According to Film Music Reporter, Ramin is gonna score another Legendary Pictures, Inc. blockbuster The Great Wall, which is directed by Chinese director Zhang Yimou (Hero, House of the Flying Dagger). Can you confirm this Hybrid?
I don't get this either. The Warcraft universe always stood for amazing music. The "main theme suites" of every WOW expansions are masterpieces. They are sung by a real choir with a real symphonic orchestra. Also the thematic use is brilliant.
I like some of Ramin his scores but he will never top the existing catalogue of Warcraft material.

It's well known that Duncan Jones is the worst director ever, and completely stupid. He probably had no idea what he was doing !
Among the producers are Pacific Rim producers, just THINK twice...

I still think they should've the game-scorers do the main theme, and let a film pro (like RD) take it from there.

If Ramin won't use the new Draenor themes and the stormwind theme I'm out. :D (The use of the latter one is inevitable since I couldn't imagine they wouldn't show a longshot of stormwind) However, I think it was a good decision to let a experienced blockbuster composer do the score. The cinematics are perfectly scored but scoring a 2 hour movie is a lot more difficult. I'm still hoping Hans will have a hand in it. :)
This is simply a brilliant score. Dark, epic and with distinctive themes. Furthermore, it has a truly unique style with it's use of ethnic instruments, like the dominant cimbalom (and I was pleased to hear Slovakian fuyara - also know as the shepherd's pipe - in the track "Broken Tooth"), and it captures the Transylvanian vibe perfectly. Ramin did it again. I love it.

So I guess that movie coming up on March 11 2016, directed by Duncan Jones and produced by Legendary, currently in post-production, is just something they made up for shits and giggles :)

I really wish they had let Russell Brower and his team score the Warcraft movie. They've come up with some fantastic stuff for the games. But I guess that was never going to happen... :b
