I don't think originally Hans planned it that way.

Wonder Woman 1984 was supposed to come out November 2019. That didn't happen. No Time to Die wasn't on the radar originally and was originally supposed to come November 2019 as well. He was probably on track to finish Top Gun: Maverick early this year if it wasn't for No Time to Die.

If you take out WW84 and No Time to Die, he would only have 4 major projects this year (Spongebob, Dune, Hillbilly, and Top Gun).Hybrid why is Hans taking on so many projects this year? Any insights into that? Why remove them?Because there was no time for him to do WW 1.

He was on tour for months... Had 2 tours in early 2016/17 + Dunkirk to handle. Wouldn't have worked at all.Really loved that song 'n lirycs. Always became my lulaby on the night.
He did...once... ;)So why exactly did Hans fight for Rupert with Wonder Woman and why is he scoring '84? Not criticizing, I just remember him thinking that it was better for more women to be involved as composers or performers on Wonder Woman projects.

I don't even necessarily agree with the concept that a woman needs to score a movie about women, I'm just curious why he wanted Rupert in and why he himself took over for the sequel if he felt that way?I would have gone with...
Music was good, didn't fit the DCEU, film was the worst thing ever.

Hans is fine, prefer his older stuff.Hybrid, do you have the Inception credits?Hybrid? Any chance you could upload some unreleased tracks from this to your channel? Or just that suite, that you did but was removed :/
Welp, necro thread i guess.Back then people still used CDs from time to time and a CD can only fit a little more than an hour worth of MP3s on it.Music was good, film was better. Nay, good. nothing, better than Hans

Hans, for you. <3

Sincerely,
RicardoSometimes, I wish the world was, one with iself. This, music and harmony set into one man's vision. Hans, you inspire us. You, alone.

Sincerely,
RicardoIt's not officially available but a clear version can be found on the bleeding fingers website under Andrew Christie.
Can someone ask Powell or Zimmer to put up some demos or suites from this score for study. It's such a great score and a real demonstration that a team effort can produce real quality.@Hybrid Soldier
Did HZ just do the first season of wormhole and then his stuff gets reused/rearranged by Jacob Shea or did he consistently write throughout several seasons? Thanks for the great insight as always Hybrid!Any idea when can we expect a track list of Tom's score ?It depens on person, you don't like it but this ost got millions of likes. You are only free to express your opinion.

So Hybrid, now that you've released the complete score for Puss in Boots, you gonna create the page for it?

!2012-07-08 10:47:05
He didn't release it, for the thousandth time

Hybrid Soldier2012-07-08 10:57:27
I'm gonna create the page, since it's out, when I'm a little less lazy !

Edmund Meinerts2015-06-30 13:01:58
...Three years later and Hybrid still hasn't created it. ;p

Hybrid Soldier2015-06-30 17:13:40
Maybe I will... one day...

Probably the best score of 2011. Henry Jackman is really underrated!

It's a good score indeed, but I don't think I'd put it even in the top 10 of 2011. That was a really good year for film scores (other than for Hans Zimmer, of course).

Zimson2014-07-18 21:08:04
It was indeed, not as strong as 2010, but definitely not bad. 2013 was a horrible year, though. For Hans, 2011 was a year of good scores with rather weak soundtrack releases, PotC 4 as an exception which I thought was uninspired. Hans said himself he didn't like that project.

Dudu2014-07-19 00:14:54
Hybrid (and maybe the others), do you know if Henry Jackman is still at remote?I saw that in the booklet of captain america he didn't do anything at RCP and didn't even thank Hans Zimmmer. After further research I saw he opened his studio (Sacred tiger music)and mixed his cap 2 score there

RealFfingMusic2014-07-19 06:47:29
In 2011, I think most people would agree Jackman's best was X Men: First Class.

@Zimson did you sleep through the whole 2013?

Hybrid Soldier2014-07-19 08:56:12
If you click on "See Details..." here you'd just see "Score Mixed at Remote Control Productions, Santa Monica, CA" lol...

And this score was mainly done in the UK at Air... :)

And Zimmer is thanked... What drugs did you take ? lol

And yeah eventually they all open their own studios (mainly in their own houses or just 2 blocks away from RCP) ! :P

Hybrid Soldier2014-07-19 08:59:09
Jeez if I take the Puss in Boots page instead of Cap 2... O_O

Yeah indeed my mistake (I should sleep more ?), but the score was done the same in London...

But as I said, all these studios, Sacred Tiger, Arata Music (Jablonsky), Silvertone Music (Djawadi), 5 Cat Studio (Powell), formerly Wavecrest studio & others are just nearbye, Jablonsky is 5 minutes away from RCP and did come back to Hans' studio for TF4 so...

Glorious score by Henry Jackman, with the dinamism of John Powell for the animated movies and a sound similar to The Mask of the Zorro of James Horner. This is a wonderful score of Henry Jackman who make his better jobs in the animation, scores like this or Wreck It Ralph are simply excelents

Warfighter reply Replies: 4 || 2012-05-16 03:03:00
Didn't know were to put this so... Does anyone know why 2 upcoming animation films from Dreamworks Animation will not be scored by someone from/associated with RCP? Rise of the Guardians will be scores by Desplat and The Croods by Silvestri.

Maybe it's just a coincidence but this has not happened before i think.

Mr. Charles2012-05-16 04:38:52
This is no coincidence, it's an error, and it has not happened before. Hans Zimmer is in charge of the music for every Dreamworks Animation film. Wherever you saw that has it listed wrong

MisterFreeze2012-05-16 11:14:15
@ Mr. Charles : An error? I don't know for "The Croods" but Desplat is confirmed for Rise of The Guardians on IMDB ... see it yourself

Ds2012-05-16 13:22:09
Yeah, the announcement of Desplat & Silvestri were posted on filmmusicreporter.com some weeks ago. I found it very disappointing, because John Powell was initially supposed to be in charge for "Rise of the Guardians"....

Mr. Charles2012-05-16 13:45:21
Really? Hmm, very interesting and disappointing indeed. I wonder what fell through and why it won't be RCP...

Papapalpatine772011-10-17 00:16:54
Henry Jackman?! What happened to Harry?

Miles2011-10-17 05:46:03
I think Harry was too busy writing "Cowboys & Aliens" to do "Puss in Boots" as well. Doesn't really matter though--I'm starting to really like Henry's work, so I was really looking forward to this!

Papapalpatine772011-10-17 07:06:32
Seeing as how this is a Shrek spin-off, I was expecting Harry to do it. Oh well, maybe he's moved on from Dreamworks Animation

Feliz2011-10-19 01:02:12
Have you listened to the samples Rapapalatine? I'm quite happy Harry didn't do this one! Nothing he's written on his own (so that excludes the first Shrek score) has really held my interest at all since the first Narnia. This score, however, sounds amazing! I hope the full score is as impressive as the samples!

Papapalpatine772011-10-19 06:56:43
No, I never listen to the samples. I don't know why, I just never do. And it's PAPA. Clearly you've never seen the Robot Chicken sketch. h t t p://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3F1d3QWsyk0&feature=fvsr
