meh. That's your opinion. I agree with the fact of that the score is not interesting, but not to the point of wanting Howard or deplat as composers. This is inviable. Their niche is another.is there any making of out there? (making the score)I agree. The score feels so flat, and we hear stuff like this many times over already.I'm going to try and add a little criticism to this one. I personally don't really see what's so great about this. The first track, and I was already thinking "Oh, it's the Bumblebee theme again. Not the AllSpark variation, but the slow, calm part." The underscore doesn't change at all, and I feel like stuff like this has been done better by people like James Newton Howard and Alexandre Desplat.

However, good for you guys for finding something interesting in it. Maybe I'm just spoiled on Desplat and Newton Howard.I really hope so because the movie itself looks really dull, but at least it's a great score. But I would have prefered James Newton Howard to do it as was set before Jackman.
Amazing soundtrackThis is great. Probably even better than season 1.Better than season 1.unique music and great.Really good score from them both .hope they work together againThey fired Geoff Johns and Jon Berg.
I read one or two reviews of the movie and they said that Jackman's score is actually really good. Especially the drums in the score.
I'm exitied!!promo tracklist (there's no entry for this here yet):
01. Opening / Fantasy
02. No Fight / Selection
03. Father And Son
04. Ferdinand ReturnsI wouldn't be remotely surprised if Hans did some ghostwriting on this, or if he at least gave some ideas to Rupert and Lorne. When the intro in episode 1 started I heard some sort of extra dark percussion near the end. Maybe a worked on his Main Title again.
Maybe not.Hybrid, why isn't Hans credited here? He said in an interview after the tour that he was working on the Crown season 2...
Edmund - relax. You should just start a John Powell forum and only read and write in that.some of us are simply loving others music and enjoying their work.Hahaha, that's funny. I didn't hear her until now. I think it's cool. Cause it's at a very fitting place in the song. Hahaha.Oh Thanks a lot!
How did you know this?
Is there any version without?
Although i think it's funny!I'm not being negative. I'm correcting a false statement. OP made it sound like these were some fresh new talents on the scene when they've been around for ages. I could say that Hans Zimmer is the best RCP composer in a long time as well, but that would be a patently ridiculous statement for exactly the same reasons.

Just because I'm one of maybe three people around here who doesn't constantly gush like some fanboy on YouTube (especially about Lorne Balfe this year for some reason), now I'm suddenly dumb and negative?RGW was the first RCP composer with who Balfe worked.

Just curious: is this score recorded with a full live orchestra or are the string parts synthesized?

(I feel that the string parts are synthesized sounds)

i agree with your theory here.... it sounds like there are some virtual orchestra strings here.

I got it, sounds pretty good wish they'd offically release it, the promo sound quality is pretty good, though... got a cool main theme I must say!
