I just want to ask beforehand so I don't get in trouble....I don't see this new track on youtube, except the one that inaccessible in the USActually after I asked, I was told Djawadi did work on Lasiurus. Did he write it all ? Arrange it ? No idea, but he surely was on it.I remember that once Hybrid had made a credits list for the OST and the Lasiurus track (which is the Ra’s Al Ghul Suite) was written by JNH.
Is there a way to hear it? The youtube links does not work in the US. I was looking forward to a At Worlds End take on Assassins Creed pirate theme by RCP.<br><br>Kyd will probably use a lot of ambient again instead of epicness.Well, two of the Infinity Ward games have been (Harry Gregson Williams and Steve Barton for MW1 and Lorne Balfe and Hans Zimmer for MW2), so I wouldn't be surprised. But there's no way of knowing right now. And besides, MW3 was done by Brian Tyler, not someone from RCP. Either way, I bet a prolific composer will be hired. With the exception of World at War and Black Ops, Hollywood composers have been hired for every COD game since #4.Who thinks COD Ghosts will be composed by an RCP member?So was Jim Dooley a co-composer or just an additional music guy?

As a big fan of the books I have to say that Djawadi really didn't (or doesn't have the ability to) live up to the potential that this incredibly intricate storyline offers - dozens of subplots, intriguing characters, it's a really awesome story and the series did it full justice in every aspect EXCEPT for this underwhelming music.

To my ears Djawadi is one of the least impressive composers to come out from under Hans Zimmer's wing. Powell, Harry Gregson-Williams, Rabin, Jablonsky, Mancina, Jackman, Orvarsson, Balfe, Rupert Gregson-Williams, are all much better. I wish one of them could have had this incredible opportunity.

That said, the main theme isn't actually too bad. Kind of catchy. But I hate the synthy sound of the string section and in general it's really underplayed. Thank God the series is so strong it barely even needs a score ;)

Ramin Djawadi is not constant, but here, i think it's a very good album with ethnic and medieval sonority...

The samples sound pretty good; there's a real emotional core within the music. Nice job, RJ!

My only quibble is that something must have been up with the mixing or whatever: when it moves into the higher or lower registers, there's this static-y background harmonic, but for all I know it could be something different. It's noticable on tracks like "Goodbye Brother" and "Finale".
