Cool thanks for getting back! I am still a little bit confused though. Do any Basil Poledouris cues go somewhere in that list? Itís been a very very long time since I have seen the film. The Hans cues used are :

1M1 OPENING CREDITS / MAIN TITLE (USED FROM 2:18 TO 3:03)
1M2 GOLDEN STAIRCASE (USED FROM 0:00 TO 1:56)
2M2 JACK SEES WOLVES
2M3 BLACK WOLF
2M6 THE TREK CONTINUES (USED FROM 0:28 TO 1:15)
3M1 THIN ICE
3M2 SKUNKER'S DEATH
3M3 FULL MOON WOLF ATTACK
3M3A MORNING WOLF ATTACK
6M4 THE BEAR
6M4A THE BEAR ATTACK
7M3 IN THE STABLE
7M5 WHITE FANG FIGHTS SATAN
8M1 FIGHT MONTAGE (FIRST HALF USED)
8M3 PIT FIGHT (FINAL 20 SEC USED)

All the rest, by definition, is Basil's score...Hey hybrid soldier! You mentioned on the ghost in the shell page about white fang so I came here! Can you give us a list of the cues as they appear in the film please? The Basil Poledouris cues and the Hans Zimmer cues pleaseI imagined it ... hopefully this time Max Ritcher does not give him a lollipop and refuses to launch his musicYes Unbreakable.

Exactly like White Fang. Have Poledouris write a score, then HZ do another, then pick what you want from both.

Ghost In The Shell was kinda different...
In the credits of the movie, Max Ritcher appears as the Main Composer, meanwhile, Lorne appears as Additional MusicI find that it would be best to accredit both and launch the two soundtracks and all happy.Hybrid implies that Max Ritcher's score was rejected, and that Lorne made a new one and in the end, the best of both has been used. I am right?ANd now apparently another guy is scoring it as well lmaoTechnically he's a little under 50% used so there's no obligation. But he wrote a whole score for it.
but if Lorne has written 50% of the score you should have a credit like in Ghost in the shellLorne is got additional music credit, not for co-composer, and still appear the image of the label for the soundtrack. But Lorne is still not credited as an official composer. It is possible that Lorne shares credit with Max.In other news Lorne just finished compiling the OST for Gemini Man...When Richter was the composer there was an album planned at Deutsche Grammophon...

When Lorne jumped in to write a new score for the movie, apparently that release was cancelled... Now that film has like 50/50 MR LB, and nothing's planned at all.

So we'll see, but apart from posting some cues of his score online, like Lorne did before, I doubt there'll be an official release... And if Richter's release gets back on track, it would definitely have his score only.
Hybrid, by "not happening" you mean Richter's part of the score or Balfe's? Or the whole thing is as messed up as Ghost in the Shell, regarding the score?@Hybrid why? Will theyíre ever be a release score on YouTube and other websites this is a piece of art beautiful score 18 years later itís still have been published please answer my question if have this score Gmail it to me itís elijahboy564@gmail.comProbably not happening...Huh. Weird how Harper and HGW worked on continuous chunks of the movie, like Hans assigned them reel by reel or something...

Never heard any of the scores by Mancia but this one is awesome.

Please, suggest me some more of his good stuff.

The starting of the track "Leg 7" sounded familiar to me. Anyone felt the same?

Edmund Meinerts2013-10-07 16:36:30
The beginning of "Leg 7" is oddly identical to the track "Knife to a Gun Fight" from Michael Giacchino's Mission Impossible 4 score. I wonder if it might just be a coincidence, but it's definitely there. Weird, huh.

As for Mancina recommendations, he did a ton of really fun, thematic scores in the 90s...Speed, Bad Boys, Twister, Speed 2 etc. Those are pretty much all great. Tarzan is a strong score too, if you can find the score-only promo (apparently it was more important for the original album to have four versions of "Two Worlds, One Family" than to properly represent the score). And he did a score to a Japanese anime called Blood+ (yes, really) which is really good as well. Mancina's one of my favorites from MV because he never forgets to put in memorable themes and a sense of fun!

isildur2013-10-08 13:34:15
Wow! I didn't know Bad Boys was Mancia's. I always liked that score. Thanks, Meinerts.

MrZimmerFan2013-10-08 13:36:09
Speed and Speed 2, my favorites of Mancina

Luffy2014-03-25 03:05:26
How can you forget Blood+, Divas theme, I mean its one of his best tracks and score

Planes is such a nice track! :)

"Ein Crop Duster Can Race" was co-produced by Mark Mancina, so I guess that song should technically be marked as "Score", which should add up to a total of about 41 minutes and 38 seconds of "Score".

I'm usually not one to rant about this stuff, but can someone please explain to me how the hell does this have such a low rating in this site since pretty much before it was even released??
Not only that, but how can this have a lower rating than that absurdly missed opportunity that was the Man Of Steel score? I guess that alone speaks for the state of film music today...
I'm not saying that everyone was to love this score and give it 5 stars or anything like that, but jesus, doesn't make any sense to me...

Edmund Meinerts2013-08-09 08:49:39
I just rated this 5 stars and whaddya know, it bumped the average up to 3. :p

The ratings on this site are weird though, I'd say just ignore them.

Mike2013-08-09 17:24:43
Indeed, Edmund, the ratings on this site are weird.

Mancina is back. The Score is amazing!!!!

Mike reply Replies: 1 || 2013-08-07 22:31:06
If the trailer alone was any indication, then this is a five star score.

Edmund Meinerts2013-08-07 22:51:57
The trailer cue (which is the first track, "Planes") is by far the best thing in the score but there are a lot of fun action cues that sound like Speed/Twister crossed with Henry Jackman action cues from Puss in Boots/Wreck-it Ralph. And the love theme in "Dusty and Ishani" has to be heard to be believed...it's like a Bollywood version of Days of Thunder. XD

Mark Mancina - Planes EPIC!

Edmund Meinerts reply Replies: 2 || 2013-08-07 17:37:38
AMAZING score. Anyone who loves classic 90s Media Ventures music will absolutely adore this. It's like 90s Mancina with a bit of John Powell/Henry Jackman's orchestral style for animations thrown in. For me, probably the best score of the year so far, and certainly the best main theme.

Evenstar2013-08-07 17:58:07
Indeed. Was a bit confused about the indian themes, but looks like there is a plane from there so it makes sense. Nice work Mark Mancina!

Prott2013-08-07 18:38:34
Agreed, it's a fantastic score! It really brings back that "Twister" feeling... definitely my favourite score from animations (together with HtTYD and LK). :)

Nice to see Mancina and his team back. I am pleasantly surprised to see the score is getting released too!
