hybrid it's because of stuff like what happened in the posts and he acts like he some deity and spends quality time with the composers and labels like he is one himself.

Second I know this is a fan site and not actually run or owned by some entity that doesn't change the fact that he seems to think to be the know all be all, the guy even tried to argue with me about Lorne signing just a handful of things for a giveaway and tried to argue me otherwise.

The hybrid person weather male or female is a jackass.

I have contacted Lorne myself that's why they argued me I starting getting angry cause he thinks he knows better. I can tell you right now there will not be any physical release of this title unless a label like lalaland records or intrada come along and release it cause clearly at this point paramount don't give two shits to give us a physical release, and like I said to @keky there is no value what so ever in digital and digital only products.

I don't normally get riled up in the way hybrid had me get to in some of those posts and in fact up till this point I never even posted anything before.

Russel2015-08-13 21:02:48
I tried to explain to you that it should be getting a release, Guest. I didn't mean for this to go on and on. I'm sorry this happened.

ggctuk2015-08-13 21:37:55
Well this escalated fast.

Let's just let bygones be bygones, and just enoy the music in whatever form, shall we?

Guest2015-08-14 05:13:55
@Russel yeah I know I tried telling you it wasn't going to get one even though I wanted one and still do :) but it not gonna happen unless one of those labels comes along and releases it to us and don't be sorry it's all good, just so you know hybrid escalated it but whatever it doesn't matter because I'm not going to listen to anything or pay attention to the jackass again.

Yes, yes it did there no denying that but it did because of hybrid and yes you are right we should enjoy all music no matter the form but I will not support anything that's digital and digital only no matter how much I love the composers or music if there is not a physical product, there is no value in digital products none what so ever.

So, I've seen the movie, and I liked it. And there were some good music moments in the movie that, typically, don't appear on this soundtrack. However, I'm struggling to remember a chronological order for this soundtrack.

ggctuk2015-07-11 11:18:18
So, figuring out a chronological order after seeing the film a second time. Could use some help, but here's what I got so far:

Better Days
John Connor
Work Camp
Fate And Hope
--You can insert Griffith Park here.
Alley Confrontation
Come With Me
Sarah Kicks Ass
Sarah & Kyle
It's Really Me
I Am More
If You Love Me You Die
Judgement Day
Bus Ride
Still After Us
What If I Can't?

Feel free to chip in and correct me on this order, but I think for the most part this is correct.

ggctuk2015-07-11 12:25:39
I got "Judgement Day" and "Bus Ride" the wrong way round - IIRC, "Judgement Day" scores the helicopter chase. So it should come after "Bus Ride" not before it.

Hybrid Soldier2015-07-11 12:37:34
The chronological order is :

Better Days
Work Camp Speech
(Griffith Park)
Alley Confrontation
Sarah Kicks Ass
Still After Us
It's Really Me
I Am More
If You Love Me You Die
Bus Ride
Helicopter Chase
Come With Me
What If I Can't

Suites :
Fate & Hope
Sarah & Kyle
John Connor

Macejko reply Replies: 6 || 2015-06-30 19:24:53
Lorne's Terminator isn't a bad listening experience, not by a longshot. It's a work of a professional and has a lot going for it in many cues. But... it's also mostly generic as all hell. It could basically belong to any action-oriented movie of the past 15 years. I'll surely listen to it some more, but after 2 and a half listening sessions I can say that "Beyond: Two Souls" stays unconquered.

Ds2015-06-30 23:21:18
Once again when it's not about Ramin, I totally agree!!

Compatto2015-07-01 00:15:41
Totally agree.

mpolonest1232015-07-01 01:07:18
The problem is with this score, it sounds like it belongs more so in a Transformers film than in a Terminator one.

It's not terrible by any means but it's far from the amazing listening experience it should have been. And is terribly generic (although I doubt the film is any good to begin with). The best parts are Balfe quoting Fiedel obviously

ggctuk2015-07-01 15:41:38
I have to agree. When I listened to the Jurassic World soundtrack, I had to listen to it twice before the new themes could sink in. Here, I've listened to it five times since and I haven't taken a single note to memory that hasn't already been used previously. This score is just too generic. There's nothing that stands out at all, aside from pieces that are direct quotations of Brad Fiedel's work (the first section of "Griffith Park", or the whole of "Terminated").

THis is going to sound rather strange, but I don't think it's helped by the fact that the score isn't synthetic enough. T3's score wasn't synthetic at all. Elfman was on the right tracks, while Balfe's score is on a different track, but headed in the same direction. It's just not there.

I'm hoping that when the sessions leak, the listening experience will improve.

Meta2015-07-03 14:12:06
Alas, you are correct...

Since T3 all the scores have gone symphonic...Sure, there's percussion and some nifty SFX to go with the music, but as a whole it just doesn't fit and turns the movie into an action adventure. Beltrami and Elfman made good themes, but they just missed the point.

Terminator should very well sound synthetic.

I figured with Remote Control behind the wheel this time, we'd get that. But in my opinion Balfe just went with Beltrami and Elfman and decided to turn this into a Jablonsky Transformers sounding score with more of your usual symphonic material.

Sure, it's using synths, but to be honest I would have preferred the synths Junkie used in Mad MAx over what was used here. Or hell, drag out Han Zimmer's harsh droning synths from the early 2000s...toss in some more anvil and marching band for the percussion and there you go.

I simply don't understand why this is so difficult. Or maybe it's too simple and that's why they keep missing the mark.

The Terminator Salvation video game score sounds closer to what I was hoping it would sound like than what we got.

Oh well...Nice themes though.

ggctuk2015-07-03 21:29:56
The Terminator Salvation video game correctly included the T-1000 motif, even if it wasn't used in the right context.

If Balfe stays, I'm hoping he leans more towards synth in the next score. If not, then I hope whoever takes over does.

I like it when a soundtrack is released one week before the date previously announced, the last week is always the most painful to wait for a new score. I'd love to have the same surprise with Hans' scores someday :-p

Thank you for the suite Hybrid, it sounds like a good old RC score, well produced and with a nice theme. Sounds a bit like a Transformers score. I hope this pushes Lorne a little further into the light, he deserves it!

Hybrid Soldier2015-06-25 22:23:03
Well, don't you remember Chappie when iTunes screwed up, and instead of "pre-order" status they put it on sale 1 week before the release date ? I bought it right away before they corrected their mistake !! lol

Ds2015-06-25 22:36:33
Hahaha well that's true, I remember discussing that with you at the time, I did exactly the same. I held my breath during the whole download, fearing they would somehow manage to cancel it before I could listen :-p

ggctuk2015-06-25 22:56:35
Sounds fairly typical of what I'd expect. It kind of reminds me of the Trond Viggo-Melsen score to the Terminator Salvation game, only without quite as many heavy themes.

The only thing I really didn't like from what I've heard so far is the non-inclusion of anything to do with the 1984 T-800 arrival or the T-800 vs T-800 fight (which starts out using the classic 'mechanical heartbeat' motif that Brad Fiedel used in the first film). I'm hoping for a more complete leak in the near future.

Batou2015-06-26 00:17:59
Really good score, my favourite of the 5. It just sound like a video game sometimes but it's really cool whatever ! :)

ggctuk2015-06-26 14:44:18
"The Terminator" will always be mine.

Speaking of The Terminator, listen carefully to the end of "Terminated". Rather than just have 'dudun-dun-du-dun" at the end like with the T2 theme, the strings have the four note rise that carries on after the original theme's trumpet solo.

Anonymous2015-06-27 03:42:47
Hybrid, why would you have to buy the Chappie soundtrack? Couldn't you just have asked your "good buddy" Hans to give you a copy of it? Hmmm.

Harry2015-06-28 14:21:47
Does anybody know when the CD version will be available? So far I can only find it as a download and there's no info anywhere about the CD release date. The only thing that indicates that probably will be a physical release as well is a game on the fan page where dedicated albums could be won.

Hybrid Soldier2015-06-28 15:12:14
I can confirm there's a CD coming. Have to be patient, a few weeks... At least 3... Will let you know when there's more info but it's coming.

Tnank you Hybrid Soldier.

In the end credits of the movie, both Lorne and Hans are credited as "synth programmers". So I guess Hans did a little more than just speaking :-p

Hybrid Soldier2015-06-27 13:18:27
Well you know how it is... You help me I help you... :P

Anonymous2015-06-27 17:54:47
define synth programming?
is it like coding on computers, with lots of commands and syntax, etc?

ggctuk2015-06-27 22:53:04
I think in this case it's taking samples in a VST and setting them up and sequencing them. The percussion, for instance, is entirely synth.

theres a track titled Griffith Park thats unreleased that was reeleasd on soundcloud....where would it go, track number wise? just wondering...

ggctuk2015-06-27 07:38:51
I'd guess before "Sarah Kicks Ass", if the album track titles correctly represent their placement in the film.

ggctuk2015-06-27 07:40:14
Looking again, it's possibly "Alley Confrontation" if the 1984 scenes fit the order they did in the first film.

Shore2015-06-26 19:31:49

Guys, if you enter the official site of the movie you can hear the theme.

QScore2015-06-11 16:28:02
But this time the music is shorter and fades out after 1 min. The original cue had a runtime of 2:02 min.

but this theme same, old theme. Just sound quality lol

Hybrid, I just gotta ask. What does the executive music producer do?

Hybrid Soldier2015-06-10 19:06:22
He helps the composer handling the score. He's the middle-man between the film producers / director and the composer. He helps with the general style of the score and makes sure everything goes as planned. He has a word on the final thing "Do this, more of that, avoid this..." etc.

In other words, he TALKS... With everyone. Communication is the keyword. He gives his opinion on everything.

ggctuk2015-06-10 22:29:24
I wonder whose idea it was to bring back Brad Fiedel's theme, given that previous films have failed to do so.

ggctuk reply Replies: 7 || 2015-06-08 22:23:03
Dat Terminator Theme. This is the one thing that I, and everybody else, wanted more than anything in this film. Coupled with the Jim Cameron approval, and the reprisal of the T2 theme is awesome. Count me as pumped for this score and more excited for the film.

The end credits is apparently 7M45.

TFan2015-06-08 23:36:05
What do you know about the theme ?

TFan2015-06-09 00:02:34
Nevermind I found!

ggctuk2015-06-09 00:04:39
Yeah, it was no secret lol. I'm glad that Lorne Balfe chose to keep it as faithful as possible, even if it is a direct cover and not a new arrangement. I think there's only a couple of ways to spin the theme and he had the choice of doing it like the first film's theme or the second film's theme. The second film's theme is more layered, I think.

Boldizar2015-06-09 03:39:39
It isn't the one with the jungle swing drums is it?

ggctuk2015-06-09 11:12:01
I have no idea what jungle swing drums are, but I do know that it was on the Paramount site until this morning when they pulled it. It'll be everywhere else by now, though, including a certain site whose name I cannot actually type here because it gets censored. You won't need to wait too long, though: an OST will surely be out in the next couple of weeks and you can hear it then.
### EDITED ###

Hybrid Soldier2015-06-09 13:30:17
The soundtrack release is not ready. Far from it. But it'll come...

QScore2015-06-10 22:04:54
Why isn't it possible to offer the complete score as a digital download via itunes, amazon, qobuz etc. ?

That would mean less work in post production and the score would be out earlier. I'm sure we score fans would like that and buy it anyways.

Have Zimmer & Co and other composers already considered this possibility or is this not an option for them at all? Why not try this with one or two movie scores to see how the fan reaction would be...

In some cases there are also two (or more) versions of a score, a standard version and a deluxe version. Why not make the deluxe edition the complete score?

Harry Gregson-Williams is going to score Matt Damon's The Martian. Didn't know where else to post this since it hasn't been announced on this website anywhere yet.

Sorry for the previous post. Last I checked there was not a listing for this yet, so I asked in the most recent posting.

I hope we here something on this soon.© 2001-2018 OST
