Sounds more like a mix between both Rango and Sherlock Holmes, to be honest....The person who gave it to you probably left it off, on purpose.The first thing I noticed is how much better the orchestra sounded in this video than it did in the final mix of the soundtrack. What a shame.i have this, it's incredible awesome. But qhere can i find Starwather unused, Health club álbum versión and morning star unused?Hybrid, your reaction, please. :P
8 additional composers! Busy score!I do. He had quite a hand in POTC and Rango. I doubt this will be different.Who wants to bet Zanelli composed some subthemes and arranged most of the cues? :PI got the deluxe version via iTunes and didn't really notice it. The only time I experienced that was in "This is Clark Kent". The main part was a little too quiet, then the end was mega-loud.I bought the two-disc, limited edition version of the soundtrack and it seems the volume leveling is quite low. I have to turn up the volume quite high to hear the full score. Has anyone experienced this or could this be a coding issue on my copy? I have not yet listened to it with headphones, only in my car at this time. Thanks.
The Rango suite is intensely enjoyable, in my opinion.Indeed, there is a "previous Verbinski" vibe to it. I'm looking forward to this score. I just wish we knew more about it!Epic track!!!!!! Hans Zimmer!! God!!Hi ! I have a litte question.
Is the 2 discs edition is the same in Europe and USA or the package is a little bit different ? Thanks for answering ;-)Okay this has definitely a PotC vibe, with a little bit of Rango at the end.
OOPS! It's this one... :)
comicbookmovie.com/ fansites/nailbiter111/news/?a=81808Here is a short clip of the movie (fast forward toward the end). Included is a short snippet of Zimmer's score.

comicbookmovie.com/ fansites/BatFreak/news/?a=81817I would love this. I would like to set up a performance for choir and synths (hopefully adding handbells, harp and percussion.)Hi,

I was wondering if your team was in need of a Modular Moog technician in the LA area. I have serious credentials, available on request. I do have a much wider range of electronic music equipment expertise as well.

You can contact me at info@showmetheanalog.com

Thanks,
GeneYeah everybody is still talking about Man Of Steel. It's old new already. On to the Lone Ranger :)

But how can you not like Pirates 3, when Pirates 2 preceded it, while Pirates 1 built the foundations for the Pirates trilogy? How can you dislike one pirate but not the other pirates? wiothout Pirates 1 there would be no pirates 2 or pirates 3, and the music for the pirates films would be not as grand - pirates 3 was the most grandiose of all 3 movies.

therefore, in the body of three pirates films, sure you may pick your lesser favorite, but you cannot discount the majesty of all three put together.

I like em all...what can i say? I'm a friggin pirate.

So apparently Disney's planning a 5th pirates movie as well? (And maybe a 6th?)

Oh no! Please, not another one :( I love Zimmer's work on the series, but honestly...the first one was/is/remains the best part! Pirates 3 was pretty boring, in my opinion! I slept during the middle and woke up before the finale...i was like "all right...feels like I didn't miss so much" -.-

@Feliz Lombriz

Yes, i am sure ;) .

@Tim

Yes, i know what you mean ;) . I wish Pirates 3 never happened. I wish Pirates Pirates 4 was the the third one, so that the would have the boring Pirates 3 for what it actually is. If Pirates 3, was not Pirates 3, and Pirates 4 was really Pirates 3, and what Pirates 3 turned out to be didin't happen, then i would be happy.

@Tim

Sorry, about that, i didn't put my name there before, in my previous few comments. My name is Sean, i forgot to add it, where we're supposed to put our names :(.

As long as the score is great (which is absolutely the case with Pirates 3) I`m happy that the film exists. :-D

That's interesting. I can't wait to hear the soundtrack and to find out what the titles of the songs are, but we'll not know what the titles of there songs are until next month in April.

okgal reply Replies: 0 || 2011-03-06 00:00:00
Eric Whitacre posted on FB that he's involved too. Can't wait!

hans zimmer + Two steps from hell + match box music + rodrigo y gabriella = a score so epic, it will explode the ear drums of even the very Chuck Norris

*falls to his knees*
I am not worthy to hear this amount of epicness combined...

Sean reply Replies: 0 || 2011-02-28 00:00:00
When you said the track list of the songs for the soundtrack will be here in 2 months, you ment April 2011, right ?

Feliz Lombriz reply Replies: 0 || 2011-02-28 00:00:00
If Thomas Bergersen and Nick Phoenix really get to write music for this, my head might explode a little bit. I'm officially excited to hear this.

Michael reply Replies: 0 || 2011-02-28 00:00:00
This is SO amazing! Hans Zimmer on his own would have been perfect...but by adding Rodrigo y Gabriela, Two Steps from Hell and Brand X Music.............beyond perfection!!

I really hope this will be a HUGE soundtrack with at least 20 tracks or so. Using the coolest themes from pirates 1, Jack Sparrow from 2 and maybe bits and pieces from What shall we die for from 3... and totally new epic exciting to-cry-your-eyes-out-so-amazing themes...

Go Hans!
