ANONYMOUS, Please then, if Hybrid is by any case not able to explain the different races scenario, let's just go back to the simple basics where the ideals of the bible started from. God. so then I must ask... How is it easier to believe in God? Let there be light and by miracle it happened... Impressive, but still... God is the greatest trickster of them all. He says smell, but don't eat, see, but don't touch. The tree of knowledge known as the tree of evil.. He creates it when he builds paradise (an area filled by only PERFECTION), yet he tells man to not eat the apple of that tree cause its the tree of evil... what a way to counter himself and to show that if God exists, he is the most IMPERFECT being of us all, apart from the fact that it was EVE who told Adam to eat the apple, so immediately women are punished as less (just as history has shown, but hmm, who causes that, OH THATS RIGHT... MEN) And also.. Who wrote the bible? The bible was written by men, and not by God's disciples. In those times there was not a way to write, it was all spoken through stories, from person to person through time. LATER ON it was written on paper, by other men who weren't with Jesus. so basically like all history it becomes bias, and is something that will not and will never be proven by human kind as we lack so much that we desire to know because we HATE being immortal, so we create the being of God and Heaven, to depend on someone greater when we become useless in the most destructive of cases, just as having a family member sick with a disease that will kill them (which eventually does). War, death, famine, sickness, poverty... Where is God there? Tell me he is there because if he is, then that is the proof to believing in God rather than any other theory (which there is a reason why it is called a theory, since it is not fact) but since I've heard this response from many people through my life, I can only say that most probably a very close minded religious person would simply answer "God works in mysterious ways". I just hope that is not your answer, and it it is... Then I rest my case. I can state that the mentioning of evolution becomes far fetched to be proven on the case that we may come from apes... But races, thats just a normal case of evolution, just as you may have chimpanzees, gorillas, orangutans. They are primates, but three different variates... Just as we are humans, but there are Asian, American, African, Latin etc... Every theory becomes self contradicting or mostly impossible to know for sure as facts... It takes as much faith to believe in God as there is to believe in the bing bang. and honestly the simplest theory to self destruct is that of God... As an interested person in philosophy, Philosophy is questions that can be answered, religion is answers that cannot be questioned... (So my point made clear, let the hate comments rain!! :) )@Hybrid, logic will never work with these creatures. Face it, they are white supremacists who don't BELIEVE in genetics. They'll probably say that races are descendants of demons . . . or something as ridiculous. We, the people with brains, should shut up. Now.Ha sit occurred to you that the birth rate/death rate difference was less than 2% upto 1850s than it is now?

Rhetorical question. I know it hasn't. (Suddenly I am feeling a brotherly compassion for Cutler Beckett . . . and Jim Kirk.)Hybrid, If you read and believed your Bible (which I know you don't) you would understand how the genetics and races came about. Since you don't accept the premise of the Bible being true, its useless to explain it to you. So, how do you explain the different races? Did some people just "evolve" from different color apes? LOL. I still find it easier to believe in God than all of the silliness that you must accept to believe the "theory" of evolution. So, basically, there were 2 humans at the very beginning... Let's ignore the poor genetics it would bring to mankind to all come from incestuous people (lol), but, then, how do you explain there are black people, white, asians etc... Maybe that's an evolution ? LOL
Thats funny Ed. At least you have a sense of humor. No, this is just one of the numerous inconsistencies and contradictory evidence against evolution. There is not enough space here to state them all, but I would be glad to point you where you can read all of it yourself. Carbon dating also has been shown on many occasions to be inaccurate, such as when they tried to date newly formed rocks after the Mt. St. Helens eruption. It was the scientists who believed there would be that much dust on the Moon, not me. Obviously, the point I am making is that scientist are not infallible and are frequently wrong.Really? That's your argument against radiocarbon dating? Not enough moon dust?

To say that's flimsy would be an insult to wet tissue paper.Did you know that the Lunar Module was built with those extremely long landing legs because the scientists at NASA assumed that the supposed billions of years the Moon was in existence (multiplied by the known measurable and consistent micro amounts of space dust accumulation) that there would be several feet of dust on the Moon's surface, however when they got there, they were surprised to find the dust was only less than an inch deep.

Also, if you calculate the Earths population in reverse using the same algorithms that calculate the Earth's population's exponential increase, it shows that going back less than 10,000 years, the equation cones down to two people (Adam and Eve perhaps?). Couple this with the fact there is only about 6,000 to 8,000 years of recorded human history, it does make you wonder how long we really have been here.Did you know that the Lunar Module was built with those extremely long landing legs because the scientists at NASA assumed that the supposed billions of years the Moon was in existence (multiplied by the known measurable and consistent micro amounts of space dust accumulation) that there would be several feet of dust on the Moon's surface, however when they got there, they were surprised to find the dust was only less than an inch deep.

Also, if you calculate the Earths population in reverse using the same algorithms that calculate the Earth's population's exponential increase, it shows that going back less than 10,000 years, the equation cones down to two people (Adam and Eve perhaps?). It's not true ? lol
Even if it will be out only in early 2016, I guess Zimmer will work quite a lot on Batman vs Superman. This year Hans not working big project.. Like (Interstellar,The Amazing Spider Man 2)God forgives all your ridiculous logic. I´ve read some incongruity assertions in this post (Zimmer is an atheistic, The Bible is a fantasy book…) Really sultry. Poor ignorants…** chemically and gravitationally **

Goddamn it!If you people would allow me to throw in a few morsels of my tremendous knowledge here, in the outer space, there is a faint resonance of a Universe-wide explosion of unimaginable power, and a microwave background that spans every single point in the space. Both can be traced back to its time of origin, 13,785--13,810 million years ago.

Rocks on the Moon have been RC-dated to 3 billion-plus years old, The Sun has been chemically and electromagnetically calculated to be 4,350--4,800 million years old.

Astronauts have gone outside the Earth, and have seen it to be spherical and spinning.

But still, people will continue to BELIEVE, that the Universe is 6000 years old, was created in 6 days, and every species was created at the same time, and is unique from each other. Simply because they cannot accept that the Earth doesn't care whether it's entire land mass exists or not. The same goes for the Sun & Earth, and Milky Way & the Sun.

And the Universe & Milky Way.
What does that have to do with a distribution companies screw up???
All I want is my CD I ordered two months ago so I can listen to the man's music that IS great.Imagine if this happened :

Ludwig Van Beethoven writes the 9th Symphony, and after months and months of perfecting and fine tuning his genius, he finally reveals his vision to the world.

At the same time, a theatre group decides to use this amazing work of art as the background music to a play....

Some theatre audience members who were lucky enough to have experienced both versions of the symphony Are not happy that the theatre changed one of the movements from the original composition to make it fit better with the plays narrative...

These same audience members camp outside Beethovens residence shouting their demands, him to fix it. "FIT IT NOW!!" "THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!" Etc etc

Think about it.

Hans is a modern day Beethoven. He is a genius who composes stunning, unequalled works of art. Interstellar is his most recent masterpiece.

Who are you to question him?

Think about it.Nicely put Anonymous. There's a great book called "Scientific Creationism" (written by a creation scientist of course) which focuses totally on the many problems and inconsistencies with the evolutionary theory and provides extremely logical evidence in support of a young Earth and intelligent design. It does not use Biblical references or quotes so maybe some of the non-believers out there could check it out. At the very least it may open up your minds to other possibilities. Just my two cents.Hybrid, if the numbers mean nothing then it works both ways. What makes millions of people who don't believe in God anymore right then the millions who do believe? I do feel sorry for you if you are just expecting to feel nothing or be nothing after you're dead. What hopelessness that must be.

Zimson, I was not making up stories at all, I was merely giving you some of the creationist point of view arguments against evolution. There really is a great deal of very strong anti-evolution evidence out there that should not just be brushed off. There are volumes written on the subject. Many evolution scientists have acknowledged some of the problems with the theory but they would never consider the God /creation side of the argument because that goes against the humanistic approach most scientists prefer to pursue. I understand why scientists would feel this way because simply believing that God created everything is too simple. They have to prove their "intelligence" and faith-based beliefs are not scientific to them. I get that but I also understand the power of God and faith which cannot be explained.

I respect the differing opinions here and I find this discussion very interesting.@anonymous
I used the word "crazy" cause you made up ridiculous stories to putatively disprove
things that are currently considered as scientific standard. The reason it can be called this way is that it's not so easy to do so. I would never consider someone crazy just because they believe in God.

I'm 45 years old and thought the emergence of video would change music forever, as it did for me in the 1980's. That was until I went to see the Dark Night in theaters. The sound track absolutely messed me up. It was the first time I ever heard of Hans Zimmer (How immature I was. Then I went to see INCEPTION and was shook to my core during the music when Leo walks through the airport at the end, I'said that can't be the same guy, WRONG. It was. Please let Mr. Zimmer know how much I appreciate what he does and how it's changed the movie industry.

Hello everyone

Back in August while searching for news on Lorne Balfe score for Assassin's Creed Revelations I came across a Swedish video game site that had received a press release from Ubisoft about teaming up with the Malmo Symphony Orchestra to record music for some of there upcoming games (Including Assassin's Creed Revelations)

Here is the press release translated from Swedish (Translated with Bing)

"Ubisoft and Malmö Symphony Orchestra is initiating cooperation on recordings of original music for the upcoming games. First out is Assassin's Creed Revelations, the fourth sequel in the series of bestselling and critically acclaimed game Assassin's Creed. Data game was launched in 2007 and has sold nearly 30 million copies and is developed by Ubisoft Montreal with support and expertise from the Malmö-based game Studio Massive Entertainment. "

"Malmö Symphony Orchestra already has long experience of that record and make video game music. The Orchestra has since 2006 world record in game music audience at an outdoor concert. Music for Assassin's Creed Revelations recorded in Malmö Concert Hall 24-26 August. A group of hot Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer's leadership are working with music for the games, in this case, it is the Scot Lorne Balfe, who is the author. Mr Balfe has among other things been involved in music for Guy Ritchies film version of Sherlock Holmes who won an Academy Award for best original music, for Frost/Nixon and Pirates of the Caribbean. "

Source: h t t p ://www.discshop.se/spelguiden/blogg/svensk_valljud_i_kommand e_spel/B501

Now whats interesting about the press release is the following

'' A group of hot Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer's leadership are working with music for the games, in this case, it is the Scot Lorne Balfe, who is the author ''

Now maybe it's a poor translation but to me that sounds like Remote Control composer's will be doing the scores for these games.

Now seeing that this site is the ''Almost Official '' site
of Remote Control Productions I was wondering if anybody here knows anything about this?, Or could someone who knows Swedish clear this up, Is it a bad translation or am I reading it right?

Thank you

Sehr geehrter Herr Zimmer

I'm afraid you can't even if there is no commercial purpose. This could depend on each country laws, so it is better to ask to association that manages artits' rights.

Areozz2012-02-29 00:42:03
Comments made by that lansen guy need to be removed. He posted all over here telling people what's okay and what's not and he has absolutely no authority here whatsoever. You wouldn't want people getting in trouble because they took the word of a nobody, would you?

Elaine2012-02-29 01:27:19
Ok, I am glad that I have not done anything as of yet, tyvm Damien. Do you know who I would contact for the Lion King CD then? or Who I would need to speak with, since I am in the states? I want to do the correct thing, so I don't step on any toes or get anyone into trouble. I appreciate it greatly!

Damien, Moderator2012-02-29 20:18:43
@Areozz: you're right, its better I edit this post.

@Elaine: for States and as I presume rights are hold by Disney, it should be the MPAA.
Another way is that on the CD you should have the copyright owner, so by contacting him you should get the answer.

Areozz2012-02-29 21:34:02
There are more of lansen's posts down this page and he has possibly posted on other pages that have had recent activity.

Thanks.

Is it possible to use Mr Zimmer's music for non-commercial videos?

We are a volunteer organisation, operating 1920's trams [streetcars/trolleys].

We invite retired people [greys/silvers - people over 65] to enjoy the experience.

We show them videos [we have made] of the old days and then take them on a ride, followed by morning or afternoon tea.

May we use the music for our 'videos'?
