@Hybrid, do you think the SnyderCut will release soon?<br>I won't go further cause it's not exactly the place, but I won't say you're wrong either... :PHybrid, any insight into why Tyler was fired from Age of Ultron? Iíve always wondered but have never seen an actual reason. Iíve heard he violated his contract to work on Furious 7 or something?<br><br>Just was curious because he still takes full credit for that score, and the more I see of him the more annoyed I get with his arrogant attitude. The dude thinks heís the greatest thing to ever happen to film scores.Me too. The deluxe edition was quite underwhelming. Would love to get the entire Sicily sequence.Really gutted that the FYC is out but it's missing the one moment from the score I really wanted, the statement of the Alpha theme from HTTYD2. Wonder why Powell and his crew seem to be going out of their way to prevent that from being heard...something about pre-existing material, maybe? But why just that theme and not the dozens of others? Weird.
If you ask me, that "personal tragedy" for Snyder, though real, was just an excuse for them to fire him. It was convenient for Warner. They saw his film and they probably got scared it was impossible to sell, too long, too much BvS, too much this, too much that... This irony is now they made a billion with the darkest DC movie ever... Nice call WB... The minute Whedon & Elfman were "in", you understood this film was not Zack Snyder's anymore. This film is so terrible, I rewatched it lately, you can feel pretty much 80% of it is Whedon reshoots (just look for actors that look nothing like themselves when they shot the initial film, "New Haircut" Amy Adams, "Bottox" Batfleck, "Mustache" Cavill... And you can see from miles away how they all act like they don't care, that they hated every minute of reshooting it. I'm really sad Geoff Zanelli had to participate into this travesty, but I hope he got a huge paycheck for the pain ! lol Especially since Geoff was at the very beginning of the DCEU since he started working on ideas with Hans on Man Of Steel, before he left early to handle The Lone Ranger...<br><br>#ReleaseTheSnyderCut<br><br>Oh and btw Brian Tyler was fired from Avengers 2. And not because of the music he was writing. Whedon brought Elfman at the last minute, first he was "additional music", then "co-composer", if he had, say, one more month, he would have replaced the entirety of Tyler's score... He just didn't get enough time to do that...I definitely agree with your last sentence. I really like seeing the RCP composers going back to orchestral splendor and melody. Shame Jablonsky's been MIA because of his family. I would have loved to see him come back with the orchestral, melodic voice that Balfe and Tom have had lately.cool!Whedon has his particular tastes which are guaranteed to be more sensible than 'Anonymous' below. This was a case where Snyder was facing an uphill struggle and a personal tragedy. He left the project. Josh came on board and he does not think highly of the RCP school, as anyone with a sensible ear will do. So he hired Elfman who did Age of Ultron for him after Tyler copy-pasted himself too much. It's ironic that fanboys here lambast Elfman for not being Zimmer enough in scope while Tyler does whatever he does, sounding EXACTLY the same on all projects. <br><br>But it's also heartening to see that all of the good RCP composers like Jackman, Junk, Balfe are now going for scores that sound a lot like 1990s or 2000s - Silvestri (Jumanji), Jones (Alita), or Shore (Dark Materials), respectively.Did Holkenborg finish his score and have time to record it? Is there an actual score? It seems to me he got jettisoned early in the process when Whedon came on board. It would be surprising if he had time to record an actual score with players and an orchestra.
I can't decide whether or not some of the things I want to hear from him should be in his new show or a new World of Hans Zimmer show.@Ds Omar is saying that this was the direction Tom went with / what the score sounded like not that he was fired because he didnít deliver the sound heís known for :) <br>Of course he was replaced after Snyder left the project. <br><br>And yeah citation is needed.Desperately hoping we'll hear something from Dune. He's said himself how excited he is to finally work on music for a Dune movie and turned down Nolan for it, and it will be out a few months before these shows begin.The FYC came out for this. Unfortunately, it's missing two entire tracks from the film. An extended "Busy, Busy Berk", and the film version of "Furies Captured" (which at least had a YouTube upload of the alternate version). <br><br>Guess we'll have to hope for a complete/recording sessions leak for everything else.Will he come to Sthlm / Gothenburg sweden???

Zack wanted to go with a different approach for the score and make it more "fun" than serious. He didn't want a Zimmer sound for the movie.

I'm really digging the Zimmer (and Balfe?) tracks, it really sounds like a twisted version of INCEPTION. Hopefully more of the Zimmer/Balfe music will be on the Lalaland version...

Yeah, me too... from what I saw there`s really more than 5 minutes of Zimmer`s (RCP-made) music in the game. :-)
