Well, who knows ? , maybe it will be out some time in the next few days, or a week or so from now, or maybe even at the end of this month. So technically, it could be out at any time during this month.
@Pokenose Hans Zimmer might not of changed it too much, so that then that way the music we know from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies still sounds familiar from what we've heard from the previous three movies, meaning like the main themes used in the previous movies that will be used in this movie, although at the same time, they might of been changed just a little bit so that they don't sound like what we've already heard before in the previous movies.
@Pokenose: Sounds like there will be new themes, of course, but it's not going to be a complete 180 either: "...Hans Zimmer has done all the new melodies, etc. There won't be any surprises musically; it's the good old HZ sound that we all love." -Thomas Bergersen
You might expect many things from POTC 1 (and their POTC 2 variations) to return... You might also expect what was a subtheme in POTC 3 to become much more important there... And of course some brand new themes for the new characters... ;)
Hans can create lots of new themes! We need one for England, one for Spain, one for The Fountain of Youth, one for the mermaids, one for Blackbeard, one for Angelica.
I secretly hope for the return of The Black Pearl theme from potc1. Might be cool for London and the Island where Jack and Barbossa fight the Spaniards. And a cool fight theme for Jack vs Blackbeard vs Barbossa.
And! For the end credits a He's a Pirate in the length of the COTBP MOVIE VERSION (not album), in the speed and style of the DMC He's a pirate, with a main theme blast at the end like it did in AWE (also in DMC, but the one from AWE was better =) ).
The use of Rodrigo y Gabriella of course suggests more Spanish guitar styles. Roger Whittaker has done a lot with choirs (think Fountain of Youth theme of Mermaids), and two steps from hell.
Can't wait. Hopefully a soundtrack with 15 or 18 tracks.
Well, to spoil it a bit, it's the amazing theme finishing the "Lord Cutler Beckett" theme suite (starting at 6:11 'til the end), which is totally underused in POTC 3 (2, maybe 3 times here and there in the score...).
I can tell you it's become more significant in 4... Can't wait to hear that !! :)
@john Yeah, no kidding ;) . I know that, i've just been saying what i've been saying here before, because i am wondering exactly when in April it will be released on here.
Do you think that there's a chance since lorne isn't on here its because hans asked if he could work on producing an expanded release of inception while he's busy with pirates? just a though... doubtful, but you never know...
No, someone on here said it would be on here sometime in April 2011, so that's why i've been saying what i've been saying on here about that, wondering when exactly in April it will released on here. You don't have to tell me that it'll appear when it appears, i already know that thank you very much ;) . I've just been wondering when exactly this month that, that will actually happen, lol :D .
Whoops, sorry i spelled the word "happen" incorrectly at the end of my previous post here, just so you know what the word was there that i was trying type, when i typed so fast before, sorry about that.
I hope that the soundtrack tracklist will be released on here in April 2011. It was mentoned to me on here in the recent past, that the soundtracks tracklist would released on here in April 2011, so i hope that turns out to actually be true. I'd love to know what the names of the songs are, on the soundtrack :) , because the names of the songs would basically tell us what to expect to see in Pirates 4, or at least "kind of" of tell us what will haooen in the movie, like with the first three Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
