Another question Hybrid... Have those 5 suites on the 3rd CD ever seen the light of day? I am just wondering. I am intrigued to listen to the New Batman Theme and the 103BPM Action Ice Theme as well. Thanks.

Okay, so that means that in "A Dark Knight" there's three minutes we haven't heard...Do these three minutes appear elsewhere on the OST, or in the film? Basically, what are they?

There's about 1 min of bland ambient, and 2 minutes which are just the origin of "Finding The Batman". First part was kinda useless, and the other already on the score tracks, so I can understand why HZ removed these parts.

This question might have been raised already, but the Harvey Dent Suite is about 4 minutes longer than the album version...are any of those four minutes in the movie?

The comments might have been removed for the simple reason that the scores are a collaboration between composers, and that they, or someone, wouldn't necessarily like that such specific info about who did what gets listed... ?!

Joker suite should be 9:27 (full fade out ending, as opposed to the album cut that runs into I'm Not A hero) Harvey dent suite should remain 6:16, same as album, and new batman theme should be 'dark knight suite', 16:15. 103BPM action ice theme is the new batman theme and should remain at 5:02 exactly like the album.

Maybe this is why On Stranger Tides & A Game of Shadows sucked. If he's really putting everything he's got into TDKR, I will put Pirates & Sherlock in the past. I'm hoping he pulls out all the stops this time

Well, in all fairness, On Stranger Tides and A Game of Shadows didn't suck, they just weren't as good as their predecessors. They both had their highs and lows. But anyway, yeah, if he's been working for a year on this already, it better be good. I hope we'll get a long album like TDK

I'm no Dark Knight fan, but when I compare your track list, Samir Aziz, to the track list that this page is dedicated to, I see no difference.
The only difference I could guess there might be is that, like you said, some of the suites are missing from the list you posted. Tell me: what makes your version different/better?

Because i look for this complete score (3cd) and didn't find it but i found the 2cd but and it is real but iam afraid i don't think the 3cd is really exist.

Thats because cd 3 is already out. Its just the suites from the soundtrack.
I guess this is as much a fan edit as Broken Arrow, huh? After all, all Hybrid did was add some OST tracks to the bootleg! :P

Well The Joker Suite, Harvey Dent Suite & Dark Knight Suite are all on the OST, but it's nice that they included it on the complete score as well. The Dark Knight Suite is fantastic. It's nicely edited and fades into all the themes quite nicely

... I don`t think that HZ`s theme suites fail in presenting the best (or probably the most consistent) things from the movie (but even 60 minutes of great suites can`t compensate for the complete 2-3 hours long score - especially in theme progression, overall mood, etc. ). :-)

I personally hate Hans Zimmer cd's with suites like At world's end, why they just cant make up 80 mins from the recording sessions because who cares about a listening experience, I mean do people actually sit there and listen to a whole cd. Hah when I get a score I just look for my favorite bits.
may i know, why the composers don't release all the music that was in the music? but always just a short part of it? and than making it like it's something political and secret?
why can't we enjoy the music from the beginning, completed, like we heard it in the movie? i hate all those games, there are those recording sessions. someone has it, feels like he is the greatest (hybrid) and others don't have it.
why do act like that? music is not politics. music is beautiful that everyone should have the chance to enjoy it. i'm not speaking to download it, but make it available for purchasing it. even as an mp3 version.
Agent Smith: Because of recording fees (you have to pay more if you exceed certain length of the score). .-) Company which releases the OST simply calculate which score can earn enough to justify the expanded (longer) release.
Composers themselves usually make suites to present movie`s longer score in it`s shorter form as good as possible (or to present their original theme suites - without need to hit different cuts/events/etc.) :)

When I first discovered this board, I was careless and negligent to read that, and I would just post whatever I wanted. But now I know what I can and can't post, and Damien I did not/have not posted any link(s) since I was told not to ever since I came to the HZ board close to a year ago. I assume someone posted a link, because you said "as someone begins to post link I will have no other choice but to close this topic", or something along those lines. I swear on my life I did not post any links. Like I said, I own up to any wrong-doing I have done in the past, which I do. But that was not me. I ALWAYS leave my name, I'm not someone who hides behind not posting my name. I do not want to cause/start any trouble, nor be blamed for something that I did not do. I would hate for this topic to be cloased like Clash of the Titans was. That was a disappointment. I love having a place to come and talk about this wonderful music with others, so I would not do anything to cause this topic to be closed. I just want to be on the same page as you, that's all.

Hybrid, Im watching this now and some of these cues seem out of order. Shouldnt they be as follows? Dent and Gordon talk about Lau being "halfway to Hong Kong" much earlier than Fox's trip there.

Damien, which post was that? Was it *possibly* the one where I said how when I went to Google "The Dark Knight Rises" and the first thing that came up was "the dark knight complete score no sfx" I have no idea why that post needed to be removed, I was just commenting about how this has completely blown up. And what post from today? I didn't post anything today, I have been at work all day. Unless there is some other Darkota out there, then it was not me. I feel like you're attacking me, I did nothing wrong. I already got a hold of it days ago, anyway - I'm not looking for anything. I am not asking for anything, looking to download anything, or even asking for Hybrid Soldier to add all these scores that will "give people heart attacks". It is I who begins to bed fed up with YOU.
