The Nils Frahm track was released years agoNo one is mentioning "Says" from Nils Frahm. What a masterpiece of music. Love how it develops and getting so emotional even with that futuristic sound-effect. One of the highlights of this score, with those tracks Cerbei mentioned.Balfe is a great arranger but an even better composer.Beyond Two Souls is still one of the best game soundtracks.<br><br>I must have watched another movie in regards to Balfe filling in the gaps - that makes no sense? The soundtrack released seems not to relate to what was actually used in the film.Balfe “gap” music is featured much more and works brilliantly<br>Last night I was talking to Lorne, and he told me that in principle there is intention to release the full score.
I'd be very interested to hear the supposed Balfe complete score to picture where he apparently sought to elevate it, as someone here put it. The Richter is pitch-perfect and works massively well to picture and, not dissing Balfe at all, his stuff is literally 'additional music' to fill the gaps.Aplusle, that's really well put actually.Don't feel bad. You've just summed up why Hans and Lorne make a good team. Lorne is by all accounts a fantastic arranger and can bring out the best in others' ideas but I sometimes find his own compositions are a bit basic or leave me cold. Hans on the other hand always nails the theme and the concept but his scoring to picture to me feels clunky and a bit amateurish, especially when the music is dense. <br><br>Both super talented in their own ways. :-)Is there anyway o get sheet music for Into the pie machine for orchestra?Just saw Maleficent 2. There is a lot more Newton Howard in the movoe than there is on album.<br>I actually can't really understand why they didn't include the reprise of The Christening (the dinner scene) & the finale in the movie.<br><br>Zanelli's score is wonderful and I love it very much. But would have loved this on album
I can't imagine how someone likes Balfe's part over Richters. As you said Thomas, Richters work sounds more like suites, and Balfes work is written more to picture. BUT, it sounds to me also like a typical RCP-work with Hans. While Hans gives the direction with his suites and melodies, Balfe and co are adapting those suites to the specific scenes and writing some "new" stuff to fill any gap if there is any need of it, so they become additional composers in the credits.<br><br>And here, we have the same. Richter shows the direction and some cues are real intense and beautiful. Balfes parts sounding like a gap-filler. I don't want to talk bad about Balfe, he's a composing machine, but still i can't find anything remarkable on those parts and so i can't understand how Richters work hasn't been used but instead the more colorless cues from Balfes part :/<br><br>Again, don't feel insulted guys, it's just my sensationBalfe’s part is the best I think.<br>It also seems written to picture instead of just long suites.<br>My understanding is the Balfe wrote half of the score but the album doesn’t seem to represent that for some reason.I really liked Richter’s score over balfesI listened Max Richter for years. He is the kind of select or minority composer who does his solo works and soundtrack for movies not so famous. <br>His solo works are really really good with quintet and piano and voice. "on the nature of daylight" is definitely the best. <br>His sountrack is not good as his solo, to be honest. I think "the Leftovers" (2014-2017, HBO series), "Miss Slaone" (2016) and "Mary Queen of Scots" (2019) are cool.<br>If you need some peaceful music for meditation or good sleep, listen to his work.Richter did his recording in january and june 2019. The Director himself is a fan of Richter, so the deadline and director are not the reason.<br>It seemed that producers were not satisfied with Richter's music and they wanted something new, that's why they got Lorne. It turned out Lorne brought a very limited new...
@Cercei<br>Hybrid can definitely answer that best. Richter’s score is used (alongside Balfe’s material) as well as some source pieces. If I remember correctly it’s a mish-mash of the two.I do know that piece, it’s very pretty. I’ll check out his other works, thanks for the recommendation. In terms of minimalism I really am into Brian Eno at the moment. His “Music For Airports” and “The Lovely Bones” are excellent if you like more introspective music.btw, you're saying Lorne recomposed and reworked the entire score. as i haven't seen the movie yet, did the producers end up with not using richters score for it at all and just used the score from Lorne?thanks for your information. but i actually don't understand why they have done that. i've heard now Lornes cues and Richters cues. all those cues from Lorne, they sound very similiar to that what Richter composed, but somehow with less melodies. And you really have to work hard to not use fewer melodies then Richter, as he's a minimalist at its best ^^ with that being said, i can't hear any groundbreaking differences from Lornes part, so what was their idea on hiring it and getting the same style of music, but in a more "light" version? :/i really admire Max Richters work, he isn't that new in this scene. his style is that repeating minimalism. maybe you've heard once the cue "on the nature of daylight" which was used a lot by many other movies. his last score which knocked me out was "Hostiles". such an emotional and intense score, you need to hear that, and probably see the movie as well (with Christian Bale). <br><br>

Dear Mr. Zimmer,

You're actually good at scoring other movies. Will Lorne Balfe score Godzilla vs. Kong after Bad Boys for Life? I think he'll do it after this. Thanks for scoring the live-action version of The Lion King and Dark Phoenix. Hope you'll have a wonderful day. Again, thanks for everything.

Sincerely,
Sam Whitacre

Dear Mr. Zimmer,

Thank you for your song "Time" from Inception. I recently (half an hour ago) discovered it and have fallen madly in love with it. I laid down on the floor of my office and turned off the lights and just listened. I swear to you that I felt the vastness of time and space itself forge on past me while I listened. As a senior in high school, it's helped me appreciate even more the fact that time is always moving and that I must take advantage of every possible opportunity that comes my way both this year and in life. Words can't really describe how your song made me truly feel.

Thank again,
Jadon King

Dear Mr. Zimmer!
Your music is beautiful. I will definitely come to your concert in Moscow. I can not find information about the composition of your orchestra. What are the names of the girls who play the first violin?

Dear Mr. Zimmer!
When I listen to your ost for Interstellar it reminds me of the time I have with my children. They are still young but the music puts the perspective of time and the fact that they will grow up. The music helps to step back from the day to day life and take a look at the big picture: life and time itself. Some day we will look back and think of this moment and would wish to return to now. Thank you

Dear Mr. Zimmer!
I found a very nice music, but unfortunately I do not know who the author is and on what disc! I guess you wrote it! I've been trying to ask for information in many places, and many friends, but unfortunately I don't know!
Unfortunately, I can't send this detail to this address! Can I request an email address where I can upload a detail?
Yours sincerely, László

Dear Zimmer,

I am going to your concert at Barcelona in December 2019, can I suggest some OST to the list:
- Interstellar (very important, one of your best works)
- Journey to the line (also very important)

Someone can explain me why Lord Zimmer isn’t doing the music for next Nolan’s film: TENET. I thought his relationship was unbreakable. The film will be completely different without Zimmer. I think we, all fans, have to convince him throughout social media and Internet, despite he has 2 more film in 2020. He can do it, should do it.

Greetings. My message probably is adressed to Hybrid Soldier, since it seems he is the one who posts credits for releases on this site. I would like to ask - is it possible somehow to contact with you directly to discuss some aspects of the release credits. I am "working" as an editor on musicbrainz.org and want to upload RCP albums metadata there, but in the process i have met too many problems regarding credits data from databases and differencies on your site.

Dear Mr. Zimmer,

I am entering my surgery residency next month. I am also in the process of commissioning as an officer in the US military. Before attending medical school, I worked as an engineer and volunteered as an EMT. I have written and published 11 novels and one novella. I wanted to let you know that throughout my life, your music has served as my soundtrack. I have seen movies expressly because you were the score composer. I am a huge fan, and will continue to download and listen to everything you compose. It never ceases to evoke emotion, inspiration, and sometimes even spiritual moments as I go about my work. You can expect that when I am the lead surgeon on a case and have the privilege of choosing the music, your scores will be playing over the OR speakers.

Sincerely,

Morgan Gilmour

Dear Hans Zimmer,
I'm a huge fan of your work for a longggg time! I recently had the privilege to attend to Lisbon's concert on April, 3 at Altice Arena. It was such a brilliant show!!! I still have the shivers when I remember it! and you did show up on stage! That was one of the highest moments of the show!!

As a fan of your music, I'd like to suggest you to add 3 or 4 OST musics to your next concerts. Movies musics like the following are worth listening at a live performance:
- The Rock - it's full of adrenaline!
- Crimson Tide - performing the musics with the russian navy choir would be simply fabulous!
- True Romance - you already performed this one in early concerts (as in "In the Wings of a Film"). Fantastic music!
- Blue Planet [TV Serie] - the images that could be displayed can be a wonderful tribute to our Pale Blue Dot (as Carl Sagan called Earth)!

Please think about this possible enhancement of your next performances!
Best regards and keep on ,
Pedro

Dear Hans Zimmer.

I have no idea if you ever read this, but i just want to thank you for all the amazing music you have create through the years.
You are truly a gifted man.
I hope you along your life had time to teach young talents so they will be able to create such amazing music as you in the future.
I dont know you, but i think you have a love for music and to experiment with music and be the best you can be.
I enjoy your music for movies and impressed how you created the music for "interstellar" with old fashion church ovel/pipes. I think this show you are great and special when you think out of the box and play and experiement with music due to creative talent.
( ps.. i cant even play an instrument my self, but i love your music ).

I wish you the very best, and peace and quiet during old age and hope you will continue to create music as long as you live. Please teach other talented young people to step in your place.

Thank you for everyting amazing work.

Dear Mr. Zimmer,

I went to tonights concert (January 13th, 2019) of your music in the Admiralspalast in Berlin and was thoroughly disappointed. Bad acoustics, weak sound. On the screen behind the orchestra they showed perhaps 10% original pictures from the movie soundtrack they played, most of it what they showed were unrelated cartoons. Many tracks of your music like Inception were hardly recognizable, none of your other tracks were played in a professional fashion. Why do you allow them to use your name for such a rip-off?

Best regards

Ralf Mathiesen

Goldenthal would be ideal - absolutely, but is there anything in Villeneuve's ouvre to merit such a grandiose score? If Balfe gets his dirty mittens on this, it will sound like any-other-thing. At the same time. Junkie's Mortal Engines is a huge orchestral fantasy score, precisely the kind that this film may deem old fashioned (I dare compare Junk XL to Krull with this score - they are as good!). It will probably just be Andrew Kaczxynski (under the Hans Zimmer label) farting into a tube and Barfe blasting out the same old string figure, but now, IMPORTANTLY, with Moroccan bowls (as his silly percussion for MI: Fallout seemed to be so impressive as it used bongo drums - JUST LIKE SCHIFRIN!! Yeah).

Mr. Zimmer sir you have to do a concert in Nashville Tennessee in 2019. I as many others have hoped for years you would come here, I think you could easily fill up the Nissan Stadium it holds about 70 thousand or maybe you would like Bridgestone Arena capacity about 20 thousand, it is said by many to have the best acoustics of any arena in the U.S. We also have the Nashville Symphony in the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. We would LOVE to have you, Sir. God bless.

Hello. My english is not as good as it should be, so i will tell you, what i have to say, in german.
Sehr geehrter Herr Zimmer,

Man of Steel OST bewegt mich in jeder Faser meines Körpers.

Hybrid said there was some sort of legal issue that came up which prevented use of the samples or something like that.
