What? Only two composers make up the group Magic Box Music: John Sponsler and Tom Gire.Can you please write who did what?So where is the damn CD?!More like Hans had the idea to leak it and then got five different Magic Box composers to upload each file individually.MTV Trailer Music original? original version pleaseeee
Oh, I know. But wouldn't it be a funny story if it was? XDSo basically HZ leaked them himself in an act of generosity towards his beloved fans? :p"Maybe some disgruntled RC employee quit and rage-uploaded all of them"<br><br>LOL I can assure you it's not what happened ! :)It's been an absolutely amazing year for leaked complete scores in general! I have a huge backlog of them that I haven't even gotten around to listening to yet. Maybe some disgruntled RC employee quit and rage-uploaded all of them. :p<br><br>But...hasn't the complete Pearl Harbor been around for ages?(-(-):(--(:) SOON
Goodness, so many HZ scores leaked this week. In fact, its been a good year or so for HZ fans (as far as leaked scores haha). I wonder what happened all of a sudden. Definitely hoping for more in the next couple of months. Maybe Pearl Harbor or Hannibal will come soon. At least, thats what I hope haha.Is the choir music part of the score? And I really liked the music in the last ten seconds of the video.Probably to get it to CD quality. They sound as clean as the album tracks to me.This is something I feel needs to be dragged up in light of the full score becoming available.<br><br>I'm inclined to believe this doesn't exist. No evidence has ever surfaced for it. The so-called "Original opening" was supposed to have been included on earlier bootlegs but I can find no mention of it beyond here and the one mention on filmtracks.<br><br>So, IF the FYC exists AT ALL, it was likely to be the sessions, just without the songs (because the sessions that leaked... those songs are clearly from the albums - I am curious to know where he got the reel info for them from). I'd love to be proven wrong, but I don't think I ever will. If it does exist, the sessions themselves supplant the FYC by a mile, and IF it does exist, then those who hold the sessions proper (not the ones that leaked with the songs) also have a cue that has not seen the light of day: the Mufasa's Dead piece that is highlighted above.<br><br>I'd still love to see who did what with regards to the film, and I still think there are some interesting alternates. In the Special Edition, I seem to recall Zimmer stating he wrote four hours worth of music, and although I don't think that was all translated into actual cues, I'd be surprised if a great deal of the ideas went unused, or did get used but are still unreleased (like the film versions of Scar's Dinner and Sunrise at Pride Rock). Hell, there may even be material for M8 and M16 given that the film's script went through several pre-release revisions.One has to wonder though why the FLAC version was downsampled. This means the quality is not as good as it could be, right?
Any verfication that the version of Circle of Life shown here actually exists at all? With the sessions, it's easy to replicate the rest of the material but I'd be inclined to believe that "Circle of Life" is just the instrumental version with the film version's interlude or something.The FLAC is 44kHz. So whoever did the conversion did it right this time.i havent heard that theme in ages...imma check it outO-cool, this is indeed VERY cool :)featurette with new music(choir!)<br><br>www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=rtcEtDDqvu8

I think Hans Zimmer is the best composer in the world , his work is pure clasic and beautiful.For me his greatest OST's are from: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 , Gladiator , Angels and Demons , Pirates Of The Caribbean. Love you Hans Zimmer , keep up the good work , Greetings from Romania

After All!... he is a great composer, not only becose the enormous number of works, but for the quality. Maybe its becose the fact of having some times similar parts between musics that made his original style very its own.
My favourite H.Zimmer's OST's: Gladiator, Davinci Code, Pearl Harbour, Angels and Demons.
I can see his music in many great classical composers works.

Rui Lima reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-25 12:06:56
to me, hans zimmer is not one of the best composers of today, but it is indeed one of the most prolific, and has a extremely high number of works, wich only few I consider totally classical, and are theese wich I apreciate more.
I like the music but are all, ... very similar, and has score notes that are very muiscal but always the same.
Gladiator has parts almost identical to Gustave Holst's suite "the Planets" in the 1st mov. Mars, the bringer of war, and then appears again in "pirates of the caribbean", i think.
The music could be more orchestrated, and have a orchestra.

I now have more HZ albums than any other. Been replaying Inception every day (quietly) in the office and then usually a blast at home at the weekend. Haven't even seen the film.
When's the next Dan Browne soundtrack coming (assuming Sony are making another one)?

Having just seen the playlist for the greatest hits am now going to go and try and buy it.

Brilliant work.

Thanks

CD 1 would be amazing if it was the right orchestra with Hans watching over it, but all that I've heard of these guys was pretty bad. So yeah.

You might wonder why they keep on pushing these kind of things out.

Some might sound ok. Like for instance M:I 2 doesn't sound bad, actually, or strangely enough. But stuff like King Arthur, The Rock, Crimson Tide, etc. simply sounds, well, embarrassing !, actually.

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-02 00:00:00
The last one of these was just plain awful. Pirates / Gladiator mixes they did just sounded weak and extremely lame. I don't even want to hear how much they'll massacre Inception. Please. No more?? Please?????
