How many film scores has Herr Zimmer composed? I'm attempting to compose a presentation for my German class about him.

Go here and count how many different movies there are (only those with "composer" in the brackets), and that should be the number: www.hans-zimmer.com/index.php?rub=discography&bt=2&numid=1

Hi guys! Does Hans Zimmer going to do a concert somewhere in the nearby future?
Thank you for all you do! Hans Zimmer and John Powell are my two favorite composers. You have inspired and influenced some of my recent work, and I listen to you pretty much every day. So again I say thanks!
Hello, I am a composer myself. And I was just wondering how long it took to compose "Harvey Two-Faced. From the first note to the point just before the recording.

hello, I am not Hans Zimmer, but I think know the answer to your question: unfortunately people at RCP have the policy not to open music cds that they get from random people because of a fear of copyright issues. Even if you send them your cd they will have to return it to you unopened. And all that because a long time ago some amateur composer sent his work to some movie composer and the movie composer used his music as his own and later got sued for it by that amateur composer who proved that he stole his music. And because of that they have to return cds unopened.
Does anybody know anything about the scoring / soundtrack from the science documentary series called Through the Wormhole - the credits state Zimmer, Shea and Kofsky to be involved with the music. I'm desperatly looking for some of the music from the series - they remind me alot of Chevalier De Sangreal. They are used in season 2, episode 1 at 40:00 and season 3, episode 4 at 34:50(you can youtube them)
Does anyone know if Zimmer will be scoring next summer's "The Lone Ranger". Gore Verbinski is directing it, who used Zimmer for all 3 Pirates and Rango. Seems like he would fit the role

No, the score is written by Jack White (of the White Stripes)

Whaaaat?!?!?!
Bummer. But I cannot judge. I know who The White Stripes are. They're ok. Hopefully the score will be good

Go, man! Make it happen! That perseverance will be needed as we can all hope for the freedom to make things happen. Sometimes there is no one to encourage you but don't stop! Peace.
As someone who is not quite sure about the legalities of this particular situation, I understand that this might be a stupid question. Anyway, I would like to use part of the soundtrack to Inception in a YouTube video, but I understand I need some sort of permission. Is it enough to credit Hans Zimmer as the creator of the song and provide an Itunes link, or will I need to do something a little more formal? My name is in my YouTube account, should you need to message me and the video in question has not been made yet.
I purchased your "The Dark Knight Rises" score a day ago and was very angry to find out that there are all kinds of online exclusives. My CD was made in Canada and contains no download code or anything of the sort and is only 51 minutes. I understand your wanting to experiment with apps and stuff (I don't own a cell phone), but the fact that you were able to have other tracks that could easily and should easily have fit onto the CD, as they do on itunes and other sites, signals that you are exploiting your fans.
I always pay artists for their work; I buy DVDs and I buy the great music of Mark Snow and Bear McCreary. This was the first CD of yours I bought and it may be the last. I feel betrayed as a customer who never wanted to steal from an artist I respected, but you tempt me with these devious tactics.
In late 1980's I was in a choir that performed an oratorio I think was by Mr Zimmer. It was a world premier and under the direction of Dr. Robert Berglund at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis, MN. Do you know what the name of the oratorio? Thanks
I have read that Mr. Zimmer began to develop his craft through a mentoring relationship and that he believes in apprenticeships. How does a young composer gain his attention?
Well, let's say it's an official site of Hans Zimmer but an unofficial site of RCProd. So "almost official" for both... ;)

The exact answer is that Hans knows us, appreciate our work and don't search to make a really good official website because he's fine with this situation.(he told us exactly that way)So, we're not official, but Mr Zimmer keeps an eye on our work ;)
Are there any plans to offer digital (lossless) download as a purchase option for TDKR or other works? A lot of artists are offering 96/24 FLAC or Apple Lossless options, which would be great for this type of music. I know that a lot of HZ fans would prefer this format to CD or iTunes, as compressed versions don't do these compositions justice.

I'm 45 years old and thought the emergence of video would change music forever, as it did for me in the 1980's. That was until I went to see the Dark Night in theaters. The sound track absolutely messed me up. It was the first time I ever heard of Hans Zimmer (How immature I was. Then I went to see INCEPTION and was shook to my core during the music when Leo walks through the airport at the end, I'said that can't be the same guy, WRONG. It was. Please let Mr. Zimmer know how much I appreciate what he does and how it's changed the movie industry.
